Can't deal with your tiny phone keyboard. This tool turns phones and tablets into mini laptops, reviewers say.
Typing out a long email on your phone's little touchscreen can be laborious. ('Just can't abide those tiny keyboards,' as one person put it.) Yet lugging around a heavy laptop on vacation in case you need to type is no good solution if you're trying to be less attached at the hip to your computer.
One pivot I'm increasingly drawn to — and which reviewers call 'one of my favorite Amazon purchases of all time' — is ditching the computer for a portable Bluetooth keyboard. Slim and convenient, this Logitech travel keyboard is 'phenomenal, really,' writes one reviewer, 'like having a small laptop.'
The practical tool connects to three devices — like your smartphone or tablet — so you can flexibly type on the go without depending on a touchscreen or a computer you're sick of. Called the 'Swiss Army knife of keyboards," the accessory frees you up during travel or days off while still giving you the flexibility to do what you have to do.
'Using my thumbs to enter captions and text is tiring and clumsy. With this keyboard — which I use every single day now — I can easily prop my phone up in the designated space and type away. People ask me all the time what it is and where I got it,' said one reviewer.
'The last few trips I took I didn't even pack a laptop — the keyboard and my phone or tablet was enough,' wrote someone named Walter. 'I purchased this keyboard to use with my iPad mini as I travel, so I wouldn't have to carry my heavy laptop around,' another echoed.
'I use it with my iPad and it turns into a laptop basically when I'm at a coffee shop,' wrote Avi (another person, Leslie, called it their 'go-to coffee shop writing tool paired with iPad').
People especially appreciate how easy the tool is to use, even for folks who don't feel very tech-savvy.

The keyboard is ready to use out of the box: It comes with two pre-installed AAA batteries so all you have to do is connect your device and get to it. 'This was so easy to setup even for this 72 year old lady with limited tech skills,' wrote Karen.
Ample travel keyboard options exist, but 'as far as Bluetooth keyboards go, [this is] definitely the one to get,' reviewers say. For one, folks love the keyboard's built-in slotted cradle that holds your phone or tablet up as you type.
'Every other keyboard doesn't have this feature, meaning you have to buy a stand or bulky case with a stand,' explained a reviewer named Gideon.
The keyboard's connectivity is also excellent, reviewers purport, saying it ' works spectacularly ' with no lagging while typing and ' seamless ' switching between your devices.
Reviewers also appreciate that Logitech 'is a solid brand with a good reputation for quality products.' 'Logitech is a terrific choice for anything, really,' said another.
The keyboard isn't the lightest one you'll find, but that's a good thing, reviewers note; the tool needs a little heft in order to securely hold a tablet or smartphone without tipping over.
You can grab a travel case to go with it, too.

'Currently using this product to write this review from my phone. I have trouble catching up with texts, especially with family and long paragraphs. I bought this to make texting on my phone easier. Opened the box and was using the product within 3 minutes. Works like a charm. Keys are a little sticky but its brand new gotta break it in. Highly recommend. Typing on the phone is annoying as hell for me, especially because I have large thumbs. This product did the trick! ' — Eastcoastmike
'I got this for my 88 year old mother so she could more easily use the keyboard for her iPad and iPhone - she found it intuitive to use and set up - and much easier than using the touch screen. Also she can use it as a stand to watch Netflix and video! - success- ordering another one for me!' — barry weinstein
'I've had this keyboard now for well over a year and it works great! I use it mostly with my cell phone and tablets, texting, email, etc. It's so much better than pecking at a little screen with your finger. Being able to touch type makes it even better to use. The batteries last and last. I very highly recommend it!' — Stan M
'As an avid writer I am constantly creating stories. I had been using my phone primarily because it's easier and more convenient to travel with and just downloaded google docs to keep up with writing. After months of hand cramps I decided to get this keyboard. IT HAS BECOME A PART OF ME! I don't go anywhere without it. I've used it continuously anywhere from 5-8 hours a day for about a year now and batteries and connectivity are still as amazing as day 1! The keyboard itself has a bit of weight so its stable on a desk and the keys respond very well. It's very convenient to type docs on my phone with it because I can answer a text, search the web, and keep writing with split screen on my phone and this keyboard. ' — Kaylen matos

Need a charge? Check out these charger deals from Anker and UGREEN

All of these charger deals come from Amazon. The Anker Laptop Charger discount is available through an on-page coupon. Make sure to apply it before adding it to your cart. The other two deals are applied automatically, so just add them to your cart and check out. Anker Laptop Charger 140W At first sight, this may look like a normal multi-port charger, but let us tell you it is quite the upgrade. For starters, it has a really cool little display that can give you the live status of your output, port information, temperature data, and more. Fun features aside, though, it is also pretty capable. The max output, as the name entails, is 140W. These max speeds can be reached any of the two main USB-C ports, but only when charging a single devices. The wattage will be shared as you plug in more devices simultaneously. There is also a third USB-C port, but that one maxes out at 40W. The USB-A connection has a max output of 33W, which honestly still isn't bad! In a nutshell, this all means the two main USB-C ports can charge nearly any modern laptop. Of course, it will also be able to fast-charge smartphones and tablets. Mainstream high-end smartphones max out at about 45W, so you'll have wattage to spare. It's a great high-end charger, with plenty of ports and output that will keep most people happy. It's a bit on the higher-end, but it's definitely worth the investment if you want to quickly charge multiple devices. It's definitely my favorite out of these charger deals! UGREEN Nexode 200W Charger UGREEN Nexode 200W Charger UGREEN Nexode 200W Charger See price at Amazon Save $30.00 Limited Time Deal! Now, if you don't feel like spending $80 bucks, here's an option that actually has a higher output of 200W! It's also cheaper, so it's a great deal. It just happens to be older and less flashy. When charging a single device, the UGREEN Nexode 200W Charger's main USB-C port can reach 140W. The second one can reach 100W, while the third one is limited to 30W. The USB-A port is limited to 22.5W. That's not bad at all, and it's nice to see that two of these ports can charge a laptop at the same time! It's still pretty small, and just like the Anker option above, it supports the PPS standard, which many newer smartphones require to reach max speeds. Anker Nano 100W 3-Port Charger The Anker Nano 100W 3-Port Charger is much older now, but it is a pretty nice alternative if the other options above are a bit overkill. And this one is just $35.99! It's still a really good charger; It has a max output of 100W. There are two USB-C ports, and both can reach the max 100W when charging a single device. The USB-A connection maxes out at 22.5W. It's still small and portable. The only downside is that it has no PPS support, but that might not be an issue for you. And even without PPS, charging is pretty fast in most cases. Make sure to catch these deals before they go away! These are all great, and they will charge multiple devices much faster than those cheap single-port chargers you get at general stores.

Razer's new mousepad wirelessly charges mice with a Logitech-style puck

Razer has announced a new mousepad that can wirelessly charge your wireless mouse while you're using it. It's not Razer's first attempt at the idea, but the new HyperFlux V2 doesn't require you to use a single specific mouse — it works with several models in Razer's current lineup, charging their batteries continuously using an included adapter puck. It looks and sounds very similar to Logitech's patented Powerplay Wireless Charging System. The HyperFlux V2 Wireless Charging System comes in two versions for $119.99. One with a hard surface that's available now, and one with a softer cloth surface, which is expected to launch later this year. The original Razer HyperFlux was sold as part of a $249.99 bundle that included the Mamba HyperFlux mouse. The V2 model doesn't come with a mouse, but is compatible with the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, Basilisk V3 Pro, Cobra Pro, and Naga V2 Pro mice, which range in price from $129.99 to $179.99. The Mamba HyperFlux mouse that worked with the original version of the HyperFlux pad featured a supercapacitor inside that retained power for about 5 to 10 seconds when it was lifted off the pad. That was enough time to allow you to reposition the mouse without it dying, but to use it anywhere else required a USB cable. The new HyperFlux V2 instead uses a puck inserted into the bottom of the supported mouse models that charges their batteries wirelessly while they're on the pad, like its Logitech competitor. An LED indicator at the top of the pad indicates the battery's charge level by changing colors. Like the original version, the new HyperFlux V2 mouse pad also serves as a receiver, allowing Razer's mice and keyboards to wirelessly connect to a PC (through the pad, which connects to a computer over USB) using its proprietary HyperSpeed technology that's faster and more reliable than Bluetooth. The mouse pad is also compatible with Razer's wireless keyboards, including the BlackWidow V3 Pro and DeathStalker V2 Pro, but it can't charge them wirelessly.
