AEW Dynamite Preview For February 5: Swerve Strickland vs. Ricochet, MJF To Appear
AEW Dynamite comes to you live from Atlanta's Gateway Center Arena in Georgia. Here's what's on tap for the show.
Before she faces Mariah May at Grand Slam Australia, Toni Storm will go one-on-one with Queen Aminata in singles action. Speaking of Mariah, the AEW Women's World Champion will be on commentary for the match.
Will Ospreay previously defeated Brian Cage on AEW Dynamite. Tonight, 'The Aerial Assassin' will take on another member of The Don Callis Family. Ospreay and Omega were jumped by the group following Ospreay's win over Cage last week.
AEW Dynamite is billing this as an International All-Star Tag Team Match. For those unaware, King and Matthews will be referred to as Hounds of Hell after the pair, alongside Julia Hart, announced they were moving on from Malakai Black.
Hangman Page and MJF both will be on Dynamite this week. The two men have bumped into each other on numerous occasions over the past several weeks. MJF is also locked in a feud with Jeff Jarrett; he attacked the legend on last week's show.
The rivalry between Ricochet and Swerve Strickland has heated up in recent weeks, and the two foes will finally collide in singles action. Strickland confronted Ricochet several weeks ago during a backstage segment. Swerve and Prince Nana then embarrassed Ricochet with toilet paper at Worlds End. Ricochet retaliated by cutting open Strickland with a pair of scissors. This bloody feud enters its next chapter tonight.
WrestleZone will have full coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs tonight.

Tay Melo Returns On AEW Fyter Fest
Tay Melo has officially returned to AEW. During Wednesday's episode of AEW Fyter Fest, Melo shocked the crowd by returning. She showed up just as Megan Bayne was about to throw Anna Jay off the stage, and immediately caused chaos. She got into it with Penelope Ford (who was on hand with Bayne) and then brawled with Bayne. Advertisement Officials had to run in and break things up, but Melo was clearly still ready to go, trying to egg Bayne on the whole time. Melo has been away from All Elite Wrestling television for over two years. The superstar was last seen in AEW in January 2023, and took a break at AEW Double or Nothing, when she announced she was pregnant. Melo recently returned to the world of wrestling at STARDOM earlier this year. Prior to her departure from AEW, she was teaming with Anna Jay, which explains her helping the superstar tonight. It's unclear what she'll up to be in AEW now, however. What do you think? Are you excited for Tay Melo's return to All Elite Wrestling? Will she team up with Anna Jay again? What do you think she should do? Let us know in the comments below. Huge Matches Signed For AEW Summer Blockbuster
AEW Summer Blockbuster is going to be a big one, with two matches already confirmed for the event. During Wednesday's episode of AEW's Fyter Fest, Will Ospreay took to the ring alongside Tony Schiavone. He said he regrets trying to pair up Adam Page and Swerve Strickland, and has since adjusted his focus. In a surprising moment, Ospreay then challenged Strickland to a singles match at the upcoming TV special. The match was later confirmed by the show. Ospreay and Strickland met each other in the ring at last year's Forbidden Door pay-per-view in an instant classic. In that match, Strickland walked out the winner, something Ospreay hopes to change this time around. Advertisement Elsewhere in the show, it was also confirmed that The Hurt Syndicate would take on Speedball Bailey, Komander, and Kevin Knight in a trios match during the show. AEW Summer Blockbuster is set to take place on June 11, 2025, and will be held at the Theater of the Clouds at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
