Miley Cyrus Appears To Shade Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus Appears To Shade Liam Hemsworth

Buzz Feeda day ago

It looks like Miley Cyrus isn't quite done shading Liam Hemsworth.
As I'm sure you're aware, Miley and Liam have a pretty messy history. The pair were together on and off for over a decade, getting engaged twice before marrying in 2018 — and less than a year later, they split for good.
Last year, Miley appeared to reference Liam throughout her now-Grammy-winning hit 'Flowers,' which was released on his birthday. She sang, 'I didn't wanna leave you / I didn't wanna fight / Started to cry, but then remembered I / I can buy myself flowers,' and, 'I can take myself dancing / I can hold my own hand / Yeah, I can love me better than / Yeah, I can love me better than you can.'
When Miley performed the hit song at the Grammys last February, she notably threw in a couple of pointed ad-libs: 'I didn't want to leave you / But I had to / I didn't want to fight / But we did.' As a result, plenty of fans theorized that Miley was not-so-subtly making a jab at her ex.
Fast forward to now, and Miley has seemingly shaded Liam once again.
During a recent meet and greet, Miley was reportedly approached by a fan named Liam who asked her to sign a vinyl copy of her latest album, Something Beautiful. The fan later shared a picture of the signed vinyl online, with the words 'the best Liam' written in the top corner.
Internet users found the subtle dig hilarious, calling Miley 'the most unserious woman ever' and 'iconic.' 'I just love to see her in her live laugh love yourself era. May she keep thriving!' one user said. 'GOD I missed this shady Miley so much…' someone else wrote.

Miley Cyrus Pays Homage to Madonna With Her Latest Vintage Flex

Two-and-a-half years before Miley Cyrus was born, Madonna was in the throes of her Blond Ambition tour, hitting the stage around the world in the now-iconic Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra. Now, 35 years later, Cyrus is celebrating the release of her latest album, Something Beautiful, in Madge's image. Last night, Cyrus wore a chocolate brown dress from Gaultier's fall 1990 collection. Like Madonna's Blond Ambition look, it featured the same lace-up corsetry throughout the front, sides, and along the hips—though the embroidered cups on Cyrus's dress were far less exaggerated than Madonna's poke-an-eye-out bust. And while Madge wore her corset with fishnets and a pair of panties, Cyrus's look featured a midi-length fringe skirt. Styled by Bradley Kenneth, she paired the piece of prized vintage with a pair of pointy-toe pumps secured with an ankle strap. The duo shared the stage in 2014 during Cyrus's special for MTV's Unplugged, where they performed a mash-up of Madonna's 'Don't Tell Me' and Cyrus's 'We Can't Stop.' In 2022, Cyrus covered 'Like a Prayer.' While Miley Cyrus has worn no shortage of major vintage surrounding her Something Beautiful release–from Mugler to Roberto Cavalli—this Jean Paul Gaultier isn't only a major flex, but an homage to the pop stars who came before her.

Why the TV Community Is 'Curious, but Not Yet Committed' Outstanding Animated Program Commentary (Updated: June 5, 2025): After seven acclaimed seasons and more than 50 Emmy nominations, 'Big Mouth' could finally claim the trophy for Outstanding Animated Program with its eighth and final installment. Since its 2017 debut on Netflix, the irreverent adult comedy has pushed boundaries with its bold mix of raunchy humor and heartfelt exploration of puberty, identity and growing up. With Maya Rudolph already a four-time Emmy winner for her role as Connie the Hormone Monstress and a voice cast that includes 222 star-studded guests, the show has become a cultural force in animation. Nick Kroll has also been making the rounds, giving heartfelt interviews that have garnered headlines and increased awareness for the show. Netflix is also juggling the former winner, 'Arcane,' and the new series 'Devil May Cry,' which could also break through and dominate the category. The last time a network or studio picked up three nominations in this category in the same year was 2012 — Fox's 'American Dad!,' 'Bob's Burgers,' and 'The Simpsons' — which all lost to Nickelodeon's 'The Penguins of Madagascar.' Speaking of Fox, they'll have the record-breaking 'The Simpsons' in the mix, which holds the record for most nominations (33) and wins (12) in this category, that could come in and take it home once more. There's also a pathway for Paramount's 'Star Trek: Lower Decks' to also nab a spot, which has been close on a few times, but hasn't received recognition yet. The Emmys eligibility period ends on May 31. Nomination voting runs from June 12 to June 23, with official nominations set to be announced July 15.
