If Rahul contests polls from Pak, he will certainly win
Ghaziabad: Spiritual guru Acharya Pramod Krishnam on Saturday launched a sharp attack on Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, claiming that he is immensely popular in Pakistan and would win by a huge margin if he ever contested elections there.
His remark came after a few videos of Rahul Gandhi went viral in Pakistan.
Talking to IANS, Acharya Pramod Krishnam said: 'If Rahul Gandhi contests elections from Pakistan, he will win with a thumping majority. Rahul Gandhi does not trust the statements of Indian leaders or institutions. When the Indian Army states it has given a befitting reply to Pakistan, Rahul Gandhi demands proof. But if a leader from Pakistan says something, he immediately believes it. This is why the people of Pakistan love him so much, and it seems he, too, has a deep affection for Pakistan.'
Krishnam further reacted to Rahul Gandhi's recent remarks questioning the government over Operation Sindoor, where the Congress leader raised concerns about the mission and specifically asked External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar how many Indian aircraft were lost during the operation.
'Rahul Gandhi has made it his habit to question the Indian Army, the Parliament, and the Constitution,' Krishnam added.
'When a child goes astray, there is usually hope of reform. But Rahul Gandhi, despite coming from such a prominent family, seems completely spoiled. I don't see any chance of him improving. Still, I advise him not to speak against the country.'

The kind of propaganda that even Pakistan was not able to do, he is doing," PTI quoted Poonawala as saying. Poonawala said Rahul Gandhi likes things which are foreign, be it propaganda or a leader. According to Shehzad Poonawalla, Pakistan, which has 'admitted' that it was "beaten up" by India during Operation Sindoor, was "pleading" with India to stop military action. "Rahul Gandhi, believe in what the DGMO said, what the ministry of external affairs said. If not them, at least believe in Shashi (Tharoor), Manish (Tewari) and Salman (Khurshid). They have said that no mediation happened, India did not call up (Pakistan), their DGMO reached out to India," Poonawalla said. BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari also launched a fierce attack on the Rae Bareli MP, accusing him of making "indecent" remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and questioning his values and patriotism. "Rahul Gandhi's words reflect his values. He makes such indecent remarks against the country's Prime Minister. But this is what can be expected from Rahul Gandhi, whose heart beats for Pakistan. Because when he offers floral tributes to the statue of his grandmother (Indira Gandhi), he does not even remove his shoes," Bhandari said. BJP MP Sambit Patra said Rahul Gandhi's speech in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday does not befit any "civilised politician or any leader of the opposition." Sharing a self-made video on X, Sambit Patra said, 'Today, during his speech in Madhya Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi has not only insulted Operation Sindoor but also the Indian Army and the country. The way Rahul Gandhi spoke about Operation Sindoor does not befit any civilised politician, any leader of the opposition or any politician. This kind of politician, who uses words like 'surrender' for his motherland, is not fit for the country.' Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP-led government on Tuesday over allegations of mediation by the United States in Operation Sindoor. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi "followed" Donald Trump after the US leader called him and that the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi did not budge to the US in the 1971 war. "Now, I understand RSS-BJP well. They run away out of fear if slight pressure is put on them. When Trump called Modiji- Modiji kya kar rahe ho, Narender-Surrender and with 'ji hazooor', Narenderji followed Trump. In the 1971 war, the Seventh Fleet came from the US. India Gandhi said I will do whatever I have to do. This is the difference. This is their character; all of them are like this. Since the Independence movement, they have had the habit of writing letters of surrender," he said while addressing a convention of Congress workers in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal. Rahul Gandhi doubled down on his attack through a social media post, stating, "Trump's phone came, and PM Narendra Modi ji immediately surrendered. History is witness. This is the character of the BJP-RSS; they always budge. India had bifurcated Pakistan in 1971 despite the threat by the United States. The 'babbar sher' and 'shernis' of Congress fight the Superpowers, they do not bow'.

Thane MCOCA court acquits 14 alleged Ravi Pujari gang members
MUMBAI: A special court in Thane designated under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has acquitted 14 men accused of being members of gangster Ravi Pujari's syndicate, citing lack of sufficient evidence. Ravi Pujari is a notorious gangster who was allegedly involved in various murders and threats to Indian celebrities and businessmen. The court in Thane held that the prosecution failed to establish the charges against the 14 men, who were arrested by the Thane police crime branch following mobile phone surveillance and intelligence inputs suggesting a plan to rob multiple jewellery shops in the city. The men were charged with a series of serious offences, including preparation to commit dacoity, membership of a gang of dacoits, criminal conspiracy, possession of deadly weapons in violation of the Arms Act, disobedience of police orders, and offences under MCOCA, including committing and conspiring organised crime. Trial proceedings against eight of the accused were separated after they went absconding. In its detailed order issued on May 29, Special Judge Amit Shete noted that the prosecution failed to submit critical evidence, including details of the phone numbers allegedly under surveillance. 'The intercepted conversations do not indicate any clear plan to commit robbery,' the court observed. 'There is no material on record to show that the accused persons, by forming an organised crime syndicate, were indulging in offences for wrongful gain,' the court said. It also found no evidence of the accused being involved in a single common crime, weakening the case for criminal conspiracy. 'In conclusion, the investigating agencies have failed to collect sufficient material to implicate the accused. They are entitled to the benefit of doubt,' the court held. The verdict comes days after a court in Mumbai acquitted gangster Ravi Pujari in a separate case — the 1999 murder of Anil Sharma, an alleged aide of Dawood Ibrahim — marking one of the first judgments since Pujari's extradition from Senegal in 2020.
