Muscat: A Canadian citizen who has been accused of being part of international crime network has been arrsted in the Sultanate of Oman, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The General Department of Criminal Investigation and Research arrested a Canadian national accused of belonging to an international organized crime network and participating in numerous criminal schemes in several countries, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

ROP arrests three for trafficking, 47 women for immoral acts
Muscat: Three people, including an Omani citizen and two Egyptian nationals, have been arrested on charges of human trafficking in Muscat. The operation was carried out by the Muscat Governorate Police Command in cooperation with the Special Taskforce Police Command. The Royal Oman Police (ROP) also arrested 47 women of various nationalities for engaging in acts contrary to public morals and decency. The group comprised 21 Egyptian nationals, 10 Iranians, eight Pakistanis, four Thais, two Uzbeks and two Moroccans. The ROP said legal action is being taken against all those involved, and investigations are continuing.

Expats arrested for human trafficking and public morals violations in Muscat
Muscat : The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested three foreigners for human trafficking in Muscat Governorate. ROP said in a statement :"Muscat Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Special Taskforce Police Command, arrested three individuals, including a citizen and two Egyptian nationals, on charges of human trafficking." Meanwhile, the ROP arrested 21 Egyptian women, ten Iranian women, eight Pakistani women, four Thai women, two Uzbek women, and two Moroccan women were arrested for engaging in acts contrary to public morals and decency. Legal procedures are being completed.

Interpol assists Oman in extraditing Yemeni fraud suspect
Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigation and Research, in cooperation with the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol), has successfully repatriated a Yemeni national accused of multiple financial crimes. The suspect had fled the country after allegedly committing several offences, including embezzlement and money laundering, during his employment at a commercial company in Oman. Authorities confirmed that legal procedures are being completed against the individual.
