UFC on ABC 9 full fight video: Reinier de Ridder hands Bo Nickal first pro loss
Back in May at UFC on ESPN 67, Reinier de Ridder took on Nickal in a highly anticipated middleweight bout, given it was Nickal's biggest test in his career. Yet, despite entering the fight as a favorite, de Ridder controlled the entirety of the fight until getting a TKO stoppage over in Round 2. It was a big win for the former ONE Championship champion that put him on a three-fight winning streak in the octagon.
You can watch de Ridder's win in the video above.
De Ridder (20-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) returns to the cage this Saturday in the main event of UFC on ABC 9 at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. He takes on former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker (26-8 MMA, 17-6 UFC).

UFC 319 adds DWCS newcomer Baisangur Susurkaev on four days' notice
Less than 24 hours after becoming a UFC fighter, Baisangur Susurkaev already has his first matchup – and it's this weekend at UFC 319. Susurkaev (9-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) was the shining star of Tuesday's Dana White's Contender Series as the only fighter to record a finish. After awarding him a UFC contract, promotion CEO Dana White gushed over Susurkaev's performance and potential, even stating on the broadcast that the matchmakers were eager to get him into the octagon as soon as possible. After taking his DWCS fight on four days' notice, he will now take his first fight in the same amount of time to face fellow newcomer Eric Nolan. The middleweight bout will be the 15th of the UFC 319 lineup, which takes place at United Center in Chicago. MMA Junkie confirmed the news with two sources following a first report from X user @zaclikesmma. Susurkaev stopped Murtaza Talha with a perfectly-placed body kick in the opening round of his DWCS appearance. The undefeated 24-year-old has only gone the distance once in his professional career. On the opposite side of the octagon will be Nolan (8-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who recently captured the CFFC welterweight title in May. Currently riding a four-fight winning streak, Nolan, 27, has finished three straight opponents. With the addition, the current UFC 319 lineup includes: Dricus Du Plessis vs. Khamzat Chimaev Lerone Murphy vs. Aaron Pico Geoff Neal vs. Carlos Prates Jared Cannonier vs. Michael Page Kai Asakura vs. Tim Elliott Diego Ferreira vs. King Green Gerald Meerschaert vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk Jessica Andrade vs. Loopy Godinez Alexander Hernandez vs. Chase Hooper Edson Barboza vs. Drakkar Klose Bryan Battle vs. Nursulton Ruziboev Dione Barbosa vs. Karine Silva Eric Nolan vs. Baisangur Susurkaev Daniil Donchenko vs. Rodrigo Sezinando Alibi Idiris vs. Joseph Morales This article originally appeared on MMA Junkie: UFC 319: DWCS standout Baisangur Susurkaev gets fast turnaround debut

Ty Miller sees UFC dreams start at DWCS 77 –\u00a0as long as he can heal up quickly
LAS VEGAS – Ty Miller just turned 25 in June, so he hasn't had these dreams for long. But after his unanimous decision scorecard sweep Tuesday on the first episode of DWCS this season, he said his dreams already are coming true. Miller (6-0) earned a UFC contract with a trio of 30-27 scores over Jimmy Drago (7-3) in the co-main event of the season opener. "I'm extremely happy. I've dreamed of this for a long time, so I'm happy to be here," Miller said. "I was ready to go all three rounds. I knew he was tough and durable. But I also knew I could pick him apart from the outside. I was looking for the finish, but he was hella tough. He had hard kicks, too." Miller left the fight injured and said he had fluid drained from his leg after the fight, so isn't sure how quickly he'll be making his UFC debut to see those dreams continue. "I think it's whatever they think is best for my career," Miller said. "I'm going to listen to what they say, see what they want me to do. But I also like to stay active and stay busy, too. I like to fight." Check out Miller's full post-fight news conference in the video above.
