Rising star Greta Levska launches her debut album after drawing inspiration from four decades of electronic music

The Sun20-06-2025
AS one of the most exciting new voices in the electro scene, Greta Levska is reshaping the sound of the dance floor - past, present and future.
With her debut album IBZALIEN landing this month on the ever-eclectic, Berlin label Get Physical, Greta draws inspiration from four decades of electronic music and filters it through her own vibrant, genre-blurring lens.

From the 80s hip-hop flair of first single Moulin Krew to the Fairlight CMI-fuelled bounce of her latest dancefloor heater Initialize, IBZALIEN is a masterclass in futuristic nostalgia.
Greta offers a deeper look into her sonic world with an exclusive playlist for The Night Bazaar, featuring her own productions alongside club ready gems from artists like Rex The Dog, Raxon, Cour T, and Egyptian Lover.
It's a collection steeped in raw energy, funky grooves and playful synth work and is the perfect soundtrack for a Mediterranean summer or a late-night session on a packed Ibiza dancefloor.
Take a listen below and read what Greta had to about the music.
Greta Levska plays 528 Ibiza with Maceo Plex for the Brunch Electronik Opening Party on Sunday 13th July. Book that trip, you won't regret it.
Greta Levska IBZALIEN is out now on Get Physical.
Greta Levska - Moulin Krew (Get Physical)
The first single taken from my debut album on Get Physical, Moulin Krew, an 80s Bboy, funk filled track that always lights up the mood. I played this for the first time at my Pikes residency in Ibiza & I can just remember the room starting to really vibe with it.
A re-release from Rex The Dog, a weapon that first dropped in 2004 & now still sounding just as fresh on the new Kompakt 500 compilation. I've been a massive fan of Rex for years, playing his music all over from my Amnesia residency, to warehouses across Germany. This one feels extra special, it has a blend of acid house, electro & uplifting synths which brings influences of Italo Disco, what a combination.
Raxon - Future (Greta Levska Remix) [DSK Records]
I had a wicked time remixing my incredibly talented friend Raxon. After playing together across Europe over the past 2 years multiple times, we share a great connection in musical styles & become great friends. It's a pleasure to have been asked to be part of his album remix package alongside Michael Mayor, Roman Flugel, NO_IP and more. With the remix, I wanted to bring something that would be reminiscent of our time on the road together, packing the feeling we have been lucky enough to share into 1 track.
Dynamite track from Cour T. I first played this in Barcelona at a club called Red 58 for an amazing all female line up curated by the wonderful Electronik Delight party. I'm personally a big fan of glitchy sounding synths & I love how this one EQ's in and out to take its moments while also giving space for the commanding vocals 'Set this place on fire'.
Tom Bug & Grooveline - Flush (REKD)
Love this collaboration between 2 wicked artists. Old school UK rave flavour all over this one with that huge synth line & vocal talking back and forth with each other - can see this going off at any festival this summer.
After meeting Dino Lenny at Hi Ibiza & catching his set with Damian Lazarus, I was blown away by the music he was playing so the first thing I did the next day was go check out his tunes. 'Dont Mess With The Chemistry' was the first track I clicked of his & it teleported me back to the club room where I had danced to it & tried to shazam it the night before. Absolute belter.
Goes without saying, Wrecks records as a label are permanent invaders of my rekordbox. I absolutely love the latest release that comes from the amazing Kwake. Such a distinct sound to his production & includes all the things I love about a real raw dance floor focused club track where the chunky bass line fully cuts through.
Gypsy Mitchell - Movin (Egyptian Lover Dub) (Modulor)
Probably one of my favourite producers & that is responsible for one of my favourite electro tracks of all time 'Egypt, Egypt', Egyptian Lover has delivered for over 20 years pioneering the scene into what it is today.
Always bringing a sleezy funky vocoder vibe, I love this Dub of Gypsy Mitchell and as a producer, I know how hard it is to make something sound 'simple' and not over cook a track. This just has a groove, big 808 business!
Fast becoming one of my go to labels, Phantasy is up there with the best of them & this track from Wallace 'Cravings' has it all. The vocal is so hypnotising, I kind of feel like it puts me in a certain mysterious mood every time I play it.
I have to thank John Digweed for introducing this track to me. I first heard it on his amazing Transitions radio show and have since played it out at many of my shows. I can see this being a track that lives in my sets all summer long.

Tasha Ghouri sets pulses racing as she shares series of racy bikini pics from her 'Italian summer'

Tasha Ghouri set pulses racing on Sunday as she shared a series of racy bikini pics from her 'Italian summer'. The Love Island alumni - who has just turned 27 - spent last week partying in Barcelona for her birthday, as she welcomed in her next chapter after quitting Channel 4 's Celeb SAS. It was filmed last year but aired on screens in recent weeks, with stars such as presenter Chloe Burrows and dancer Louis Spence also dropping out. After catching a flight from Spain to Italy, Tasha has been enjoying the sunshine following a few days of celebrations. She was glowing in her latest Instagram post as she showed off her natural tan in her swimwear. The reality star went make-up free for the photos, embracing her natural features as she let her hair down. She had a large glass of Whispering Angel wine in her hand as she posed for some stunning selfies, which included gorgeous scenery from the idyllic getaway in what appeared to be dreamy Sorrento. Other snaps showed Tasha tucking into a bowl of mouth-watering pasta, as well as views of the city. Her holiday seemed to be a mixture of relaxation, yummy food and plenty of wine. Tasha has recently been at the centre of headlines after Daily Mail revealed that her new boyfriend Cam was in a long-term relationship just weeks before going public with the Strictly star. The TV personality celebrated her birthday on Monday after a turbulent year - from splitting from ex Andrew Le Page - to dating new man Cam. She appeared to have a fun trip surrounded by her nearest and dearest, confirming she flew home on Tuesday with an Instagram snap from the plane. On Instagram, alongside a series of stunning photos, Tasha reflected on the ups and downs, writing: 'Goodbye 26.. dancing my way into 27!! 'Feeling incredibly grateful for everything this past year has brought, the growth, the love, the lessons and special moments! 26 was good to me, here's to 27 and everything this next chapter holds!! Have a feeling it's going to be magical. So much love to all of you, my friends & family who have been by my side through it all, going into this year with a full heart.' Her YouTuber boyfriend Cam stars in CBBC series One Zoo Three and BBC show OZT Goes Wild alongside his brothers Ty and Aaron. His family run Hertfordshire Zoo and he is the managing director of a non-profit charity, The Big Cat Sanctuary, which rescues wild cats and protects species at risk of extinction. Cam was previously dating stunning wildlife photographer Felicity Sutton, 34, for a year and together they shared a love of animals, with pals convinced at the time that 'nothing' could break the pair up. A source told The Sun: 'It came as a surprise to everyone to see Cam with Tasha. He was so loved up with Felicity before'. 'This time last year, he was with Felicity on his birthday, and it really looked like nothing would break them, but a year on, he's in Tuscany with Tasha for his big day. Everyone is bemused. 'Felicity doesn't have any hard feelings towards him as such, and she will always cherish their time together, it's just a lot to see your ex in the limelight suddenly.' Meanwhile Tasha's ex, Andrew Le Page, launched into an explosive rant about her being on a dating app during their relationship. Andrew claimed on that Tasha was using the celebrity dating app Raya while still in a relationship with him and insisted he wanted to speak out after she had appeared on 'one too many podcasts' to speak about him. The reality star went make-up free for the photos, embracing her natural features as she let her hair down Soon after, they released a shock joint statement. In the statement shared with Daily Mail, the former couple who met on Love Island in 2022, came together to address 'hurtful comments' in a move that took place after Andrew accused Tasha of not being able to 'keep his name out of her mouth'. The exes quickly put Andrew's rant aside and came together to address the 'noise' around their relationship as Tasha admitted to 'making mistakes' during their romance. Both parties expressed their wish to 'move on' from the relationship after suffering 'judgement and cruelty' from online trolls.

Georgia Toffolo looks carefree as she shares sizzling bikini-clad snaps during sunny Marbella getaway with husband James Watt amid BrewDog founder's business woes

Georgia Toffolo flaunted her toned figure in a skimpy bikini as she relaxed at the beach while on holiday in Marbella with husband James Watt. The Made In Chelsea star, 30, took to her Instagram on Sunday to share a slew of sizzling snaps of her soaking up the sun in a tiny navy blue two-piece. Displaying her chiselled midriff and long legs, she stretched out on a deckchair with her feet in the surf to top up her bronzed glow. Georgia also slipped into a semi-sheer maxi skirt and grabbed a hand-held fan to pose for a string of stunning photos on the luxury getaway. Taking to the caption, she raved about her relaxation day and offered tips to her followers, writing: 'This and not knowing what day it is! P.S. take this as a sign to buy a beach chair like the locals have. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!!' Georgia looked utterly carefree in the snaps, despite her husband James' company being hit by another major blow. It has been revealed that BrewDog's beers have been axed by almost 2,000 pubs across Britain, as the embattled brewers' popularity continues to wane. James founded the company in 2007 by with Martin Dickie, with firm rising to prominence in the 2010s amid a surge in demand for independent beers and hoppy IPAs. However in recent years, the company's fortunes have started to turn, with their range of draught beers having disappeared entirely from around 1,860 pubs in the last two years, according to private industry data. The blow means BrewDog's UK distribution has been cut by more than a third. It also shows that its best-known beer, Punk IPA, has suffered the worst loss after being removed from 1,980 pubs – a 52 per cent decline in distribution. Pubs are now reducing their offerings or opting for rival beers such as Camden Town and Beavertown instead. The data, which was seen by the Telegraph, revealed most of the pubs scrapping BrewDog beers are part of large chains, removing a key source of revenue for the brewer at the same time as it struggles to revive its fortunes. BrewDog recorded losses of £59m in 2023 and £30.5m in 2022, with its CEO admitting in a recent interview that the company would be making another loss this year. It has been revealed that BrewDog's beers have been axed by almost 2,000 pubs across Britain, as the embattled brewers' popularity continues to wane (James pictured in BrewDog's) Last month, the company announced the closure of 10 of its own branded bars across the UK, including its flagship site in Aberdeen, after deciding they were not 'commercially viable'. And the chain had started the year by closing six pubs across the world, including two in England, three in Europe and one in England. The firm is continuing to weather accusations of an image problem after ditching its claim to be 'carbon negative' after it ditched offsetting schemes that it claimed were both too expensive and not efficient enough to justify the label. It had already been criticised for using the label by advertising watchdogs, and was slammed by environmentalists for its claim of creating a carbon-negative forest in Scotland after it was revealed that half of the 500,000 saplings had already died. BrewDog's reputation has taken a hammering in recent years after being embroiled in a number of publicity storms. The firm was accused by former workers in an open letter in 2021 of having a 'culture of fear' within the business, with 'toxic attitudes' towards junior staff, with BrewDog apologising and promising to 'listen, learn and act' James later admitted to being 'too intense and demanding' amid a workplace culture row where he was accused of inappropriate behaviour and abusing his power. Speaking with on Steven Bartlett's Diary of a CEO podcast about his leadership, he admitted to previously pushing people 'too far' because of his 'high standards', but insisted that his actions were done with '100 per cent good intentions.' James then stepped back from the role of CEO in May 2024 amidst a flurry of accusations of improper conduct, being replaced by current CEO James Taylor. He left three months after Ofcom rejected a complaint he had lodged against the BBC after it made a documentary outlining misconduct allegations. The self-described BrewDog 'Captain' faced a number of improper conduct allegations in 2021 concerning female staff, and was revealed to have invested in Heineken, contrasting with his brewery's anti-establishment 'punk' image. James denied claims that he made female bartenders feel 'uncomfortable' and 'powerless' and that he would take intoxicated women on private late-night tours of the brewery. He went on to tie the knot with Georgia earlier this year, onboard a fishing boat just off the coast of the picturesque town of Gardenstown in Aberdeenshire. The pair got engaged in October after the millionaire proposed with an eight carat triple-diamond studded band estimated to be worth £200,000, while on holiday in Greece for Georgia's 30th birthday. In May, it was revealed the pair are worth a staggering £425 million, according to The Sunday Times, overtaking the likes of Ed Sheeran, Lord Sainsburys, Harry Styles and Lewis Hamilton.
