Knoxville Police, Young-Williams investigating after dog found dead with bag tied over its head

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knoxville Police Department and Young-Williams Animal Center are investigating after two dogs were found abandoned. One of the dogs was dead with a bag tied over its head.
YWAC Animal Services Officers were sent to the parking lot of 809 E. Emerald Avenue around 7 a.m. on Monday, May 5, where two juvenile terrier mix-breed dogs were found. While one dog was dead, the other was alive and did not have any visible injuries. However, KPD said a second bag was found on the property. The dog was taken to Young-Williams Animal Center.

YWAC staff attempted to locate someone who recognized the dogs or had knowledge about their owner but were unsuccessful. Anyone with information about the dogs that could assist the investigation is asked to contact the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers.

MCSO said that investigators followed the motorcycle, but it continued to evade, reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour. When the suspect reached Interstate 20, he began to drive on the wrong side of the road and, because of safety concerns, investigators terminated the pursuit; but still want to identify the man who got away. Anyone with information has been asked to call Crime Stoppers at 432-694-TIPS. Charleston Police Dept. seeking help in identifying masked subject

CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) — The Charleston Police Department is looking for information on a masked individual and is turning to the public for help in identifying them. Two airlifted after crash involving concrete truck in Coles Co. In a Facebook post Tuesday afternoon, the department posted five security camera photos of a subject wearing a black mask, green hoodie, black backpack, black gloves and blue jeans among other things. However, the department did not provide a specific reason as to why they are seeking information on this person. Charleston Police is asking anyone who can help identify this person to reach out to detectives at 217-345-8403. Additionally, those wishing to stay anonymous can use the P3 Tips website to submit the information they have on the individual. State police identify Mass. driver killed in New Hampshire crash

State police have identified a Massachusetts driver who died in a single-vehicle crash in Salisbury on Monday. Brian L. Young, 63, of Andover, Massachusetts died when the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck he was driving crashed into a tree, state police said Tuesday. At 3:30 a.m. Monday, state police dispatch received a report of a single-vehicle crash on North Road. The caller reported that a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck had crashed into a tree and the driver was unconscious. When emergency crews arrived, they found Young dead at the scene, state police said. Troopers and members of the Salisbury Fire Department and the Penacook Rescue Squad responded.
