PEACOCK TO DEBUT PARALYMPICS DOCUMENTARY SERIES ‘ADAPTIVE' ON JULY 28

Los Angeles, CA – July 10, 2025 – Peacock today announced that the new sports documentary series ADAPTIVE will debut exclusively on the streaming service July 28, 2025. The series will additionally be available to view on TeamUSA TV. ADAPTIVE is an intimate and in-depth look into the lives of world-class Paralympic athletes. This inaugural season captures the journey from the Tokyo 2020 to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games of four Team USA Paralympians – Ezra Frech (Para track & field), Jamal Hill (Para swimming), Courtney Ryan (Wheelchair basketball), and Josie Aslakson (Wheelchair basketball).
ADAPTIVE is presented by DICK'S Sporting Goods, in partnership with NBC Sports. The three-episode series is produced by new shingle Vitium Productions, with production partners Far Between Pictures, Cookie Jar & A Dream Studios (a DICK'S Sporting Goods company and award-winning TFA Group, which released the documentary film Watershed on Peacock during the Paris 2024 Games. ADAPTIVE was produced with the support of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee. ADAPTIVE is directed by award-winning documentary filmmaker Ryan S. Porush (A School Grown in Watts, The Passengers) and produced by Clayton Frech, Jay Snyder, Colin Weatherby, Ryan Suffern, and Christopher Stoudt. Connor Zilisch falls celebrating win: NASCAR driver says he broke collarbone
Connor Zilisch took the checkered flag Saturday in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Watkins Glen, but his celebration was short-lived after he took a nasty fall that landed him in an ambulance. Zilisch had climbed out of his car and had his right foot on the roof and the left on the window when he appeared to slip, his feet getting caught in the netting and sending his head hurtling toward the ground. He hit the pavement hard and did not immediately move. He was placed on a backboard and eventually loaded into an ambulance. The CW broadcast said Zilisch was speaking with medical personnel. NBC Sports' Dustin Long said Zilisch sat up in the ambulance, which was taking him to the infield care center. Connor Zilisch took a scary fall from his vehicle and the CW broadcast immediately cut to commercial. The broadcast later reported he was alert and speaking to medical officials and was being taken to the medical center. Connor Zilisch injury update NASCAR said Zilisch was "transported to a local hospital for further evaluation" and added that he was "awake and alert." JR Motorsports provided another update later Saturday, saying Zilisch had been released from the hospital. Zilisch, 19, took to social media himself a few minutes after JR Motorsports' announcement.
