CBC9 hours ago
Joffre Lakes Park will be closed to visitors between September 2nd to October 3rd. The province says the closure will allow the park to recover from a busy summer. It will provide time and space for local First Nations to reconnect with the land, carry out cultural and spiritual practices, and recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
