LUSH fans are obsessed with the latest winter collection: From sticky date shower gel to chocolate body wash

7NEWS22-05-2025

There's nothing quite like that first whiff of a LUSH store. It's sweet, like a warm hug meets a sugar rush.
As someone who has been obsessed with their bath bombs for years (the fizz, the colour, the self-care energy), LUSH has always delivered on scent, fun and a whole lot of feel-good.
But if you've only ever dipped into the brand for the odd bath bomb or a last-minute gift set, you're missing out.
Their winter line-up is rich, warm, and packed with scents that feel like slipping into a plush robe and lighting a candle that smells like caramel sauce.
Basically, exactly what you want when it's cold, grey and you're emotionally attached to your hot water bottle.
Here's what to shop now, including some all-time best sellers that have gone viral for a reason, winter perfumes that double as compliments magnets.
1. Shade Perfume, $55
If you're into rich, woody scents that feel like curling up with a good book in front of a fire, this is your new go-to.
Think warm sandalwood, paired with olibanum (also known as frankincense), for a comforting, gender-neutral scent that lasts all day.
2. Vanillary Perfume, $55
This one's for the dessert lovers. It's got that real vanilla pod depth, not the sickly sweet kind, with a swirl of jasmine and a hint of burnt caramel. Delicious, rich and warm.
3. Lust Perfume 30ml, $65
Big date energy. It's jasmine-heavy with a seductive note of rose, sexy, bold and not for the faint-hearted. Just one spritz, and you're stepping into your main character era.
4. The Comforter Body Spray, $45
This fruity spray stars blackcurrant absolute and feels like being wrapped in a berry-scented blanket. It's fresh and sweet without being overpowering. A fan favourite, especially post-gym or pre-couch.
5. Super Milk Conditioning Hair Primer, $30
Hydrating milks from almond, oat and coconut make this leave-in primer a triple threat. Use it to de-frizz, rehydrate, or bring second-day curls back to life.
6. Sticky Dates Shower Gel, $15
This rich, gourmand lather smells like st icky date pudding soaked in caramel sauce. The fragrance lingers long after your shower, and it's addictive and viral.
7. Let The Good Times Roll Body Spray, $50
Buttery popcorn vibes meet a sweet, nostalgic scent that's basically a carnival in a bottle. Smells like fun, feels like magic.
8. Posh Chocolate Body Wash, $12
This creamy, dreamy, chocolate-scented wash feels indulgent without being too sweet. With hazelnut milk and cocoa powder, it's vegan and luxurious.
Whether you're after a new signature scent, a self-care pick-me-up, Lush has you sorted this season.
Their winter edit is bursting with decadent perfumes and nostalgic treats that'll have strangers asking what you're wearing, and you'll be excited to say, 'It's Lush.'

President Sisi to Macron: Egypt supports NY-host Conference on a Peace Settlement, Implementation of two-state Solution

File- President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron - Press Photo CAIRO – 2 June 2025: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from France's President, Emmanuel Macron, on Monday. They tackled the ways to enhance bilateral ties and the non-stop Israeli genocidal war on the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip. Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said the two Presidents discussed issues pertinent to bilateral relations. They expressed satisfaction at the outstanding level of cooperation between the two countries, particularly after President Macron's historic visit to Egypt in April 2025, during which the two sides promoted their bilateral relations to the level of Strategic Partnership. The two Presidents reaffirmed their commitment to fully implementing this partnership, emphasizing their dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation across all areas of mutual interest, notably expanding French investments in Egypt and boosting French companies' involvement in Egyptian economic projects. President El-Sisi and President Macron also discussed regional developments, primarily the Palestinian cause. President El-Sisi lauded France's position in support of the Palestinian people's legitimate rights. The President also reviewed Egypt's persistent efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, exchange hostages and detainees and ensure delivery of humanitarian aid and relief into the sector. President El-Sisi underscored Egypt's support for the Conference on a Peace Settlement and the Implementation of the two-state Solution, which is scheduled to convene in New York this month. The President reiterated that the establishment of a Palestinian State along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, is the only path to achieving lasting peace in the Middle East. French President Macron expressed appreciation for Egypt's role in reinforcing regional security and for its efforts to restore stability in the region. He affirmed his support for all Egyptian initiatives aimed at ending the war in Gaza and resolving the humanitarian crisis there. France's President commended efforts exerted on the official and popular levels, which he noted during his visit to Egypt, to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people, particularly in delivering humanitarian aid and providing medical care for injured and ill Palestinians. During their call, the two Presidents confirmed the importance of continuing coordination between Egypt and France on regional issues of mutual concern so as to contribute to enhancing regional security and restoring stability in the region.

Fugro secures gas field development deal in Southeast Asia

Fugro has signed a letter of award to perform a site characterisation programme for a deepwater gas field development in Southeast Asia. This significant award represents the largest geotechnical and geophysical survey project for Fugro in the Asia Pacific region to date, reflecting the positive momentum of deepwater developments in the region, the company said. This complex project builds on a combination of Fugro's onshore, nearshore and offshore geophysical and geotechnical survey services. Geo-data acquisition is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2025, with fieldwork estimated to last approximately one year. Detailed testing and consulting deliverables will continue into 2027. Supporting site planning and engineering design, the resulting ground model will be made available to project owners in near real-time, to facilitate faster decision-making by project engineers and improved collaboration with stakeholders including regulatory agencies.
