EXCLUSIVE Girlfriend of embattled MAGA lawmaker breaks silence after alleged domestic assault
Headlines broke in February that Florida Republican Rep. Cory Mills was under investigation for a domestic assault after the police were called to his residence in Washington, D.C.
Sarah Raviani, a co-founder of Iranians for Trump, phoned the police after '(Her significant other for over a year) grabbed her, shoved her, and pushed her out of the door' of his apartment, a copy of the initial incident report obtained by NBC claims.
Raviani showed 'bruises on her arm which appeared fresh', the report stated, in addition to claiming that Mills instructed her to lie to authorities about what took place.
'Officers [heard] Subject 1 [now identified by MPD as Mills] instruct her to lie about the origin of her bruises,' it stated.
Police also allegedly told Mills he would be placed under arrest, but after Raviani changed her story, no arrest took place and no charges have been filed.
A new version of the police report was created within days, saying the incident was a family disturbance and there was no cause for arrest. Both Mills and Raviani deny any wrongdoing.
Breaking her silence to set the record straight, Raviani told the Daily Mail in a statement: 'Regarding the police call, I've confirmed multiple times and I'll confirm again, no assault took place.'
The 27-year-old confirmed that she and Mills, who is married, are together: 'We're in a relationship,' she said, adding 'it's been confirmed many times.'
The Daily Mail first contacted Raviani to speak about a report from The Blaze which sheds light on the congressman's 2014 marriage to Rana Al Saadi, an American citizen originally from Iraq.
According to the report, Mills and Al Saadi were wed in an Islamic ceremony by a member of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood, Mohammad Al-Hanooti. The Islamic center they were married at was also briefly attended by some 9/11 hijackers.
Mills shares in the article that his relationship with Al Saad is in the process of ending. 'We've been going through divorce proceedings for 2.5 years and have been separated for three years.'
The report also cast doubts on how genuine Mills' Christian faith is, but Raviani told the Daily Mail it should not be up for debate.
'I can confidently say that the claims made in the Blaze article are entirely untrue,' she wrote.
The couple regularly pray together in private, she shared.
'He has not only attended church with my family and me, but we also pray together privately— just the two of us— where there would be no reason to pretend or perform for others.'
'Additionally, we pray together publicly before meals. Any assertion that he is a Muslim is false, and I can personally attest to his Christian faith,' she told the Daily Mail.
In fact, the two even spent Easter together overseas while the congressman was visiting Turkey and Syria on an unofficial trip with Indiana Republican Rep. Marlin Stutzman.
The unofficial trip was organized by the Syrian American Alliance for Peace and Prosperity, Mills has said.
Photos posted on Stutzman's social media show Raviani at a table next to Mills during conversations in Turkey.
When pressed on the meeting the pro-Iranian activist shared: 'I was with Cory, and they offered me to sit in the meeting before dinner.'
'I'm an advocate for women's rights in Iran and a free Iran.'
'The purpose of the travel was because we wanted to spend Easter together,' she shared.

MSNBC host makes brazen jab at Karoline Leavitt's appearance during Putin summit
MSNBC host Antonia Hylton suggested that Karoline Leavitt looked 'ashen' and 'terrified' after witnessing the Donald Trump-Vladimir Putin meeting in Alaska. On Saturday night's episode of MSNBC's The Weekend: Primetime, Hylton discussed Friday's summit with guest former US Ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul. Hylton claimed that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, 27, appeared to be scared of what she had seen 'behind closed doors' as she emerged from Trump's meeting with the Russian president. The journalist then hit out at Leavitt's appearance, describing her skin as pale and gray after accompanying the president on the high-stakes summit. 'A lot of the press corps that was there, they reported in the minutes and hours after the presser that they saw members of the administration, like Karoline Leavitt, look ashen, almost frightened after what they had seen behind closed doors,' Hylton said. 'What did that indicate to you?' she asked McFaul - an Obama appointee. 'We should all be glad that we did not go to Alaska,' McFaul responded, adding that Leavitt's appearance after the meeting 'suggests to me that this was a bigger disaster than they're leading on to.' Hylton, 31, hosts the MSNBC show alongside Elize Jordan, Ayman Mohyeldin and Catherine Rampell. It airs on Saturdays and Sundays from 6pm to 9pm. The co-hosts' discussion came after Putin and Trump met on Friday in Alaska to discuss Russia's war with Ukraine. While Trump claims to have made 'a lot of progress' and said the summit was a '10 out of 10,' the meeting has been considered by many to have been a large failure for America. Trump succumbed to Putin by adopting the Russian position that moves should concentrate on a final peace deal, which will likely take months or years, instead of a ceasefire. The president also backed away from threats to impose tough new sanctions on Russia and expand secondary sanctions on countries that purchase oil from the nation. Days before the summit, Leavitt played cleanup for Trump who falsely claimed twice that he was preparing to go to Russia to visit Putin. 'Perhaps there are plans in the future to travel to Russia and on Friday the president will be meeting with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, in Alaska, as you know,' she said during the White House press briefing on Monday. Trump, however, specifically mentioned during his press conference that he would be traveling to Russia: 'You know, I'm going to see Putin. I'm going to Russia on Friday,' Trump said in what was widely assumed to be a verbal slip. Then he did it again.

Starmer to join Trump-Zelensky summit after Putin talks fail to reach Ukraine-Russia ceasefire: Live updates
Sir Keir Starmer will join Volodymyr Zelensky and other European leaders for a crucial meeting with President Trump at the White House on Monday. Downing Street confirmed the prime minister would be attending, after six key allies announced they would be travelling to Washington DC in a show of support for Ukraine. Finish president Alexander Stubb, German chancellor Friedrich Merz and French president Emmanuel Macron are among those who will on hand to prevent any flare-ups between the Ukrainian president and Trump, and to represent Europe's interests. European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen will also be in attendance at the request of Zelensky.. The Russian leader told Trump that he would be prepared to stop fighting on the rest of the frontline if Ukraine gave in to the demand. The concessions were discussed at the summit of the two leaders in Alaska on Friday, which ended with no peace deal despite nearly three hours of talks. Sources very close to the meeting told The Independent the dramatic move appears to have been endorsed by Mr Trump as a means to bring an end to the war. EU's von der Leyen says content of ceasefire is more important European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told reporters on Sunday the term "ceasefire" was less important than the need to stop the killing. "It matters what's the effect. And the effect must be to stop the killing," von der Leyen said. "So it's not the term itself, it's the content that matters. It is so important to have as soon as possible a trilateral meeting ... between the President of Ukraine, the President of the United States, and of Russia." The free world's most celebrated president is showing some mettle in agreeing to a meeting with the leader of the free world. When Volodymyr Zelensky walks into the Oval Office on Monday, he knows he's risking another ambush. The Ukrainian president is prepared to gamble that he'll get another White House schoolyard bullying session, because there's a slim chance that Donald Trump may finally have tired of being played by the Kremlin. It is now conceivable, just, that Trump is prepared to consider security guarantees for Ukraine that reflect Nato's Article 5, which could mean that if Ukraine signed up to a peace deal then its long-term future sovereignty and security would be protected, by force of arms, by allies including the US. Multiple dead after gunman opens fire in New York restaurant
At least three people were killed and eight more were wounded when multiple gunmen opened fire inside a Brooklyn restaurant. The horror unfolded in the early hours of Sunday morning at Taste of the City Lounge in the Crown Heights neighborhood. Tisch said 36 shell casings were recovered from the scene at 903 Franklin Avenue. A separate firearm was discovered at the corner of Eastern Parkway, which investigators say may have been one used in the shooting spree. Tisch said at her press conference that the shooting was 'terrible' but stressed that it was an anomaly amid New York's falling crime stats. 'We have the lowest number of shooting incidents and shooting victims seven months into the year we've seen on record in the city of New York,' she said. The Taste of the City Lounge where the shooting unfolded specializes in Caribbean cuisine and offers a hookah bar and DJs. It is less than half a mile from the historic Brooklyn Museum, and closed at 2am on Sunday - an hour and a half before the shooting - according to its website. New York City Mayor Eric Adams and mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani are yet to comment on the shooting, with former Governor and Mamdani's rival in the mayoral race Andrew Cuomo the first to respond. He said on X: 'Another horrific mass shooting in NYC last night, as three lives were lost and eight wounded in a senseless, deadly attack. My heart goes out to the victims and to their loved ones. 'Public safety is, and always has been, Job 1. This isn't the time to defund or dismantle the police. We need more officers, not less, to keep our communities safe.'
