Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar is ready to try something new with a comedy film featuring two heroes. Rajkummar Rao has been finalised to play one of the main roles in this yet-to-be-titled satirical comedy.According to a report in Pinkvilla, the actor and director have been in discussions for a while. Sircar is reportedly looking for a credible actor with strong comic sensibilities to complement Rao's performance. 'The brief is simple – a credible actor, with some comic timing. Shoojit also wants to work with secure people, who don't interfere much in the process of filmmaking. Two-hero films are tricky, and it's crucial to work with right energies. Shoojit has found Raj, who aligns with his sensibilities and the hunt for parallel lead is underway," the source added.
The production team is expected to finalise the filming schedule once the second actor is confirmed.Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao has a packed slate. He is currently gearing up for the release of 'Bhool Chuk Maaf', produced by Dinesh Vijan, and is simultaneously working on two of his own productions slated for direct release on Netflix.
