Cloudy sky with light rain predicted for Delhi on Sunday
Delhi on Saturday recorded a maximum temperature of 33.7 degrees Celsius, 1.1 degrees below the season's average, the IMD said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.7 degrees Celsius, 1.4 notches below the season's average.
The relative humidity was recorded at 90 per cent at 5.30 pm on Saturday.
Delhi's air quality was recorded in the 'satisfactory" category at 6 pm on Saturday, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 84, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showed.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor' and 401 and 500 'severe'. PTI SSM ANM ANM KSS KSS

Fresh low pressure area may trigger increase in rain: IMD
1 2 Bhubaneswar: A fresh low pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal around Aug 13 which might lead to increase in rainfall in the state, IMD said on Friday. For the next three-four days, rainfall would continue at many places in the state, the IMD forecast said. Manorama Mohanty, head of the regional IMD centre here, said rainfall would increase in the state from Aug 12. On Saturday, rain would continue at many places, with heavy rainfall warning issued for Gajapati and Ganjam districts. Light to moderate rainfall occurred in many places in the state during the last 24 hours. Aska in Ganjam district received highest 97mm of rainfall during the period. The overall cumulative rainfall, from June till Friday, was 2% less than normal, the IMD report said. A district-wise comparison shows 9 out of 30 districts have deficit rainfall, ranging from 40% to 21%. Besides 17 districts received normal rain and 4 saw excess rainfall. Puri and Gajapati each recorded highest 40% rainfall deficit followed by Rayagada (33%) and Kalahandi (32%). Other districts with deficit rainfall are Ganjam (28%), Khurda (25%), Balangir and Nabarangpur (23% each) and Nuapada (21%). Lack of rain has led farmers to worry about agricultural activities, even as scientists said rainfall did not cause major damage so far, except in some pockets.
