Nothing Phone 3 Battery And Charging Details Leaked: What You Can Expect
Nothing Phone 3 launch is getting closer and the leaks are making it easy to see what the new flagship device will offer.
Nothing Phone 3 details are getting clear as day with every leak and with the official launch next week, we have more specs revealed through various sources. Earlier this week, we talked about the rumoured Phone 3 specs which includes the display size, camera setup and the battery size. But now we have more certifications that share accurate details about the new Nothing flagship phone.
The FCC filing has been mentioned in this report, which has details about the Nothing Phone 3 specs like battery, its charging speed and even the model number which the company has revealed itself. The Phone 3 is said to pack a 5,150mAh battery which is just marginally bigger than what you get with the Phone 3a series and even just 300mAh bigger than the Phone 2 model from the company.
Going by these numbers, it feels like Nothing is unlikely to adopt the silicon carbide tech for its battery, something that would have made it possible to fit a 6,000mAh unit like the OnePlus 13, in a sleek body.
The display is being tipped to be flat like most of the phones launched in 2025. The leak via Gadget Bits earlier claims the new model will get a 6.7-inch OLED LTPO display with 1.5K resolution. He also says the Phone 3 will offer a triple camera system that includes a trio of 50MP wide, 3x periscope telephoto and an ultra-wide lens. The previous battery details from the tipster suggested Nothing could support 100W charging speed but that seems unlikely with the latest updates.
Nothing CEO Carl Pei has hinted at a starting price of EUR 800 for the Phone 3 but that does not mean we will see the device launch at the said range. In fact, using the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset means the company will have to realign their strategy, especially in markets like India, where you have the Poco F7 and the iQOO Neo 10 available for under Rs 35K with the same hardware.

CMF Buds 2 Plus review: Clear audio, strong ANC, and long battery life
The CMF Buds 2 Plus, priced at Rs 3,299, arrive as an upgrade to the CMF Buds 2, offering features like 12mm LCP drivers, LDAC support, Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification, hybrid ANC rated up to 50dB, and Audio do's personalised sound tuning. They promise better sound, comfort, and endurance, but are they worth the step up? Design and build Available in Blue and Light Grey, the Buds 2 Plus retain the minimalist design of the Buds 2. The Blue variant tested here comes with three sizes of silicone ear tips for a secure fit. A rotating lanyard loop replaces the decorative dial from the base model, making it more practical for attaching to bags or keys. Noise cancellation and audio performance Rated for up to 50dB, the hybrid ANC blocks most external noise effectively, though adaptive mode can sometimes over-isolate. Audio quality is well-balanced, with clear vocals, detailed highs, and punchy bass, making them suitable for both music and video streaming. Call quality is solid, with voices sounding clearer and fuller than on the Buds 2, aided by improved microphone tuning. Software and features Like other CMF and Nothing earbuds, the Buds 2 Plus work with the Nothing X app. Instead of the Dirac Opteo preset found on the Buds 2, they feature Personal Sound tuning, which tailors audio output based on individual hearing profiles. They offer Low, Mid, High, and Adaptive noise control modes, along with transparency and ANC-off options. Ultra Bass mode and Spatial Audio are also included, though neither makes a significant difference in everyday listening. Battery life Battery performance is a key improvement. CMF claims up to 14 hours of playback on a single charge (ANC off) and 61.5 hours with the case. Quick charging provides about 7 hours of playback from a 15-minute top-up, making them well-suited for extended use. Verdict The CMF Buds 2 Plus deliver on their promise of clear sound, strong ANC, and long battery life, with subtle but meaningful upgrades over the Buds 2. For an additional ₹600, buyers get better fit, endurance, and personalised tuning – making them a stronger choice for comfort and extended listening.

OnePlus 15 Launch Could Bring A New-Looking Device To The Market: Know More
OnePlus 15 could get a radical design change after a few years and other hardware upgrades when it launches next year. The OnePlus 13 series is done, and now the focus shifts to the next flagship lineup which will most likely be called the OnePlus 15. Latest reports come with exciting details about the new series, which could finally look different from the existing models. The OnePlus 13 could be the last model to feature a circular camera module at the back that started with the OnePlus 11 series a few years back. Most rumours hint at the OnePlus 13s becoming the new design blueprint for the future models, which includes the OnePlus 15 smartphone that will be launching next year. OnePlus 15 Goes Big On Design OnePlus 15 could ditch the circular camera module and come with a squarish-shaped layout that we have recently seen with the OnePlus 13s model that launched in India. There have been talks about Oppo keeping the Hasselblad branding for itself and moving beyond it for the OnePlus series. The OnePlus 15 launch will also bring more intriguing additions, but a lower-res screen might be a dampener for many looking to buy the new model. We do expect the OnePlus 15 to launch with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC that will be made official later this year. OnePlus could once again benefit from the silicon carbon battery tech by packing a massive 7,000 or 7,500mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging speed as well. The company should have a triple camera setup but without the Hasselblad tuning we are eager to see how the upgrades shape out. OnePlus 13s is the new compact phone in the market that competes with the Vivo X200 FE launched recently in India. Both these phones have focused on comfort while using and the overall endurance to make it run at least for a full day. They are even priced around the same range but Vivo does have a slight upper hand with its Zeiss optics camera setup while OnePlus has the better software experience with OxygenOS on board in the market. view comments First Published: August 12, 2025, 15:20 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
