Interpol assists Oman in extraditing Yemeni fraud suspect
Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigation and Research, in cooperation with the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol), has successfully repatriated a Yemeni national accused of multiple financial crimes. The suspect had fled the country after allegedly committing several offences, including embezzlement and money laundering, during his employment at a commercial company in Oman. Authorities confirmed that legal procedures are being completed against the individual.

Canadian national wanted by Interpol arrested in Oman
Muscat: A Canadian citizen who has been accused of being part of international crime network has been arrsted in the Sultanate of Oman, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP). The General Department of Criminal Investigation and Research arrested a Canadian national accused of belonging to an international organized crime network and participating in numerous criminal schemes in several countries, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
