Samsung TV users around the globe are reporting a widespread service outage. Due to the outage users are now able to access streaming apps and other smart TV features. As reported by DownDetector, users have reported failing the ability to load apps and continuous server errors. The issue appears to stem from a disruption in Samsung's Smart Hub servers, which power app connectivity and account services on its TVs. Samsung TV services outage: Here's what the users said According to DownDetector, 78% users are facing issues with the apps on Samsung TV, while 13% are now able to login and 8% are having problem with the website. As per user posts on Samsung's official community forum, the outage started around Thursday evening. Affected users say they are unable to access streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube, with some receiving 'Server Certificate Error' messages or being stuck on the Terms of Agreement screen during setup. The outage is not limited to the U.S.—users from Argentina, Europe, and India have also reported similar issues. Some attempted factory resets and Wi-Fi reconfigurations, only to find their TVs completely non-functional afterward. 'I completely reset my TV. At least I had Netflix before I messed things up even more trying to fix it. Now I have nothing,' one user wrote. As of now, Samsung has not issued an official statement acknowledging the outage or providing an estimated time for resolution. Users attempting to contact customer support have reported long wait times and limited information.
