Daily Mirror5 hours ago

One Love Island star is making a return to reality television as they announced their participation in Netflix's Perfect Match
Love Island star Scott van-der-Sluis revealed he'll be back on our screens again for another dating competition. The TV personality rose to fame on Love Island UK but failed to find love with anyone there. Not long after, he jetted across the pond to join the cast of the US version in series five.
Scott wasn't done with his journey yet, as he later took part in the ultimate crossover series, Love Island Games. His friends and fans have made jokes about his lengthy Love Island journey, with Scott even joining in on the fun. And now, it looks like the Welsh star is giving it one more shot, but this time with Netflix series Perfect Match.

Along with a cast photo from the show, Scott shared on social media: "You lot thought I was done? Nah Representing @loveisland on international TV. AUGUST 1ST @netflix BE THERE."
Perfect Match, hosted by Nick Lachey, features contestant from other Netflix reality shows who pair up and compete in challenges.
As they compete to form relationships, the most compatible couples play matchmaker and have the power to break up other couples by sending them on dates with new singles they'll invite into the villa. The Netflix series expanded this year by adding Love Island and Bachelor stars into the reality TV mix.
After sharing the news, Scott's Love Island pals rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts on him being on another reality show.
Catherine Agbaje said: "Let's see what craziness you've cooked up this time," while Whitney Adebayo posted: "He's backkkk," with a laughing emoji.
Tyrique Hyde commented: "Go on sonnnnnnn," and Love Island US star Jana Craig wrote: "Yeahhh go Scott!!" Mitchel Taylor, better known as Messy Mitch, reposted the announcement and added: "What a guy," with a laughing emoji.
This year's Perfect Match includes stars from The Bachelor, Love Is Blind UK and US, Love Island UK and US, Battle Camp, The Ultimatum, Siesta Key, Too Hot To Handle, Temptation Island, Dated & Related, The Mole and The Circle.
Scott rose to fame on the 2023 version of Love Island., where he and Catherine developed a promising relationship.

However, their connection faced a significant challenge during the Casa Amor segment when Catherine returned to the main villa with newcomer Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, leaving Scott single and vulnerable.
Following their time on the show, Catherine and Elom parted ways, leading fans to hope for a rekindling of the romance between Scott and Catherine.

'I'm a TV Editor and these are the 5 Disney+ shows I'm bingeing'

I watch TV for a living and if you're looking for your next favourite show, these are the five which should be on your radar With so many streaming services to choose from, it's hard to decide what to watch. Do you want to enjoy a comedy, drama or action series? Fortunately, you don't need to spend time scrolling through the channels to find your next binge watch. As a TV editor I spend all day watching the latest releases and I've got five excellent recommendations on Disney+ for you to try. And, even better news, with Disney+'s new promotion, until June 30, new and returning customers can subscribe to Disney+ Standard with Ads for £1.99 per month for four months – a saving of £12 compared to the regular monthly price for four months. This makes Disney+ the cheapest major streamer compared to the lowest subscription tiers from Netflix (£5.99), Prime Video (£5.99) and Apple TV+ (£8.99). In comparison to the likes of Netflix, and Prime Video, Disney+ is more reliant on franchises when it comes to its streaming content, including Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel. The Bear Since it arrived on Disney+ in 2022, The Bear has become one of the most popular series and there's a reason for that. Following Carmy, a young chef who trained in fine dining, he takes over the family sandwich shop, which is struggling, after a devastating death. Working alongside an eclectic team of kitchen staff and his family, he fights to make the business a success and find happiness. The series is set to return for its fourth season this month and the synopsis reads: "Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto, Sydney Adamu and Richard 'Richie' Jerimovich push forward, determined not only to survive, but also to take The Bear to the next level. With new challenges around every corner, the team must adapt, adjust and overcome. This season, the pursuit of excellence isn't just about getting better – it's about deciding what's worth holding on to." The cast stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach with guest appearances from Olivia Colman and Will Poulter. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives One of the most addictive series on Disney+ right now. Everyone I have recommended this show too has become obsessed after just one episode. The series follows a group of Mormon mum influencers who get caught in the middle of a swinging sex scandal. As they navigate relationships, struggling friendships, betrayal, pregnancy and making their MomTok business a success, you'll be gripped by the drama. And, good news is that once you've raced through series one and two, you can tune into the Reunion on July 1. High Potential This series quietly dropped on Disney+ earlier this year, but it wasn't long before it gained a Rotten Tomatoes score of 96%. Following Morgan, a single mum of three, she has high intellectual potential, meaning she has an exceptional mind. She goes from being a cleaner to helping the LA police solve murders while trying to be the best mum she can. With Kaitlin Oslon leading the cast and 13 episodes to get through, this series should be top of your must watch list. Welcome to Wrexham Currently on its fourth season, Welcome to Wrexham follows Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney after they bought Wrexham football club. They learn about running a club and making a positive impact on the town as they try to take the team to the Premier League. This heartwarming series isn't just about football - it also focusses on the local community. If you haven't tuned into the series yet, this is your sign to start watching. Rivals With an all-star cast and plenty of drama, Rivals is a must-watch. Based on Jilly Cooper's 1988 novel, it follows the rivalry between MP Rupert Campbell-Black, Tony Baddingham. Tony runs a TV station located in Rutshire along with Declan O'Hara, who is married to actress Maud, and American producer Cameron Cook. Featuring affairs, fights and debauchery. Filming for the second series is already underway with fans excited to see what the future holds for the residents of Rutshire. Writing on Trustpilot, one subscriber said: "Very good selection, friendly support and easy to cancel if you need to. Very easy to navigate their site and the openness and transparency they show should be a model for others." A more mixed review said: "The content library is extensive and impressive. However, the streaming quality is inconsistent." But this five-star review said: "Disney+ has consistently delivered high-quality streaming content, from classic Disney movies to new releases, along with a wealth of popular TV shows and original content.

Maya Jama puts on a very busty display in a £2,500 mini Versace dress ahead of her return to the Love Island villa in Majorca

Maya Jama put on a very busty display in a £2,500 mini Versace dress ahead of her return to the Love Island villa in Majorca on Wednesday. The ITV star, 30, splits her time between the London and the Spanish island while hosting the series. Taking to Instagram, Maya stunned as she wore the vintage spring/ summer 2005 runway embellished logo cutout bustier dress. She added inches to her statuesque frame as she slipped into a pair of orange 1990s crocodile leather Giuseppe Zanotti mules. To accessorise, Maya accessorised her vintage ensemble with a pair of huge white earrings. Alongside her post she penned: 'Your bad news bringer back in the villa (sic)' Her post came hours after she turned heads as she shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the ITV show. Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Maya wowed in a tiny white string bikini as she posed for a sizzling selfie. She then shared a snap of a dreamy table on a balcony that overlook the stunning views of the Spanish landscape. This was followed by another photo of some delicious sushi and wine with the ITV crew. This year, the TV show host is drawing on a wardrobe of vintage pieces pulled from clothes designer archives. So far, Maya has worn a vintage Versace swimsuit and a 1998 Dolce & Gabbana dress. It comes after Maya's rumoured romance with Ruben Dias was finally confirmed, following the pair's public display of affection at KSI's Baller League event in April. The presenter and the footballer, 28, are thought to have been secretly dating for several months after Maya first caught his eye when they met at the European Music Awards (EMAs) in November. She has since been seen at multiple football games over the last few months, watching Dias live in action for Man City. In April, the pair were pictured for the first time together kissing and cuddling at the football event, held at the Copper Box Arena, in a video captured by The Sun. The footage showed them with their arms around each other before he leant into her neck for a peck, with Ruben flying under the radar in casual clothes and a cap. A source told the publication of that night: 'Maya and Ruben seemed very close, very loved up and were clearly very comfortable with each other. 'They were chatting to others around them but gravitated back to each other. They seem very happy with each other.' So far, Maya has worn a vintage Versace swimsuit and a 1998 Dolce & Gabbana dress (pictured in Dolce & Gabbana) It is the first time they have been seen in public since they were thought to have started dating - though Maya has often hinted at the romance by sharing snaps of flowers she has been sent. MailOnline contacted Maya's representatives for comment at the time. Their appearance at the Baller League came just one day after she supported Ruben at Wembley as his team Manchester City triumphed 2-0 against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup. The Love Island host took her whole family to Wembley to support him. She shared a video on the way to the stadium as she penned 'family day out to Wembley' in the caption - while her mother Sadie and brother Omar sat in the car with her. Maya then shared a snap of the pitch as she watched on - while her family enjoyed the atmosphere.

Axed Love Island bombshells break silence after mass dumping and say TWO couples in the villa ‘won't last'

IT WAS an explosive night on Love Island, which saw FOUR Islanders get dumped from the villa. Now two bombshells have had their say on the current couples in the villa, and have claimed TWO of them "won't last". 5 5 5 5 The foursome were dumped after Helena, Dejon, Emily and Remell had to decide whether to couple up with one of the bombshells or stick with their villa couple. Sadly this meant four people were sent packing, and they were new Islanders Poppy, Caprice, and Will - Shea in the main villa was also dumped as Helena chose new boy Giorgio. Now the axed Islanders have been having their say, following their shock exit. Dumped Will, who was one of the new bombshells, gave his take on how he thought Helena and his pal Giorgio will work out in the villa. Speaking to ITV, he said: "I think they get on well, it's early days but I'd be surprised if they were to last." Shea then echoed this when he was asked the same question about Dejon and Meg, after he chose to stay with her in last night's recoupling. "It's a bit different with them, I'm not too sure if it's going to last," the dumped hunk said. "Just from what I was seeing it's a bit one sided from Meg's side. "Only time will tell." Love Island fans rant 'get her out' as they accuse villa girl of 'faking' her tears BRUTAL DUMPING Last night's nail biting episode saw Maya Jama enter the sleepover villa and reveal that four Islanders faced the chop. In a shock twist, the stunning host told Helena, Dejon, Emily and Remell that they had to decide if they wanted to stick in their current couple or recouple with a bombshell. In the end, only Helena decided to recouple and opted to go back with Giorgio. Dejon decided to stick with Meg, despite kissing Caprice during his time at the sleepover villa. 5 Remell hesitated but chose to stick with Alima, even though he told Poppy earlier he felt different with her and they shared a snog. That left Emily, who opted to stay with Conor- unaware of his growing connection with Megan back in the main villa - over new boy Will. As a result, Shea, Poppy, Caprice and Will were all sent home.
