Texas A&M is a finalist to land electric 2026 3-star Athlete out of Forney (TX)

Texas A&M is a finalist to land electric 2026 3-star Athlete out of Forney (TX) Texas A&M's future at quarterback will always be be muddled due to the transfer portal, but this program's culture is stonger than ever, as redshirt sophomore QB Marcel Reed returns to the lineup after trading games with Conner Weigman last season, who eventually transferred to Houston. While Reed is the option right now, preparing for the inevitable includes on the of the most electric playmakers in the 2026 class, as three-star quarterback/athlete Legend Bey, who is predicted to land with the Aggies, placed Texas A&M in his Top 5 program list, joining Tennessee, Ohio State, Duke, and West Virginia. All you need to do is turn on the tape to get excited about the North Forney signal caller, whose elite dual-threat running ability led to 1,912 yards on the ground and 41 touchdowns during his 2024 junior season. However, he can also sling it, throwing for over 1,400 yards and 13 touchdowns, which is why he is still being recruited as a quarterback by some programs, but will likely see time at wide receiver and even running back at the next level. After visiting Texas A&M twice this spring, Bey received a prediction to land with the Aggies ahead of his official visit to College Station on June 20. During a recent interview with GigEm247's Andrew Hattersley, Bey discussed his "strong" relationship with coach Mike Elko and his staff. "They came pretty late," Bey stated."I mean, we have a strong relationship now. I'm not even going to lie. But they came late, and they proved themselves. They did what they were supposed to do and be patient and see what I was going to do my junior year." According to 247Sports, Legend Bey is positioned as the 21st-ranked Athlete and 49th-ranked prospect in Texas. Electric 2026 3-star QB is predicted to land with Texas A&M

Electric 2026 3-star QB is predicted to land with Texas A&M Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class is poised to see its newest addition in the coming weeks, as consensus three-star quarterback Legend Bey, who recently visited Texas A&M this month, has now received a prediction to land with the Aggies after head coach Mike Elko offered the undersized signal caller on March 7. Bey is being recruited as an athlete but intends to continue playing quarterback at the next level. He possesses the necessary arm strength to push the ball down the field. Still, it's his legs that have made him one of the top-performing quarterbacks in the cycle. He is coming off his elite 2024 junior season after rushing for 1,912 yards and 41 touchdowns at North Forney (TX) High School. So far, Bey has begun to receive the attention he deserves, as Notre Dame is now a legitimate contender for his talents. However, after his recent visit to College Station, Mike Elko, and OC Collin Klein are all in on making Bey " the man" at Texas A&M, as current starting quarterback Marcel Reed possesses similar athleticism and playmaking ability. While Bey's 1,412 passing yards and three touchdowns don't jump off the page, the film shows a player who isn't afraid to make plays through the air when needed. Like Marcel Reed, Bey will enter the collegiate ranks as a wildcat quarterback who could become a Heisman-level talent. On Tuesday, On3 recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong predicted that Texas A&M will land a commitment from Legend Bey. Still, as I stated earlier, Notre Dame is also a top competitor moving forward. Notre Dame football makes the cut with 2026 Texas athlete Legend Bey

Notre Dame football makes the cut with 2026 Texas athlete Legend Bey Notre Dame football has multiple top prospects considering them, and on Thursday another one named the Irish to their top group in Texas athlete Legend Bey. He cut down his list to ten schools, with teams like Oregon, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and others vying Notre Dame for his commitment. The 5-foot, 11-inch and 175-pounder does have more than a few official visits set up, with one of them to South Bend starting on June 20th. Bey could play multiple positions at the next level, as he plays quarterback for his high school team, but also is an impressive track star as well. He's a bit on the smaller side for QB, but with his speed could be a big-time threat at wide receiver or running back. Bey is ranked as the No. 771 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Regardless of what position he lands at, it's pretty clear that Notre Dame wants him in its 2026 recruiting class.
