Electric 2026 3-star QB is predicted to land with Texas A&M
Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class is poised to see its newest addition in the coming weeks, as consensus three-star quarterback Legend Bey, who recently visited Texas A&M this month, has now received a prediction to land with the Aggies after head coach Mike Elko offered the undersized signal caller on March 7.
Bey is being recruited as an athlete but intends to continue playing quarterback at the next level. He possesses the necessary arm strength to push the ball down the field. Still, it's his legs that have made him one of the top-performing quarterbacks in the cycle. He is coming off his elite 2024 junior season after rushing for 1,912 yards and 41 touchdowns at North Forney (TX) High School.
So far, Bey has begun to receive the attention he deserves, as Notre Dame is now a legitimate contender for his talents. However, after his recent visit to College Station, Mike Elko, and OC Collin Klein are all in on making Bey " the man" at Texas A&M, as current starting quarterback Marcel Reed possesses similar athleticism and playmaking ability.
While Bey's 1,412 passing yards and three touchdowns don't jump off the page, the film shows a player who isn't afraid to make plays through the air when needed. Like Marcel Reed, Bey will enter the collegiate ranks as a wildcat quarterback who could become a Heisman-level talent.
On Tuesday, On3 recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong predicted that Texas A&M will land a commitment from Legend Bey. Still, as I stated earlier, Notre Dame is also a top competitor moving forward.

Nebraska a frontrunner for class of 2027 Florida defensive back

Nebraska a frontrunner for class of 2027 Florida defensive back Nebraska football appears to be in a good spot for 2027 nickel back Kamauri Whitfield. The Huskers and the Florida Gators appear to be the top two teams standing out in his recruitment, according to John Garcia Jr. Whitfield is the 40th overall player in the state of Florida and the 14th overall player at his position per Rivals rankings. He has 25 offers in total, including from the likes of the Maryland Terrapins and the Wisconsin Badgers in the Big Ten. The defensive back was an impact player last season for The First Academy. He tallied 35 tackles and an interception in 10 games last season, per statistics from Currently, the Huskers only have one commitment in the 2027 class in quarterback Trae Taylor. This is going to change, as the program has several visitors lined up for the next couple of weeks. Whitfield would give Nebraska a dynamic, athletic playmaker. It is clear that they want to recruit heavily from the state of Florida, and it's clear they're making it an area of focus. Nebraska makes top five for elite class of 2026 offensive tackle

Nebraska makes top five for elite class of 2026 offensive tackle Nebraska football made the top five for 2026 four-star offensive tackle Claude Mpouma on Friday. He made the announcement on social media. The Michigan Wolverines, Ohio State Buckeyes, Florida Gators, and Auburn Tigers are the other teams on his list. Mpouma is the 178th overall player in the 2026 class, the 14th overall offensive lineman in the class, and the eighth overall player in the class from the state of Illinois per the On3 Recruiting Rankings. Mpouma has made three visits to the Huskers in the past year. He took unofficial visits on November 2 and February 1. He will then take an official visit to Lincoln on June 20. The offensive lineman has a busy schedule for June. He is currently visiting the Tigers, and he will take a trip to Gainesville to visit the Gators on June 13. The Huskers could certainly use an offensive lineman addition in the 2026 class. The class itself currently ranks 56th overall nationally per On3 rankings. Nebraska will have to beat out some elite programs for Mpouma. Nevertheless, it is encouraging that they made his top five.
