ILIA TOPURIA has seemingly performed yet another U-turn on Paddy Pimblett.
The pair almost came to blows at the UFC London fighter hotel in March 2022 after Topuria confronted the submission specialist over comments he made about his fellow Georgians.

A public war of words has played out over the last three years, although the duo seemingly put their differences aside with a brief embrace at the most recent UFC London weigh-ins.
But Topuria, who fights for the vacant lightweight title at UFC 317 next weekend, insists he still has immense disdain for 'The Baddy'.
The 28-year-old said of Pimblett in an interview with ESPN Deportes: 'He's a hypocrite.
"I'll tell you, I remember we shared a press conference once, and he said something like, 'I'm fighting in the main card, and you're on the prelims,' some kind of nonsense.

"And now I'm thinking, I have two belts. Where are you?
"Who the f**k is Paddy Pimblett right now and why would he deserve to fight me right now?"
Former featherweight king Topuria has already earmarked Pimblett, who picked up the biggest win of his career against Michael Chandler in April, as his next opponent.
He said: "Honestly, if I could choose a fight, I would fight him because I hate him. He's a pain in the ass.

"I'd love to give that fight to the fans, because for a long time, I believe that in the UFC, you haven't seen a real fight.

Ilia Topuria Trains For UFC 317 Clash With Charles Oliveira
"I know what's going to happen, and it won't be good for him."
Topuria has the small matter of beating former 155lbs titleholder and fan favourite Charles Oliveira before he can think about settling the score with Pimblett.
But 'El Matador' believes he'll make light work of the Brazilian, saying: "Charles is a great fighter.
"I'd say he's a legendary fighter, one of the few still active in the UFC.
"But the truth is that his style fits perfectly with mine to put him to sleep in the first round.
"Because he has no mobility, he doesn't move."

Lando Norris to have showdown McLaren meeting after Oscar Piastri crash

Lando Norris collided with team-mate Oscar Piastri as they fought for fourth place in the closing laps of Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix and the Brit has accepted full responsibility for a coming together Lando Norris has been warned to expect 'tough conversations' by McLaren – after team principal Andrea Stella conceded the British driver's confidence will have been dented by his crash with Oscar Piastri. Norris collided with team-mate Piastri as they fought for fourth place in the closing laps of Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix. Norris accepted full responsibility for a coming together he said made him look foolish and leaves him 22 points behind Piastri in the battle for the drivers' title. Norris retired from the race while Piastri was able to take the chequered flag. ‌ 'This may have an impact in terms of his confidence,' said Stella. 'We will have conversations, and the conversations may even be tough, but there's no doubt over the support we give to Lando and over the fact that we will preserve our parity and equality in terms of how we go racing at McLaren between our two drivers. ‌ 'The situation would have been different if Lando did not take responsibility and apologise. Lando will have to show his character to overcome this kind of episode and make sure that he only takes the learnings to become a stronger driver.' Norris was already on the backfoot heading into Sunday's race following two mistakes in qualifying which left him seventh on the grid. He drove well to bring himself back into contention only to misjudge the move on Piastri which again raises questions over his credentials as a legitimate championship contender. Nico Rosberg, who competed against Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes for three seasons – eventually beating the British driver to the world title in what would prove his final act in the sport in 2016 – believes Norris is facing a dark period. Reflecting on his own mental battles as he duelled for the title, Rosberg told Sky Sports: 'It becomes a little bit traumatic because you start spiralling negatively down and down, and you get this repetition of, 'I'm making mistakes, and I'm not good enough,' and it starts to get to you in your head. ‌ 'It can get really dark, and I've been through this, especially when you make a mistake like today where everybody can see it, you even hit your team-mate, so your whole team is thinking, 'What's going on?' It will be difficult for Lando to get back out of that.' Norris will be back in action a week on Sunday in Austria for the 11th round of 24. But despite his latest setback, he said: 'There are plenty more races left. I don't expect to catch Oscar easily. I have to work hard for it and make less mistakes than I did this weekend.'

UFC fighter breaks his silence on bizarre moment he 'QUIT' during fight against Paul Craig as he hits back at fans after a torrent of abuse on social media

Rodolfo Bellato has spoken out after accusations from fans that he allegedly pretended to be knocked out at UFC Atlanta on Saturday. Bellato was fighting Scotland's Paul Craig only for the bout to be labelled a no-contest following an illegal kick by the Scot. Once the kick landed, Bellato's strange behaviour prompted criticism. As he fell to the canvass, he was complaining to the referee. Once on the floor, he appeared knocked out only to quickly regain consciousness. As the referee attempted to explain to him that the fight was over due to the illegal kick, Bellato bizarrely tried to wrestle the official. Plenty of fans took to social media to accuse Bellato of dramatising the extent of the damage in a bid to get Craig disqualified. Paul Craig vs. Rodolfo Bellato has been ruled a no contest. #UFCAtlanta | LIVE on TNT Sports & discovery+ — UFC on TNT Sports (@ufcontnt) June 15, 2025 'Anyone who knows me the longest knows I would NEVER do this' said Bellato on Instagram 'Anyone who's known me the longest knows I would NEVER do this, I've never run from war,' said Bellato on Instagram. 'I saw some things on the internet, saying I was an actor there and stuff... 'The moment I was on the ground, I didn't expect to get kicked in the face (illegally)..'I saw some things on the internet, saying I was an actor there and stuff...'I saw some things on the internet, saying I was an actor there and stuff... 'It was a strong kick, when I looked at the judge to complain, my whole body began to tingle and my vision disappeared.. 'After that I don't remember anything. 'Why would I fake something after all I been through and on top of that winning the first round? 'I thank all the real ones for the positive messages. God is in charge.' Speaking after the fight, Craig acknowledged that his upkick was illegal and refused to humour the allegations against Bellato.

UFC 317: Ilia Topuria vs Charles Oliveira start time, fight card and how to watch

Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira will clash in one of the biggest MMA fights of the year this month, as they vie for the vacant lightweight title in the main event of UFC 317. When Topuria vacated the featherweight belt in February, he immediately set his sights on the lightweight strap, which was soon relinquished by pound-for-pound king Islam Makhachev – who is similarly eyeing a title shot at a higher weight. While Makhachev vs Topuria would have been one of the most fascinating fights in the sport, Topuria vs Oliveira is a strong consolation. The Spanish-Georgian is unbeaten, while Brazil's Oliveira is a former 155lb champion and holds the records for the most finishes and submissions in UFC history. Furthermore, Topuria enters Las Vegas on the back of two straight knockouts of featherweight greats – Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway – while Oliveira dominated Michael Chandler to earn this shot at a second run with the lightweight belt. And in the co-main event of UFC 317, imperious flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja looks to extend his reign as he faces a dangerous striker in Kai Kara-France, whom he outpointed in an Ultimate Fighter bout in 2016. Here's all you need to know. When is UFC 317? UFC 317 will take place on Saturday 28 June at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The early prelims are scheduled to begin at 11pm BST (3pm PT / 5pm CT / 6pm ET), with the regular prelims following at 1am BST on Sunday (5pm PT / 7pm CT / 8pm ET on Saturday). The main card is then due at 3am BST on Sunday (7pm PT / 9pm CT / 10pm ET on Saturday). How can I watch it? The card will air live on TNT Sports in the UK, with the broadcaster's app and website also streaming the fights. Discovery+ will also air the action in the UK. In the US, ESPN+ will stream the event live, as will the UFC's Fight Pass. Odds Topuria – 1/4; Oliveira – 3/1 Pantoja – 2/5; Kara-France – 2/1 Via Betway. .
