The team's outstanding performance in the traditional equestrian sport highlights Bahrain's growing prominence in regional athletic events and showcases the skill and discipline of the Ministry of Interior's athletes.
Brigadier Abdullah Al Harram, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs, extended his gratitude to His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his unwavering support of the Ministry's sports initiatives. He credited this continued encouragement for the numerous achievements by Interior Ministry athletes on both local and international stages.

Going up against 54 top riders from 18 teams, Bahrain's riders showed they can compete with the best on the world stage. The event, first held in 1943, was a favourite of Queen Elizabeth II and is now attended by HM King Charles III at Windsor Castle. Adding to the occasion's prestige, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH The Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa were all present. HH Shaikh Khalid Leads Bahrain's Delegation at 37th GCC Olympic Committee Meeting
TDT | Manama His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, led Bahrain's delegation at the 37th meeting of the GCC National Olympic Committee Presidents in Kuwait on Sunday. Joining Shaikh Khalid were His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee; Mr. Faris Mustafa Al Kooheji, Secretary-General; and Board Member Ms. Fajr Jassim. Shaikh Khalid also held a high-level meeting with newly elected International Olympic Committee President Kirsty Coventry. His Highness congratulated Coventry on her historic appointment and extended Bahrain's full support for the global Olympic movement.
