Tajh Ariza, Westchester, 6-9, Jr.: He led the Comets to their 16th City Section championship, averaging 27 points and 14 rebounds.
Anto Balian, Pilibos, 6-3, Sr.: The Pepperdine commit averaged 31.9 points and led his team to historic wins over Crespi and Chatsworth.
Brandon Benjamin, Anaheim Canyon, 6-5, Sr.: The University of San Diego commit averaged 30.1 points while delivering top performances against top teams from start to finish.
Tyran Stokes, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 6-7, Jr.: He helped the Knights reach the Open Division sectional and regional finals by averaging 21.1 points and 9.4 rebounds and shooting 53% from the field.
Myles Walker, Eastvale Roosevelt, 5-9, Sr.: The point guard averaged 12.4 points and 6.9 assists while coming through in big games, including 10 points and 10 assists against Notre Dame in the regional final.

YSU senior finishes Top-10 at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships
EUGENE, Oregon (WKBN) – YSU senior Tye Hunt finished 10th in the long jump at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Wednesday. Hunt's best jump measured 7.77m at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. University of Florida senior and three-time First Team All-American Malcolm Clemons won the event with a jump of 8.04m on his first attempt to win his first national title. Hunt was one of 24 finalists in the country to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He posted a season-best 7.92m at the Virginia Challenge in April. He also qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships last year and finished in ninth place to earn All-American honors. Hunt's teammate Hunter Christopher will compete in the 5,000m NCAA finals on Friday. Last season, before the trade deadline, the San Antonio Spurs added All-Star point guard De'Aaron Fox from the Sacramento Kings, hoping that he would be the long-term running mate for Victor Wembanyama. Advertisement The pair played only five games together, going 2-3, before Wembanyama had his season ended early with a deep vein thrombosis diagnosis in his shoulder. A few weeks later, Fox had his season ended as well, undergoing surgery on his pinkie finger. In 17 games with the Spurs, Fox averaged 19.7 points and 6.8 assists, clearly needing to get used to his new team. He expects to use the offseason to settle into his role with his new teammates and is already playing five-on-five and has been cleared for contact. 'I'm doing well. The surgery went fine,' Fox told The Houston Chronicle. 'I've been cleared, so I played a little five-on-five, and I've done contact stuff, so I'll be ready for next year.' The Spurs gave up Zach Collins, Tre Jones, Sidy Cissoko, and four first-round draft picks to the Kings and Chicago Bulls in a three-team deal to land Fox, although several of those picks had protections on them, and one of them ended up not conveying to the Kings. Advertisement Before the trade, Fox asked the Kings to get a deal done and listed the Spurs as the only acceptable landing spot. With Wembanyama in town, San Antonio has become a premier destination, and Fox got in on the ground floor, expecting the team to find massive success in the next few years. Gabe Craig named first-team All American
WACO, Texas (FOX 44) — The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, or NCBWA, announced Baylor senior right-handed pitcher Gabe Craig as a First Team All-American on Wednesday, marking the first time a Baylor Bear received the recognition since Kyle Hill in 2019. Craig is the 11th different Bear in program history to earn first-team praise for a total of 28 times. Alongside Hill, Craig is now one of only two First Team All-America relief pitchers in program history. Additionally, Luke Boyd (2021), Zane Carlson (2000) and Troy Montemayor (2017) are the only other relievers to have earned All-America status, regardless of team distinction, in Baylor history. Statistically one of the most dominant relievers in the country, Craig finished the 2025 season with a 3-0 record and earned 10 saves in 32 innings of work. He struck out 51 batters and walked just three, holding opponents to a .124 batting average. He led the nation with a microscopic 0.56 ERA, a 0.50 WHIP and a 17:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Craig also ranked second nationally in H/9 (3.66), third in BB/9 (0.84) and owned the fifth-best K/9 (14.34) among Division I relievers. The NCBWA previously named Craig a finalist for the Stopper of the Year Award in addition to being named one of five finalists for the 2025 College Baseball Foundation National Pitcher of the Year Award. He also picked up All-Big 12 First Team accolades and ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region Second Team praise earlier this summer. This is Craig's second All-America honor in as many days.
