'I purposefully said, 'Please do not share with me anything until we are ready to prep it, because I want plausible deniability,'' Zakhar Perez told Elle. 'I have not read a script, but I hear it's very good.'
Last May, Amazon MGM Studios announced they greenlighted development on the sequel after the first became Prime Video's No. 1 movie in its global debut weekend, holding the position for three weeks.
Zakhar Perez reunites with Nicholas Galatzine as Prince Henry for the sequel, which also sees writer-director Matthew López returning after making his feature debut with the original, penning the sequel alongside McQuiston. Berlanti Schechter Films' Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter will return to produce the film, joined by the banner's Michael McGrath, as well as López. McQuiston will executive produce.
In Red, White & Royal Blue, President Ellen Claremont's (Uma Thurman) son Alex (Zakhar Perez) has an embarrassing encounter with Prince Henry (Galatzine), threatening US/UK relations and his mother's reelection campaign. While attempting to clean up the bad press, the pair is forced to pretend to be best friends, during which the unlikely pair secretly falls in love.

'Reacher' Season 4's Streaming Status is Safe. For Now
While there's not yet a release for Reacher Season 4, one of the major corporations behind the show, Paramount, has undergone a major shakeup. Following a merger between Skydance Media and Paramount, certain aspects of how shows produced by Paramount will be streamed might change. But it seems Reacher will stay the same, at least for now. Although Reacher is distributed by and co-produced on Amazon Prime Video, the show is also produced by Paramount Television Studios. And now that Paramount has merged with Skydance, some behind-the-scenes stuff will change. But, according to Deadline, that shouldn't impact the viewer experience in the short Reacher still stream on Amazon Prime Video? As of this writing, the Paramount and Skydance merger will not impact the streaming distribution of Reacher Season 4. As pointed out by Screenrant: "It seemed apparent that, given its success, the merger wouldn't negatively impact the series' fate. However, it does mean CBS Studios will no longer be in charge, the baton passing to PTVS as the franchise continues. But this doesn't negatively impact the show." In the first half of 2025, Reacher easily made it into the top 10 most-streamed shows, according to several metrics, including the Nielsen ratings. Overall, Reacher is one of the biggest hits for Prime Video, meaning a switch to another streamer, like Paramount+, seems Season 4 and Neagley release dates Reacher Season 4 began production in June 2025. Meanwhile, the Reacher spinoff show, Neagley, finished filming on June 7, 2025. Both Reacher Season 4 and Neagley Season 1 will likely be released in 2026, though it's possible Neagley could debut later this year. 'Reacher' Season 4's Streaming Status is Safe. Prime Video's ‘Reacher' Follow-Up Premieres to Lackluster Rotten Tomatoes Rating
There's no denying that Alan Ritchson's role as Jack Reacher in the Prime Video series has led to immense success for the streaming platform. Already on its way to a fourth season, Reacher has held its own with a promising 96% Rotten Tomatoes score. While the series, based on the Lee Child books, has no plans of stopping anytime soon, Prime Video released Butterfly in a hopeful attempt to capture the same audience. After its Aug. 13 premiere on the streaming platform, Butterfly has received less-than-desirable reviews with only a 72% score on Rotten Tomatoes. It's possible the series needs more time for word of mouth to grow and for audiences to catch up. "Though the series has all of the components that make for a compelling thriller, it's more smoke and mirrors than gritty character-driven material," commented Variety in their review of the series. Some of the reviews aren't 100% negative, with the Los Angeles Times commenting, "The series, which is no worse and somewhat better than 'perfectly fine,' certainly has its points, Kim and Hardesty not the least among them." "While the series, created by Steph Cha and Ken Woodruff, never quite takes that intriguing premise to its fullest potential, its mix of sentiment and thrills makes for a pleasantly innocuous addition to the platform's ever-growing catalogue," reviewed The Hollywood Reporter. Butterfly is a six-episode spy thriller based on the Boom! Studio graphic novel series created by Arash Amel. Lost alum Daniel Dae Kim stars as David Jung, a former U.S. intelligence operative who faked his death nine years ago to protect his family. Now living in South Korea, his life is upended when he becomes determined to reunite with his daughter, Rebecca (Reina Hardesty). But she's not the young girl she once was and is now a skilled assassin working for Caddis, a sinister spy organization led by David's former partner, Juno (Piper Perabo). The only problem is that Rebecca has been tasked with eliminating David, unaware that her father is alive. Butterfly is a whirlwind story of family and espionage, as Rebecca's loyalty lies with Juno after she was abandoned by David. Butterfly is available to stream on Prime Video. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley gave fans a taste of Bethpage excitement
Take away the massive build-out already in place for the 45th Ryder Cup to be played in late September, and Monday was an otherwise routine day at Bethpage State Park. The driving range was bustling, with every hitting bay occupied by players displaying all fashions — from fancy, name-brand golf attire and gaudy belts to those in cargo shorts, untucked shirts and tattoos covering their arms and legs. By around 1 p.m. around the Red Course, though, the energy changed. Keegan Bradley, the U.S. Ryder Cup captain and an adopted New Yorker as a former player on the St. John's golf team, which played college matches on the Red, was cruising around the course with his wife, Jillian, sitting alongside him in his red captain's golf cart, both sipping transfusion cocktails.
