At US$86.61, Is Light & Wonder, Inc. (NASDAQ:LNW) Worth Looking At Closely?
Light & Wonder, Inc. (NASDAQ:LNW), is not the largest company out there, but it received a lot of attention from a substantial price movement on the NASDAQGS over the last few months, increasing to US$111 at one point, and dropping to the lows of US$85.14. Some share price movements can give investors a better opportunity to enter into the stock, and potentially buy at a lower price. A question to answer is whether Light & Wonder's current trading price of US$86.61 reflective of the actual value of the mid-cap? Or is it currently undervalued, providing us with the opportunity to buy? Let's take a look at Light & Wonder's outlook and value based on the most recent financial data to see if there are any catalysts for a price change.

Good news, investors! Light & Wonder is still a bargain right now. According to our valuation, the intrinsic value for the stock is $141.17, but it is currently trading at US$86.61 on the share market, meaning that there is still an opportunity to buy now. What's more interesting is that, Light & Wonder's share price is quite volatile, which gives us more chances to buy since the share price could sink lower (or rise higher) in the future. This is based on its high beta, which is a good indicator for how much the stock moves relative to the rest of the market.

Future outlook is an important aspect when you're looking at buying a stock, especially if you are an investor looking for growth in your portfolio. Buying a great company with a robust outlook at a cheap price is always a good investment, so let's also take a look at the company's future expectations. With profit expected to more than double over the next couple of years, the future seems bright for Light & Wonder. It looks like higher cash flow is on the cards for the stock, which should feed into a higher share valuation.
Are you a shareholder? Since LNW is currently undervalued, it may be a great time to accumulate more of your holdings in the stock. With a positive outlook on the horizon, it seems like this growth has not yet been fully factored into the share price. However, there are also other factors such as capital structure to consider, which could explain the current undervaluation.
Are you a potential investor? If you've been keeping an eye on LNW for a while, now might be the time to make a leap. Its prosperous future outlook isn't fully reflected in the current share price yet, which means it's not too late to buy LNW. But before you make any investment decisions, consider other factors such as the strength of its balance sheet, in order to make a well-informed investment decision.
With this in mind, we wouldn't consider investing in a stock unless we had a thorough understanding of the risks. Be aware that Light & Wonder is showing 2 warning signs in our investment analysis and 1 of those shouldn't be ignored...

Study: Colorado not great for first-time homebuyers
DENVER (KDVR) — There are many factors that go into first-time homebuyers' decisions when they are perusing the housing market. Some of those factors can include location, cost, safety, and timing, among many others. However, the biggest factor is most often the price of the home, and while many homebuyers will steer clear of a big city like Denver — which has higher house prices — it turns out that even smaller Colorado cities might not be the best fit for first-time homebuyers, according to a survey from SmartAsset, a finance company. SmartAsset ranked 180 metro areas across the United States based on several metrics, including: Affordability Local median incomes Level of housing inventory Demand for housing inventory Home-price growth projection Relative population of residents in their 20s or 30s Demaryius Thomas to be inducted into Broncos Ring of Fame this fall Coloradans would have to scan the study for a while before finding a Colorado city, as Pueblo is the first name to appear on the list in the 49th spot. It will take even longer to find the next city, Colorado Springs, at the 120th spot. Colorado cities that round off the list are Denver at the 142nd spot, Fort Collins at the 160th spot and Boulder in 179th. The top 10 places to buy a first home, according to the list, include: Rank Metro area Median sale price Days to pending Inventory per capita One-year price change forecast 1. McAllen, Texas $204,499 64 0.00388 0.4% 2. Lawton, Oklahoma $150,007 25 0.00389 -1.1% 3. Killeen, Texas $253,104 45 0.00604 -1.0% 4. Warner Robins, Georgia $232,822 19 0.00328 0.8% 5. Appleton, Wisconsin $296,011 42 0.00206 1.3% 6. Fayetteville, North Carolina $255,157 19 0.00454 1.5% 7. Savannah, Georgia $353,187 38 0.00555 0.6% 8. Clarksville, Tennessee $289,257 26 0.00438 0.6% 9. Cape Coral, Florida $344,037 59 0.02404 -1.6% 10. Muncie, Indiana $152,814 12 0.00261 1.6% While Colorado did not have any high-ranking candidates, the state did feature on the list five times, even though it was closer to the lower end of metro areas. Relief offered to homeowners affected by Hurricane Sally & frequent flooding
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – Twelve Panama City property owners impacted by Hurricane Sally still experiencing frequent flooding, are receiving some relief. City officials are buying their homes. The city received a $5 million grant from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity for the Voluntary Home Buyout Program. The 12 homes are appraised for a total of $2,680,500 and are spread around the city. Some of the owners on Cincinnati and Lake avenues missed out on the program after Hurricane Michael. A new Jackson County business approved for devlopment agreement The city buys the property, tears down the homes and converts the land into green space, recreational areas or floodplain and wetlands, reducing future flooding. 'It's a great program in helping people get out of a very difficult situation, as well as reducing the overall cost of infrastructure in the city, because a lot of these homes are turning into retention areas. Things that help alleviate flooding for other neighbors and other neighborhoods,' Commissioner Josh Street said. Officials said they are still accepting applications for the program.
