Vivo T4R 5G expected specifications
The MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor is anticipated to power the Vivo T4R 5G. According to industry reports, it will have IP68 and IP69 classifications, which indicate that it is dust and water resistant. In comparison to certain earlier models, this represents an improvement in durability.
Given that the Vivo T4R 5G is only 7.39 mm thick, its very thin build is its most striking characteristic.
According to fresh market data from Counterpoint (Q1 2025), Vivo is selling it as the thinnest quad-curved display smartphone in India. Its small profile, curved form, and simple, flat camera module at the back are highlighted by a new promotional banner.
In contrast, the Vivo T4 5G boasts a massive 7,300 mAh battery with 90 W rapid charging and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 engine. It has a dual rear camera configuration with a 32 MP front selfie camera and a 50 MP rear sensor.
It also has a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen.
On the other hand, the Vivo T4x 5G has a smaller 6,500 mAh battery, the Dimensity 7300 processor, and 44 W charging capabilities. It has an 8 MP front camera and a nearly identical camera configuration. It also has a 6.72-inch full-HD+ screen with a capability for a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Vivo T4R 5G expected price
However, the Vivo T4R 5G is expected to cost between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000, based on leaks and rumors. The Vivo T4x 5G and the Vivo T4 5G, which have base costs of Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 21,999, respectively, would be in between the future device's price range. This implies that Vivo wants to use the T4R to satisfy a mid-range market.

Delhi government proposes boost to hospitality sector in draft industrial policy
NEW DELHI: In a bid to position Delhi as a global hub for business and leisure tourism, the Delhi government's draft Industrial Policy 2025-35 has proposed targeted interventions to strengthen the city's hospitality sector. These include increasing hotel room availability near key locations in the national capital like ITPO at Pragati Maidan and Yashobhoomi in Dwarka. The draft, released for public feedback by the Industries Department, identifies three focus sectors including Frontier tech services, research & development and hospitality (excluding tourism), that are expected to drive the capital's economic growth while addressing land scarcity and sustainability concerns. To support Frontier tech services such as AI, Big Data, Gaming, Biotech, and IT & ITeS, the government has proposed major fiscal incentives. These include 50% capital investment reimbursement (up to Rs 50 crore), 6% annual interest subsidy for five years, full reimbursement of patent filing costs up to Rs 5 lakh per patent and a Rs 400 crore venture capital fund. Additionally, a 100% NET SGST reimbursement for five years and a 50% exemption on interstate power wheeling and transmission charges are proposed. The policy acknowledges the space crunch in commercial real estate and proposes developing Plug & Play IT Parks and Global Capability Centres in Baprola, Ranikhera, and Kanjhawala through PPP models. It also plans to ease regulatory norms to make Delhi more conducive to restaurants and nightlife by streamlining compliance and adopting a 'reasonable' alcohol policy.

Apple iPhone Fold Launch Will Need Samsung's Help: What It Means
The iPhone Fold launch from Apple is widely expected in 2026 and Samsung is going to be a part of how the new product turns out Apple's first iPhone foldable version will be heavily relying on its rivals to come through unscathed. The company is going to need external help to make its first product in the segment, and that help could be from Samsung. According to Bloomberg, Samsung is going to offer the foldable display and other parts that will form a core part of the iPhone foldable version. The report also points out that Apple might have to go along with the existing foldable formula, which means the iPhone Fold could be similar to the design of the Galaxy Z Fold series from Samsung. Apple's Fold, Courtesy Samsung Samsung started the foldable market with the Z Fold model and it has the backend support to make these devices. Apple has relied on the company for displays over the years and the report says its iPhone Fold model will also have the same template. The report says Apple could use the hinge mechanism developed by Samsung that promises a near-creaseless screen, something that Apple would demand even for its first-gen product. Samsung is rumoured to be developing the screen exclusively for Apple's first foldable smartphone with UTG Lens technology. It's most likely a variant of the ultra-thin glass (UTG) that Samsung utilises in its bendable goods. The iPhone Fold model is expected to launch by the end of 2026 and its design could be fairly similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Fold 8 version. Apple is likely to price its first foldable model over $2,000 (Rs 1,72,500 approx) which could be easily as high as Rs 2 lakh in markets like India because of cost and duty differences. Friendly Rivalry? While Apple will seek assistance from its rivals on the hardware side, the OS aspect of the iPhone Fold will be tuned to run on the devices, something we could hear more about with the iOS 27 version that releases next year. According to reports, Apple's first foldable is said to be a book-style folding device, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and might have a 12-inch inner screen with two rear cameras. In terms of dimensions, it could come with 9.2mm in thickness when folded and 4.6mm when unfolded. view comments First Published: July 22, 2025, 12:35 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
