Her post was then flooded with comments, with the majority of people raving over the budget buy. How to keep cool in hot weather Most of us welcome hot weather, but when it's too hot, there are health risks. Here are three ways to keep cool according to the NHS... Keep out of the heat if you can. If you have to go outside, stay in the shade especially between 11am and 3pm, wear sunscreen, a hat and light clothes, and avoid exercise or activity that makes you hotter. Cool yourself down. Have cold food and drinks, avoid alcohol, caffeine and hot drinks, and have a cool shower or put cool water on your skin or clothes. Keep your living space cool. Close windows during the day and open them at night when the temperature outside has gone down. Electric fans can help if the temperature is below 35 degrees. Check the temperature of rooms, especially where people at higher risk live and sleep. "Got ours last year, really good!" one wrote. "Brilliant, you don't need to turn it up high for it to be really effective," another added. Aldi is also selling a Dyson dupe, with its Ambiano Bladeless Fan currently priced at £39.99. The modern design bladeless fan has three speed settings, high, medium, low, plus three modes: normal, nature and sleep. You can customise your sleep with the various modes and tailor it to your own temperature needs during the day - and most importantly, for a good night's sleep at bedtime. Plus, with its bladeless design, it's safe around little people or pets.

Samsung fans rush to get £23 a month S24 mobile - £259 worth of freebies
Shoppers can earn cashback and get a pair of Galaxy Buds3 - here's how Along with the likes of Apple iPhones and Google Pixels, Samsung phone are often considered to be one of the best quality around, however paying hundreds up may not suit all shoppers. This is where Galaxy fans can now split the cost into smaller monthly payments and get freebies worth £259 ontop. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is now £23 a month at Sky, on a 36-month contract, but it comes with two huge freebies. The network provider is handing out £100 cashback and a pair of Galaxy Buds3 worth £159 to shoppers. As part of Samsung's cashback sale, the£100 cashback is offered until June 24, 2025 and the free Buds3 offer ends the following day on June 25, 2025. Samsung's S24 FE has 128GB of space and is offered in mint, blue, graphite and yellow colours. It features 'Photo Assist', an AI-powered tool that offers suggestions on how to instantly enhance photos, and 'Generative Edit', which moves, deletes or resizes objects in images. The screen size is 6.7 inches, and a triple camera on the rear. The phone is also water and dust resistant (up to IP68). On the Samsung S24 FE's camera performance, tech writer Chris Hall says: "When it comes to the cameras, you have a 50-megapixel main camera, with an ultrawide and telephoto lens on the back with 3x optical zoom. "That's the complete package, and while it's not as good as a flagship phone, you're well catered for. The day-to-day experience is much the same, with the same One UI software and Galaxy AI features." Sky isn't the only retailer offering freebies on the Samsung S24 FE. On Amazon, shoppers can buy the handset outright for £598 and claim a free Galaxy Watch 7 and cashback (amount not specified). Meanwhile, Samsung is also selling the phone outright on its official website for £649, although there aren't any freebies thrown in. On the overall performance of the Samsung S24 FE, Chris continues: "The great thing about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is that you get an experience that's really close to the Galaxy S24+. "The Galaxy S24 FE isn't quite as slim and a little heavier, but it has the same size display, which is AMOLED, but at a slightly lower resolution." He also notes a drawback: "It's not quite as powerful and the battery is a little smaller, but it's more affordable, and that's the point." Over at GiffGaff, shoppers can choose monthly contracts for Samsung's S24 FE, starting from £18.03 (36-month contract), with an upfront cost of £20.
