I ordered the cutest water fountain from Temu for just £6 – but what arrived was anything but cute, they did me dirty

A BARGAIN hunter has revealed that she ordered herself what she believed would be a stunning water feature for her garden, but what arrived was a mega fail.
Leanne Lulu Griffin confirmed that she treated herself to the garden buy which she bought from Temu, in a bid to add style and light to her outside space.

But when Leanne's order arrived, she was left in fits of hysterics at the epic fail.
Eager to show off her blunder, Leanne took to social media and shared a snap of what she ordered, alongside a picture of what she actually got.
Posting on BARGAIN LOVERS 🛍 Poundland, Home Bargains, B&M, Primark, The Range & More, a public Facebook group with 861,000 members, Leanne revealed that rather than a statue that trickles down water, she got an ornament that is totally sealed.
Not only this, but she confirmed that it doesn't look a thing like the listing and to make matters worse, it doesn't light up either.
Stunned by the failed order, Leanne penned: 'Ahhh Temu…I mean I think it's stunning.
'Didn't want it to light up and trickle water anyway.
'What I ordered vs what I got.'
Leanne bought herself the Duck Outdoor Round Water Fountain Feature, which is one of Temu 's best-selling items at the moment.
It was once £10.38 but has since been slashed by 41%, costing shoppers just £6.06.
But despite the bargain price, Leanne was disappointed with what arrived, as the Temu mega fan later explained: '[I've] been ordering from here weekly for well over a year and this is the first time Temu has done me over.'
I got a Disney travel bag from Temu for my birthday… it could've been lovely but the spelling errors had me in hysterics
Leanne shared her post just 16 hours ago but it has clearly left many in hysterics, as it has quickly racked up 2,100 likes, 431 comments and 51 shares.
Social media users were stunned by the Temu buy and many raced to the comments to share their thoughts.
One person joked: 'Think they shrink on the way.'
It's not the size that's a major issue.. looks nothing like what I thought I was getting

Another added: 'It's getting worse.'
A third commented: 'It's always a gamble with Temu, I ordered party bag bits and got little wristbands and they had spelling mistakes on.'
Meanwhile, one Temu shopper claimed: 'Omg I actually put this in my basket plus a few other garden bits.. think I'll pass.'
But at the same time, someone else slammed: 'When you don't read the description.'
Why is Temu so cheap?
TEMU exploded onto the scene in late 2022, with people all over social media raving about the low prices.
The company is a Chinese-owned digital marketplace - essentially an online shopping app where people are connected to the retailer directly while the app takes care of the shipping element.
The frenzy over the app is not completely unfounded either as it offers a wide variety of products, including fashion, make-up, electronics and furniture.
According to a report from the US House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, Temu takes advantage of a trade loophole that allows the company to ship duty-free goods directly to the US.
The loophole is called the de minimis exception and it means they can ship goods valued up to $800 (£643) to the US without it being inspected or taxed by US customs.
Temu connects customers directly to manufacturers and only manages how the items are sent to customers.
It means Chinese vendors can essentially sell their products directly to customers and ship it without building a network of warehouses across the globe.
By doing this, they cut down on huge costs and ensure the product itself isn't marked up extra.
While many of the products seen on the Temu app are from brands with extensive, original collections, many more are dupes of designer brands.
However, to this, Leanne wrote back and confirmed: 'I did read the description!
'It's not the size that's a major issue.. looks nothing like what I thought I was getting.'
Temu shoppers fume
And it's not just Leanne who wasn't impressed with this garden statue, as someone else shared: 'I ordered this as well.. I couldn't stop laughing when I opened it!
'I've kept it for the giggles hahaha it is shocking, my duck 's face is painted with boss eyes not to mention the baby's beaks.'
Not only this, but numerous Temu shoppers have raced to the website to also share their disappointment at the garden feature.
One user snapped: 'The quality of the item is awful.'
A second chimed in: 'Nothing like the picture - rubbish.'

Car pool chaos as rock 'n' Rolls-Royce recreates The Who's swimming stunt

Readers with any mechanical sympathies may want to look away now, after a £500,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom ended up in the Tinside Lido swimming pool in Plymouth. However, this wasn't the climax of a drunken billionaire's wild night out. In fact, it was actually Rolls-Royce itself which deposited the six-metre long Phantom Extended – a retired prototype destined for recycling – in the pool. The stunt is part of the British marque's ongoing celebrations for the Phantom's 100th birthday, and a tribute to the car's role in music history over the past century – specifically, the debauchery and excess of rock 'n' roll. Advertisement - Article continues below The company was inspired by the antics of Keith Moon, the immensely talented and famously destructive drummer for sixties Mod legends The Who. The story goes that during his 21st birthday party, 'Moon the Loon', as he was known, drove a Rolls-Royce into the swimming pool of The Holiday Inn in Flint, Michigan. Accounts of the night vary wildly, and it's possible no car went for a swim, but nevertheless the story has become the stuff of legend. Moon died in 1978, but 23 August 2025 would have been his 79th birthday, so now at least one Rolls-Royce has definitely ended up wet because of him. Rolls-Royce used the Tinside Lido not because it was the only place that would shut down its pool on a hot summer day, but because it was apparently part of the backdrop in a photograph of The Beatles taken in September 1967, when the Fab Four visited while filming for The Magical Mystery Tour. John Lennon was, of course, one of the Phantom's most famous owners, and in 1972 he unveiled his psychedelic yellow Phantom V. Countless other music legends have played a role in the car's history, including Duke Ellington, Fred Astaire, Count Basie, Elvis Presley, Sir Elton John and Snoop Dogg. Today, Rolls-Royce is mentioned in rap and hip hop songs more than any other car brand. 'From the Golden Age of Hollywood to the rise of hip-hop, over the last 100 years, music artists have used Phantom to project their identity and challenge convention,' said Chris Brownridge, CEO of Rolls-Royce. 'Their motor cars often became icons in their own right, with a lasting place in the history of modern music. 'This enduring connection reminds us that Rolls-Royce and the extraordinary people who are part of the marque's story are united by one ambition: to make their presence felt.' I'm A Celebrity bosses 'are lining up Emmerdale star Lisa Riley as the first star to enter the famous jungle for the new series'

Emmerdale star Lisa Riley is reportedly being lined up as the first star to take part in this year's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! The actress, 49, has played Mandy Dingle on the legendary soap for 30 years, making a bombshell return to the village six years ago. Now, sources are claiming that Lisa is in advanced talks with bosses to move into the Australia jungle when the show returns in November. The soap star has made it no secret that she is a fan of the show, meaning she could follow in the footsteps of many Dales favourites such as Danny Miller, Gemma Atkinson and Adam Thomas by taking part in the show. A source told The Sun: 'Lisa is the perfect celebrity for the show because not only is she from a soap watched by millions she's one of its biggest characters and it's an ITV show to boot. 'She also has a naughty, mischievous sense of humour which is guaranteed to get a big response from her other celebrity campmates during their time in the jungle. 'Lisa is by no means the first star from Emmerdale to have gone on I'm a Celebrity and those that do always tend to get a great response from viewers at home.' Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Lisa Riley and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! for comment.. Lisa, who turns 50 next year, previously shared her hopes of taking part in the show, saying: 'I'm A Celebrity... is something I would do before I turned 50 as a test for myself.' Last year's series saw McFly's Danny Jones crowned series champion, beating a star-studded lineup that included Coleen Rooney, Maura Higgins, GK Barry and Reverend Richard Coles. However, the married singer has since courted controversy, as in March he was filmed sharing a drunken kiss with his campmate Maura. Lisa first joined the cast of Emmerdale as Mandy Dingle in 1995, but left the soap six years later. She went onto land a string of other roles including Fat Friends and Waterloo Road, and in 2013 she competed on Strictly Come Dancing. 18 years after her soap exit, Lisa returned to Emmerdale, admitting that after being asked about reprising her role for years by fans, she finally realised she never had a reason not to return. She said: 'I'm the type of person that must have an answer, I can't leave anything open ended. 'I was working for Strictly in doing a Q and A and there were 4,000 people asking me when I was going back to Emmerdale. But I've had that since the day I left.' Earlier this month, it was reported that ITV were planning to keep I'm A Celebrity on screens for the next five years, bringing the show up to a landmark 30th series. Sources claimed ITV have opened talks with Australian bosses to secure the area of jungle where they film until 2030.
