IPA Chief Economist Adam Creighton has spoken on former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre leaving the Democratic Party and becoming an independent.
She also has a book coming out, labelled 'Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines'.
'She was the worst press secretary the US has ever had,' Mr Creighton told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
'She was the ultimate diversity hire.'
