Police manhunt under way after woman injured at Kent pub
Police are searching for a man after a woman was injured at a pub near Sevenoaks, Kent.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the Three Horseshoes pub in Knockholt amid reports a woman had suffered serious injuries just after 7pm on Friday.
A male suspect fled the scene and is yet to be found.
Kent Police said efforts to find him and establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
A spokesman said: 'The suspect, a man who is believed to be known to the victim, left the area and is currently outstanding.
'Enquiries to locate him and to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.'
Witnesses told the BBC the woman had been shot, but this is yet to be confirmed by police.
Steve Maines, a parish councillor in Knockholt, told the broadcaster: 'We were sitting having our Valentine's Day meal when all of a sudden we heard this huge commotion outside in the car park.
'We were told someone had been shot so we had to leave.'

A man who crashed into a McDonald's has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a dead woman in her 30s was later found in a home. The 35-year-old crashed his blue Skoda Superb car into the fast food restaurant in the town of Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire, at around 3.30pm yesterday. Emergency services rushed to the chain takeaway just off the A14, on Folley Way, where police grilled the man. This revealed there was a woman lying dead at an address on residential street Donnington Road, less than a five-minute drive away. He was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody today for questioning by major crime team detectives. One resident said the usually quiet, sleepy town was hit with a heavy police and forensics presence in the wake of the crash, The Sun reports. Officers from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) have launched a murder investigation and are appealing for information. The specialist body's DI Torie Harrison stressed it is currently believed to be 'an isolated incident with no risk to the wider community'. But officers will have 'an enhanced presence' in the town in the next few days 'to provide reassurance and support as inquiries continue'. The senior investigating officer continued: 'Following the tragic discovery of a woman's body in Burton Latimer yesterday afternoon, our thoughts and condolences are with everyone who knew and loved her. 'We have established a comprehensive and fast-moving investigation into the circumstances of her death, with one arrest made. 'I know news of this death will cause immense concern and distress to people in the local area.' A Northamptonshire Police spokesperson said: 'Roads Policing officers attended and inquiries led to the discovery of the body of a woman aged in her 30s at an address in Donnington Road.' They emphasised: 'Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident. 'Neighbourhood Policing Teams are carrying out additional patrols in Burton Latimer to provide community support and reassurance and anyone with concerns is encouraged to speak to them.' Anyone with information, including CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
