A Devout Chloé Girl Is Parting With 80 Outfits by Karl Lagerfeld
Auction house Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr is handling the online sale, which kicks off on June 26 and runs through July 9.

An exhibition of the dresses at 6 Avenue Hoche opens on July 3, and straddles Haute Couture Week in Paris, scheduled for July 7 to 10.
Bonhams is keeping the identity of the seller under wraps, but confirmed it's a single-owner collection.
Estimates for the dresses start at 700 euros and run up to about 1,500 euros.
Lagerfeld logged two celebrated stints at Chloé. He started working for the house in 1963 and initially worked alongside other designers brought on by founder Gaby Aghion, such as Graziella Fontana, Tan Giudicelli and Michèle Rosier.
Lagerfeld took full creative control of Chloé in 1966 and worked there until 1983.
He rejoined Chloé for a second time in 1992, creating memorable ad campaigns with model Linda Evangelista, before leaving for good in 1997.
'This auction is an homage to Karl Lagerfeld with an exemplary collection of designs from his early years at Chloé presented alongside groundbreaking looks from his final spring 1984 Chloé collection,' commented Hubert Felbacq, director of the fashion and accessories department at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr.
Among lots from that spring 1984 collection is an ivory silk evening dress embroidered with gold sequins and draped for an antique effect. It's offered with an estimate of 1,200 to 1,500 euros.
Felbacq noted that under the German designer, 'Chloé entered a golden era, pushing the boundaries of prêt-à-porter with bold, narrative-driven collections. From ethereal gowns and romantic silhouettes to bold, surrealist prints, these garments exemplify Lagerfeld's unparalleled ability to blend elegance with innovation.'
The Bonhams sale also spans 70 other lots of haute couture from Yves Saint Laurent, Guy Laroche, Louis Feraud, Hervé Léger, Emanuel Ungaro and Pierre Balmain.

Orlando, who split from Katy in June after nine years and one child together, took to the comments to react, sharing a series of handclap emojis. It's no surprise to see Orlando joking around, as he's said to have a friendly relationship with Katy in the wake of their split. According to a source, it was especially important for them to remain cordial so they could be around their daughter, Daisy, 4, "separately or together." "Katy has every intention of maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with Orlando," one source said. "He's the father of their daughter and that will always come first for her." The source added, "They've been through a lot together and while they've decided to go their separate ways, there's still a mutual respect between them. They're still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together. For the sake of their daughter, they're committed to keeping things amicable." Conjunto music pioneer Flaco Jimenez is dead at 86
Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Texas conjunto music pioneer Flaco Jimenez, 86, died while surrounded by his family at one of his son's homes on Thursday night, his family announced. Flaco was born in San Antonio in 1939 and began performing with Tex-Mex bands at age 15, which led to his earning multiple Grammy Awards many years later. "It is with great sadness that we share tonight the loss of our father, Flaco Jimenez," his family said on Thursday in a Facebook post. "He was surrounded by his loved ones and will be missed immensely," his family said. "Thank you to all of his fans and friends -- those who cherished his music," the family continued. "His legacy will live on through his music and all of his fans." The post was signed by Arturo and Lisa Jimenez, Javier and Raquel Fernandez, Gilbert Jimenez and Cynthia Jimenez. Flaco Jimenez suffered from a long-term illness prior to his death, the San Antonio Express-News reported without saying the nature of the illness. His last words were, "Ya estoy cansado," which is Spanish for "I'm tired," Arturo Jiminez said. Flaco and his brother, Santiago Jr., were born and raised in San Antonio and became leading performers of conjunto music, which their grandfather, Patricio Jimenez, pioneered. Conjunto music combines Mexican, German, Polish and Czech waltz and polka musical traditions to create a danceable form that features the accordion with accompaniment from guitars, bass and drums. Conjunto is particularly popular in northern Mexico and Texas, and Flaco played a three-row button Hohner accordion and sang. He recorded his first regional hit, "Hasta La Vista," in 1955 for the Tipico record label. Flaco's early conjunto recordings were made for small record labels and later were collected by folk recording label Arhoolie. Flaco in a 1973 interview described conjunto as "happy music" and said it combined polka with rock and roll and cumbia forms. "You can't just stick with polka and redova and schottisches," he told Arhoolie owner Chris Strachwitz in the interview. "You have to play what's going on in the world." Flaco recorded with fellow conjunto pioneer Doug Sahm in New York City in 1972 and contributed to Ry Cooder's 1976 album, "Chicken Skin Music," which helped spread conjunto beyond its Tex-Mex roots in San Antonio. He also performed with the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Dr. John, among others. Flaco was especially influential as a solo performer and as a member of the Texas Tornados and Los Super Seven musical acts. Flaco's career led to his receipt of many awards, including six Grammy Awards from 1987 to 2015. One of his Grammys was a Lifetime Achievement award.
