(Video) Sabrina & Laurinda Ho's Appearance At G-Dragon's HK Concert Sparks Mixed Reactions

It's no surprise that a superstar like G-Dragon (지드래곤) attracts a lot of famous fans. However, a fancam from his recent 'Übermensch' concert in Hong Kong shows that even billionaires' daughters are fond of the singer. Last weekend, G-Dragon performed a three-day concert at the AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong. The show was a huge success with thousands of fans, including Sabrina Ho (何超盈) and Laurinda Ho (何超莲), daughters of the late casino magnate Stanley Ho (何鴻燊). While they posted on social media, netizens only began noting their appearance after a fancam surfaced. A few days after the concert, a fancam video from the concert was posted onto Chinese social media. While the fancam was focused on G-Dragon as he walked beside the crowd, the video accidentally captured Sabrina and Laurinda, wearing black and white caps, respectively, standing at the rock zone. Notably, the two public figures were standing by the barricade, which made them stand out more in the fancam. The video then went viral, sparking a heated debate. Many fans were surprised to learn that Sabrina and Laurinda were fans of G-Dragon, noting that it's a testament to the star's popularity. Some argued that the BIGBANG member had seemingly interacted with the two during his performance, which led netizens to wonder if he knew who the sisters were. However, some also lamented that Sabrina and Laurinda may have pushed their way to the front after one netizen revealed that they entered the venue late. Interestingly, Sabrina and Laurinda aren't the only famous faces at the concert. Some netizens revealed that Hong Kong actresses Charmaine Sheh (佘诗曼), Angela Tong (汤盈盈), Janet Chow (周家蔚), and Annie Man (文颂娴) also attended one of the three shows. However, the four were at the seating area rather than the rock zones. Since the four are known to be part of the same friend group, some fans quipped that it was a girls' night out for them. The Hong Kong show marks the end of the Asia leg of G-Dragon's world tour. The North American and European leg of the tour will continue later this month. Perhaps we'll see more stars at the concerts then. In the meantime, check out the G-Dragon fancam with Sabrina and Laurinda: @hypemsia GDRAGON's 지드래곤 recent concert in Hong Kong attracted some famous fans, including SabrinaHo 何超盈 and LaurindaHo 何超莲, the daughters of casino magnate StanleyHo 何鴻燊. Piano Legend Liu Shikun and Prodigy Amy Chen Share Stage with Andrea Bocelli in Historic Sino-Italian Musical Celebration

HONG KONG, Aug. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Chopard, the renowned Swiss luxury jeweler, hosted a transcendent musical gala against the breathtaking backdrop of Sardinia's azure waters and golden sunsets. The evening united Chinese piano maestro Liu Shikun, 7-year-old prodigy Amy Chen, Italian tenor icon Andrea Bocelli, and soprano Alisa in a cross-cultural symphony of artistry. East Meets West in Harmonic Dialogue The concert opened with Maestro Liu Shikun's soul-stirring performance of 'My Motherland', his fingers evoking profound patriotism through the grand piano, and touched the heart of the audience. Young Amy Chen then captivated the audience with a technically dazzling yet emotionally mature interpretation of Beethoven's 'Pathétique' Sonata. In a delightful surprise, the child virtuoso seamlessly transitioned into an improvised finale from the Italian classic 'Torna a Surriento'—a moment that prompted Bocelli's visible admiration, leaving the audience delighted and amazed. A Meeting of Musical Minds Backstage, Bocelli and Liu—longtime acquaintances—shared their first artistic collaboration. Upon learning of Amy's disciplined 6-7 hour daily practice regimen, the 'Con te partirò' legend remarked: 'True genius walks hand-in-hand with perseverance.' Soprano Alisa and Liu later delivered a spellbinding rendition of 'Meine Lippen, Sie küssen so Heiss' from Giuditta, their interplay embodying classical music's romantic essence. Sunset Serenade Under Mediterranean Skies As dusk painted the sea in amber hues, Bocelli ascended the stage with his signature 'Time to Say Goodbye'. His velvety timbre moved attendees to tears, culminating in a joint curtain call where Chopard's glittering jewels mirrored the artists' radiant talents—a fitting tribute to this unprecedented fusion of generations, cultures, and artistic excellence.

JP idol Kenshin Kamimura convicted of indecent assault but avoids jail in HK

Kenshin Kamimura allegedly touched the female interpreter's thigh repeatedly during a celebratory dinner at a restaurant. Photo: AP Japanese pop idol Kenshin Kamimura was found guilty of a charge of indecent assault on a female interpreter in a Hong Kong court Wednesday before some emotional fans. Kamimura, a former member of a Japanese boy group named One N' Only, was arrested in the southern Chinese city in March. In the same month, his contract was terminated due to a serious compliance violation. In April, he pleaded not guilty. He allegedly touched the interpreter's thigh repeatedly during a celebratory dinner at a restaurant. During the trial last month, the interpreter testified through a live video link that Kamimura had invited her to a bathroom elsewhere. After she dismissed the request and told him she had a boyfriend, Kamimura continued to touch her thigh, she said. The defense argued the interpreter exaggerated her claims and the alleged bathroom invitation might not have been based on improper motives. Judge Peter Yu handed down the conviction Wednesday, saying Kamimura touched the intrepreter in a caressing nature that implicitly carried a sexual undertone and had indecent intent. After the verdict was announced, the singer looked relieved and hugged his courtroom translator. "The defendant's acts are obviously disrespectful toward women,' Yu said. "Such behaviour should be condemned.' In pleading for a lesser penalty, the defense said Kamimura previously had a promising future and paid a heavy price. After the verdict was announced, a few of Kamimura's fans wept in the courtroom. But Kamimura looked relieved and hugged his courtroom translator when the judge issued a fine of HK$15,000 (about US$1,900) and no prison term. The maximum penalty for the charge is 10 years of imprisonment. The singer's supporters, including some from Japan and mainland China, formed long lines inside the court building to secure a seat in the main courtroom before the hearing. After the hearing, they waited outside to see Kamimura, who did not speak before leaving in a car. Others from mainland China who attended said they were not fans but wanted to learn more about the case, especially after seeing criticism of the female interpreter online. After the hearing, fans waited outside to see the idol, who did not speak before leaving in a car. University student Betty Zhong from the Chinese city of Shenzhen said she was not a Kamimura fan but attended the court hearings in Hong Kong because a friend likes the J-pop idol and she wanted to know what happened. She said she was surprised Kamimura was charged during a visit to Hong Kong. "News reports are not so comprehensive. When I come here, I can understand it holistically and the explanations from both sides,' she said. Kamimura also is an actor who appeared in several TV dramas including the boys' love series Our Youth and the popular drama Ossan's Love Returns . – AP
