Disney reveals first look at new Cars-themed land opening at the theme park

Called Piston Peak, the new land will allow fans to enter the fictional world of Cars with a National Park twist.

For those familiar with Walt Disney World Resort, the new area will be added to Frontierland to the right of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Disney announced that it will be the "largest expansion in the history of Magic Kingdom."
Inside will be a visitor lodge, Ranger HQ, trails and, of course, there will be new attractions added to the land too.
One will allow visitors to race through the mountains on wild terrain, avoiding geysers and mud holes.
The creative team is also developing new race car personalities for the attraction.
Each vehicle on the ride will have its own name and number, similar to real-life race cars.
In order to develop the new land, Disney is set to close Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Liberty Square Riverboat beginning July 7, 2025.
On the Disney Parks blog which explained more about the park, it detailed: 'From the outside, trees will provide a natural barrier between the off-road rally and other parts of Frontierland and Liberty Square.
"Rugged mountains with dramatic peaks will be nestled along a calming waterway across from Grizzly Hall and soaring geysers from the famed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will stretch into the trails of our off-road rally.'
Plans also reveal there are lots of water elements in the park, including a waterfall.

Disney has not yet announced an opening date for the attraction.
Walt Disney World will see other new additions, like a new hotel.
The Disney Lakeshore Lodge, which was formerly called Reflections Lakeside Lodge, is a nature-inspired resort being built on the former River Country water park on Bay Lake.
Originally announced in October 2018, this Lakeside/Lakeshore Lodge will 'be a celebration of Walt Disney's lifelong love and respect for nature."
It will have more than 900 hotel rooms and Disney Vacation Club villas.
It is set to include treehouse suites and waterfront cabins and the opening date is currently 2027.
In 2027, Disney World will introduce a new area called Tropical Americas in Animal Kingdom, replacing DinoLand USA.
This new land will feature an Encanto -themed attraction, a re-themed Indiana Jones attraction, and a carousel. It will be inspired by Central and South America.

In Europe, Disneyland Paris is going through a transformation too.
It's adding a whole new area called Disney Adventure World, which will also eventually replace Walt Disney Studios Park.
One of the very first areas to open will be the World of Frozen, and the Kingdom of Arendelle will open its gates in 2026.
It will include an all-new attraction called Frozen Ever After, and there will be an immersive shopping and dining experiences.
Also, Disney Adventure World will feature a new "Lion King" themed area and log flume ride.
In the works is Adventure Bay which is a central lake set to be built as part of the revamp.
One Sun Writer went behind the scenes to take a look at the land in development.
On the waters, Disney Destiny recently unveiled its newest ship to Disney's cruise ship fleet and this one will be themed around classic Disney villains and heroes.
On the cruise ship, characters that are expected to a make an appearance include Marvel superheroes and traditional villains such as Maleficent, Loki, and Dr. Facilier.
One right here in Europe.
Disney also recently brought back its free dining plans which can save families up to £1,119.

Argent and Lydia's love story started off screen nearly two decades ago when they were teens and their drama-filled romance made legendary TV on the ITVBe show - gripping viewers with its constant twists and turns. They split in 2012, and Argent was accused of calling her a "sl*t" in text messages after learning she'd slept with someone else following their separation. Despite this, they have maintained a close friendship and Lydia views Argent as an uncle to her daughter, Loretta, five. She has stuck by her ex and close friend following his arrest and insists he's not a violent man. A friend who knows both Lydia and Arg very well tells The Sun: 'When it comes to what happened with Arg and Nicoline, Lydia would never condone violence and has made that very clear to James, but she doesn't think that he is a violent man and she knows he deeply regrets the events of that night. "She has stuck by him, even though she doesn't agree with his actions - just as his other mates like Mark Wright have." Lydia was also there for Argent when his weight ballooned to nearly 30 stone amid drug and food addiction. Nicoline Artursson's statement in full It's now been a month. I still can't believe it. My fractures on my body have finally healed but I'm wounded inside. I've been quiet long enough. Silence protects no one - and it almost destroyed me. What started as a love story sadly turned into something else. Behind the pictures, promises and the plans for a life together - the beautiful days - changed into something into sadness with emotional manipulation and eventually physical harm. I loved deeply, believed in our future and stood by someone I thought would protect me and instead I was left alone and harmed in ways I never imagined. I was not only failed by him but deeply affected by the presence of unresolved ties to his past. Yes I posted an Instagram story with a simple yes or no question about if your ex should be a part of your present relationship. I felt there were too many people in our relationship: me, my boyfriend and his ex. 'Three's a crowd', they say. I asked so many times if we could be just the two of us, but the answer was a strong NO. I experienced what I can only describe as targeted emotional distress which he allowed to continue. The ex and her family put us through so much misery and false accusations, I won't go into details. They had no reason whatsoever to do what they did to us, but for some reason they wouldn't let go and let us enjoy our love. Everybody knows that real friends support you and want to see you happy. So I posted a story on Instagram. After being together for one year my boyfriend finally promised me that he would have boundaries. He would put a stop to all that had been going on for months. But he didn't. Instead he broke the promise and her controlling behaviour continued. The rest is history. I was brutally thrown out of our new home in the middle of the night wearing only my pyjamas. I opened the door to let him in and only minutes after I found myself laying down on the stairs outside our house. My clothes and belongings were being thrown out from the balcony down on me. I was injured. Thanks to incredible neighbours who heard and saw what happened and acted, I got help. They called police, brought me to safety and ensured the incident was taken seriously. A gentleman does not abuse you and end up in jail and call you the love of his life. A gentleman does not blame you for his actions. A gentleman will confide in his partner, family and close circle of friends, keeping them close and safe. A gentleman chooses you always and leaves the past in the past - including exes. Life is to be lived together and not to please people who want to take advantage of you. At the end of the day, fame can only do so much - it's all about being strong and growing together. Life is simply not a reality TV show, life is real. I have tried to understand why. I have cried so many tears thinking about the way he chose to hurt me. He said he loved me and I believed him and here we are. There is now a legal record of what happened. Violence has no excuse - no matter how much love preceded it. To those who questioned me for staying as long as I did: I stayed because I believed in love. I believed he and we could grow, could heal, could choose peace. But love doesn't survive in chaos. And it cannot survive where violence lives. To every woman reading this: if you've ever questioned your worth, your safety or your sanity in a relationship - this is your sign. You deserved to be loved with care and integrity. And you are not alone. To the men: real strength is protection. Real love is safe. Be the kind of man who lifts women up - not one who breaks them down, neither by violence or silence. To the future: never say never. I will get the little family I've always dreamed of and have my dream wedding to symbolise and celebrate true love in front of my dear family and friends. I'm healing now. Slowly, bravely and unapologetically. I will rise and I will use my voice - not for vengeance but for truth. For every woman who's been silenced by someone who said 'I love you' and then proved otherwise. This is not just my story. It's a reminder: abuse - whether emotional, psychological or physical - has no place in love. 5 Nicoline finally spoke in depth about the domestic abuse she suffered at the hands of James Credit: Instagram

I sat next to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on their glitzy date night... what I saw left me shaking
A Taylor Swift superfan has lifted the lid on the signer's date night with Travis Kelce after sitting next to the loved-up couple at a glitzy Palm Beach restaurant this week. The NFL star and his 14-time Grammy Award winning girlfriend visited Buccan, a James Beard-nominated restaurant, in the ritzy Florida neighborhood, leaving the establishment hand-in-hand and greeted fans before leaving in a black SUV. And Pamela Goodman, a 69-year-old Swiftie, had a front row seat to the couple's PDA-packed display after making impromptu dinner plans at the upscale bistro. 'They were a giggly couple on a date. They were just adorable!' Goodman told Page Six after being seated next to the A-Listers in the cozy back corner of the establishment. 'Trust me, this is true love. This is not fake. They're real. They're adorable,' she claimed. 'They're friendly and they're just everything that those of us who are Swifties really believe they are. I saw it up close and personal.' The superfan, who belongs to Swift fan groups on Facebook, said she was vaguely aware of the couple being seated and claimed she was left 'shaking' when she realized who the new arrivals were. After Buccan's owner checked with Goodman and her friend that they were 'cool' with the VIP guests, she observed the pop star and tight end's adorable interactions. She said that the 'gorgeous couple' shared a menu and food, sipped on cocktails and shared many kisses and laughs. While the respectful diners left Swift and Kelce unbothered throughout the evening, Goodman couldn't resist sharing some sweet words as she passed their table while exiting the restaurant. 'I stood up and said, "Excuse me, I don't mean to interrupt, but I'm probably one of your oldest and biggest Swifties in the planet'" and she (Swift) laughed,' Goodman told the outlet. 'I said, "I just had to stop and congratulate you on the re-ownership of your masters. I'm so, so happy for you. Congratulations."' 'I noticed you! You are so beautiful,' the songstress acknowledged, shaking Goodman's hand, 'Thank you so much!' Swift last week shared a letter on her website to announce she had bought back the rights to her music. The 'Fortnight' hitmaker purchased her catalog of recordings that were first released through Big Machine Records. It has taken her six years to close the deal. Justin Bieber's old manager Scooter Braun's company Ithaca Holdings bought the catalog in 2019 before Shamrock Capital acquired it from him a year later. She acquired those six albums and associated visuals from their most recent owner, Shamrock, for an undisclosed nine-figure sum. Goodman then turned to Kelce, revealing that, having lived in Kansas City for seven years, she was a lifelong Chiefs fan. She wished the three-time Super Bowl winner the best of luck for the upcoming season after he decided earlier this year to return to the league rather than hang up his cleats. She said that Kelce was just as warm in his response as his megastar girlfriend, also holding out his hand to shake. Buccan is located a short drive away from Kelce's $20million mansion in nearby Boca Raton. Swift and Kelce have been enjoying time together before the 35-year-old tight end has to report to training camp next month before the beginning of the NFL regular season in September. Kelce's mindset coming into the NFL season has been questioned after his drop in individual success from last year and his wait to confirm he was coming back to the Chiefs for this fall. The 6-foot-5 Kelce's 823 receiving yards and three touchdowns were each his lowest since his rookie season a dozen years ago, where he barely touched the field. The tight end's blossoming media career outside the NFL was blamed as a distraction, as well as his romance with Swift.
