Tottenham ‘consider astonishing new Eze transfer bid that would see Richarlison move on and Newcastle MISS OUT on Wissa'

No Eze feat Tottenham 'consider astonishing new Eze transfer bid that would see Richarlison move on and Newcastle MISS OUT on Wissa' Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) TOTTENHAM are reportedly considering a stunning 11th hour change to their transfer offer for Eberechi Eze, which would allow them to also sign Yoane Wissa. SunSport understand Spurs and Crystal Palace are nearing a breakthrough with a deal in the region of £60million close to being agreed. 2 Eberechi Eze is close to signing for Tottenham Credit: Reuters 2 But in a stunning twist reports suggest the club could change the deal to try and land Yoane Wissa Credit: Rex The main issue to overcome is an agreement in payment conditions. However, the Daily Mail now suggest the North Londoners have made a late alteration by offering to send Richarlison to Selhurst Park in a part-exchange. If the Eagles were to agree to this cash-plus-player deal, Spurs would then move to sign wantaway Brentford star Wissa. The 28-year-old has been the subject of heavy interest from Newcastle this summer. Earlier today the Magpies submitted an improved £40m bid to sign Wissa. However, the bid was quickly shot down by Brentford, who value the striker at a minimum of £50m. The move comes as a real surprise, particularly given Richarlison scored twice in the 3-0 win over Burnley at the weekend. Whether this audacious deal comes to fruition is likely to depend on the exit of the Brazilian. The report adds Spurs need to free up attacking space to add Wissa, who played under Thomas Frank at Brentford, scoring 19 goals in the Premier League last season. THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY.. Newcastle fans let Alexander Isak know how they feel as wantaway striker arrives for training

Alexander Isak was given a hostile reception by angry Newcastle supporters, who had waited for him outside the club's training ground, following an escalation in his transfer saga Alexander Isak felt the fury of Newcastle United supporters on Wednesday after he upped the stakes in his desperate attempt to force through a transfer to Liverpool. ‌ Isak broke his silence on Tuesday by releasing a provocative statement which accused his employers of breaking promises over a transfer. The Swedish striker is refusing to play for the Magpies and finds himself in exile, training alone, with 10 days remaining in the summer transfer window. ‌ Newcastle have rejected a £110million bid from Liverpool and are hoping he can be reintegrated into the group, despite the huge escalation of the situation. But while the club still believe Isak can stay and score more goals for Eddie Howe's side, it is clear that some fans have a different point of view. ‌ A video released on social media on Wednesday showed Isak being verbally attacked by angry supporters as he drove into the training ground. Some could be heard branding him a "rat" and calling him a "greedy b******" as he turned his 4x4 into the gates. After being named in the PFA Team of the Season, Isak made it clear on Tuesday that he won't consider playing for Newcastle again. The 25-year-old believes he has been wronged by the club, who are standing in the way of his dream move to the defending Premier League champions. "I've kept quiet for a long time while others have spoken," he wrote. "That silence has allowed people to push their own version of events, even though they know it doesn't reflect what was really said and agreed behind closed doors. "The reality is that promises were made and the club has known my position for a long time. To now act as if these issues are only emerging is misleading. "When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship can't continue. That's where things are for me right now - and why change is in the best interests of everyone, not just myself." ‌ Newcastle then responded in their own statement, which read: "We are disappointed to have been alerted to a social media post by Alexander Isak this evening. "We are clear in response that Alex remains under contract and that no commitment has ever been made by a club official that Alex can leave Newcastle United this summer. ‌ "We want to keep our best players, but we also understand players have their own wishes and we listen to their views. As explained to Alex and his representatives, we must always take into consideration the best interests of Newcastle United, the team and our supporters in all decisions and we have been clear that the conditions of a sale this summer have not transpired. "We do not foresee those conditions being met. This is a proud football club with proud traditions and we strive to retain our family feel. Alex remains part of our family and will be welcomed back when he is ready to rejoin his teammates."
