Australian appointed as Sabah FC head coach
KOTA KINABALU (Aug 13): Sabah FC announced the appointment of Jean-Paul de Marigny as a Head Coach of The Rhinos for the 2025/2026 Malaysia League season effective on Wednesday.
Sabah FC in a statement here said Jean-Paul from Australia has an extensive experience in the Australian League with Western Sydney Wanderers, Newcastle Jets and Melbourne Victory as League Champions in 2014/15 and 2017/18 season.
Jean-Paul has also been involved in various age groups for Australian national teams, most recently as Assistant Coach to Brad Maloney for the Australian Under-17 National Team.
Sabah FC finished third in Super League 2024/2025 season collecting 40 points, with Martin Stano from Slovakia as head coach.

KUALA Lumpur City FC head coach Risto Vidakovic described his team's 1-1 draw against Sabah FC as a tough result to accept after conceding a late equaliser.
