Meghan Markle and Nicola Peltz 'team up' in new 'power alliance'
Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry are reportedly keen to build on the friendship they share with Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz amid their feud with the Beckhams
Meghan Markle is reportedly keen to build on her friendship with Nicola Peltz. The Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry are said to be keen to develop a 'US Fab Four' with Nicola and her husband Brooklyn Beckham.
Brooklyn and Nicola have hit the headlines recently amid a feud with his parents David and Victoria Beckham. Sources claimed to The Mirror that Nicola and Brooklyn were "devastated" not to see his parents on a recent trip to London.
"Nicola encourages Brooklyn to see his family and is usually the reason Brooklyn does see his family. They are both devastated," a source said, "They cannot believe that Victoria & David refused to see them privately after they travelled all the way to London specifically to try to repair the relationship. As parents, it's shocking that Victoria & David are behaving this way... instead of privately discussing the issue. Victoria and David (appear to) have no interest in finding a solution that works for everyone."
However, now, Meghan and Nicola are reportedly keen to create a new "power alliance".
A source told Closer magazine of the pair's new bond: "The Sussexes are looking to really build on this friendship, and all of them see huge potential for it to evolve into a 'US Fab Four'.
"Creating this new power alliance is a big slap in the face for David, Victoria and the royals – but the four have zero qualms or regrets about that because they all feel like they've been so badly wronged."
The source added of the pair's plans: "As far as they're all concerned, teaming up and finding solidarity in adversity is a no-brainer. And if they can get a sense of revenge in the process, then that's all the better."
Things are said to not be great between David and Prince Harry, with the Duke of Sussex said to have asked David to be an ambassador for the Invictus Games. However, it was claimed that Harry didn't see David at the event in Sydney in 2018 and it had been claimed that Harry was keeping his friend at arms' length because Meghan feared Victoria was leaking stories about her.
It was later reported that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola attended a dinner party at Meghan and Harry's Montecito mansion just days after Brooklyn missed his dad David's 50th birthday celebrations in London.
Sources claimed the invite was an "unexpected" but they gratefully received it after feeling "battle-wounded" by the family feud between the Beckhams, whilst Victoria and David are said to have "shuddered in horror" over the "new friendship".
Meghan and Harry's reps declined to comment when approached by the Mirror.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new royal title plan 'utterly bewilders' palace insiders
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Sources within Buckingham Palace have allegedly been left "utterly bewildered" by claims that Prince Harry intends to secure royal titles for his offspring, Archie and Lilibet, so they can choose their own path in regards to royal duties as they mature. A royal insider revealed to the Daily Mail's Richard Eden: "I find this very hard to understand. Harry and Meghan apparently found official duties and life within the Royal Family unbearable, yet they want this for their children. It doesn't make sense." After ceasing to fulfil royal responsibilities, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle withdrew from using their HRH titles, following an arrangement with the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2020. There are whispers that the hesitancy from certain officials about granting passports for Archie and Lilibet, potentially including their HRH titles, contributed to a delay in the process. The Guardian cited a royal source stating: "The King hadn't wanted Archie and Lili to carry the titles, most of all the HRH, and the British passports, once created, would be the first and perhaps the only legal proof of their names." An "exasperated" Harry is said to have voiced his frustration to his uncle, Earl Spencer, feeling that passport office officials were intentionally impeding him, and he pondered whether to adopt his mother's maiden name – Spencer – rather than Sussex. (Image: Getty Images for Global Citizen) Royal commentators are left puzzled by Harry and Meghan's insistence on retaining the option for their children to use their HRH titles, despite the couple's claims of suffering greatly. At the time they stepped back from royal duties, Harry expressed: "Part of this job is putting on a brave face but, for me and my wife, there is a lot of stuff that hurts, especially when the majority of it is untrue." The Sussexes have repeatedly voiced their struggles with the relentless public attention. During the Sussexes' controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey, which significantly damaged their relationship with the Royal Family, Meghan revealed the immense pressure of royal life led her to a point where she "just didn't want to be alive any more". Yet, there's widespread conjecture that their motives may extend beyond Archie and Lilibet's future prospects. (Image: PA) Richard Eden suggests that keeping the children's HRH titles might signal a desire to reconcile, describing it as "the biggest hint yet that they're hoping to mend fences". Meghan discussed potential business ventures with her daughter, Princess Lilibet, on Tina Knowles' podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder. Eden speculated: "I wonder, would it perhaps be better for business if Lili were an American princess in line for a dramatic return to the Royal Family?". Yorkshire Live has contacted representatives for both Buckingham Palace and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but is yet to receive a response.

Harry and Meghan sent 'significant' Trooping the Colour message
Trooping the Colour will take place tomorrow (Saturday, June 14), but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as in previous years, will not be in attendance at the celebrations The Royal Family sent a "significant" message to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Trooping the Colour several years ago. The parade will take place tomorrow (Saturday, June 14) and is expected to draw 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians as well as crowds of adoring royal fans. The event will take place between Buckingham Palace and Horse Guards Parade in London, where regiments of the Household Division will mark King Charles ' official birthday. Members of the Firm will also make a long-anticipated balcony appearance as they do every year for the RAF flypast. In 2023, "for the first time in his life", Prince Harry was not invited to attend and, with only working royals expected to put in an appearance at this year's Trooping the Colour, it's believed there the King's youngest son and daughter-in-law will be notably absent once again. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, who is currently fifth in the line of succession to the British throne, famously stepped down from official duties alongside his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex in January 2020. Since then, there has been much speculation ahead of all official royal events as to whether the couple will be in attendance. Richard Eden, palace Confidential broadcaster and diary columnist at Daily Mail, said in a television appearance in 2023:"[This is] the first year of his life that Harry hasn't been invited at all. With Harry and Meghan, we've always had a sort of 'will they, won't they' before every big royal occasion. "Well, it seems like the palace has tackled this this time by just not inviting them at all. So, you know, it's significant. "When Harry and Meghan quit royal duties, I think officials were very keen to stress that they would still be invited to occasions such as Trooping the Colour so the fact they haven't been invited is very significant." A snippet of the interview was shared on the popular social media platform TikTok, where Royal enthusiasts were keen to share their thoughts. One person claimed: "Easier not to invite... too many demands and stipulations" while another said: "Tired of headlines WILL THEY COME? Now we don't have to wonder! Great decision, Palace!!" A third said: "First time for everything" while someone else theorised: "I don't think he would attend anyway." Another person commented: "Which part don't you people understand? [They're] not working royals and they walked out of the circus. Leave them alone, it's not like they were gonna come [either]." It has not been confirmed as yet by Buckingham Palace which royals will appear on the balcony for the RAF flypast - a much loved element of Trooping the Colour - but it's expected that only working royals will be in attendance, which would rule Harry and Meghan out. Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, have been together for nine years. The couple said they were set up with one another on a blind date by a mutual friend in July of 2016. Their relationship was made public in November of that year, and their engagement was confirmed 12 months later on November 27, 2017 by King Charles III, who was then the Prince of Wales. They were married on Saturday, May 19 2018 in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. The couple share two children together, Prince Archie Harrison and Princess Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

I've seen signs of how stressed Harry is recently – he's killed any chance of reconciliation with King, expert says
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A ROYAL expert says Prince Harry seems "down and sad" having killed any change of mending bridges with his father. Last month, the royal launched into an astonishing rant on the BBC after losing his legal challenge to get back his tax-payer funded security. King Charles was said to be "frustrated and upset" by his son's tirade. Renowned royal photographer Arthur Edwards told the Royal Exclusive Show that Harry looked "so sad" in the interview. He told The Sun's Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson that Harry "doesn't seem to be having a real role now" as Meghan delves into her various business ventures. He said: "And I keep thinking back to that video he made when he lost the court case. And he looked so sad in that, so really down and not upbeat like he was normally. "I feel somehow he's having probably second thoughts. All he wanted to do was reconcile with his father. "The thing is, if he'd only said sorry on that interview, 'sorry, Pop, you know, I do want to see you' - I think that might have had a different [effect]. "But in many ways, it was coming from his heart, I thought. His father is not well, he's concerned - it's his father." "I did feel that was a change in his attitude. I mean, I haven't seen anything in five years. and then suddenly he comes out with that. "I thought he looked so sad, you know, so sad." The Sun's Royal Editor called Harry's interview "one of their biggest mistakes" and said "it came from a place of anger". Prince Harry's biggest bombshells: The Royal gave the extraordinary interview after losing his appeal against the decision to remove his taxpayer-funded security. In a fresh scathing attack, the Duke of Sussex unleashed a host of new claims including how dad Charles is no longer speaking to him and how he's "uncovered his worst fears". The Duke of Sussex said he would "love reconciliation" with the royal family. This comes after years of feuding with the family, including his own brother Prince William. The feud between the Duke and his family started when he and Meghan Markle announced on January 8, 2020, that they would be stepping down as 'senior' members of the Royal Family. A tragic revelation in the bombshell interview was when Prince Harry revealed that his father, King Charles, won't speak to him. Harry said when making the emotional admission: "He won't speak to me because of this security stuff." Harry and William are also said to be barely on speaking terms. William was reportedly 'blindsided' by Harry's decision to ditch his duties to live in his Montecito mansion with Meghan and the pair have yet to make amends. Another blow to the Royal relationships struck when Harry released his memoir Spare in 2023. Harry didn't hold back in the controversial book which caused a deeper chasm between him and his brother. In the bombshell memoir, he detailed Megxit and how the Royal family brand Meghan "difficult" and "rude." He slammed Queen Camilla as a villain and was highly criticised for outing his family for cash. The Duke of Sussex chillingly suggested it would be the Firm's fault if anything happened to him or wife Meghan Markle. He said he misses the UK and it is "sad" that he won't be able to show his children his homeland. A Palace Spokesperson said at the time: "All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion." 6 Harry is occasionally spotted in some of his wife's adventures - but experts say he seems lost and doesn't know what his role is anymore Credit: Not known, clear with picture desk 6 Harry and William are also said to be barely on speaking terms Credit: AFP 6 The Royal Family has been torn in two over the Megxit rift Credit: AFP
