Ravens fans return kind gesture, donate thousands to Dalton Kincaid charity after crucial drop in Bills' loss
Buffalo Bills fans rallied around Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews after his critical drop during the AFC divisional round ended the team's hopes of reaching the Super Bowl. Now Baltimore fans are returning that support.
Last week, a GoFundMe campaign was created to support Andrews' charity, Breakthrough T1D, which is aimed at supporting children with diabetes. The campaign raised over $140,000 through more than 4,000 donations.
Bills fans donated to the cause and shared messages on the campaign voicing their support for Andrews.
"Donated from Bills Mafia, we've been there. Keep your head up, you're an amazing player and you caught so many to get your team to get close in this game. Move on and continue to do all your good works," one message of support read.
But after the Bills' loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game, Buffalo tight end Dalton Kincaid found himself in a similar situation.
On fourth down with the Bills trailing by three late in the fourth quarter, Josh Allen, who was under pressure by the Chiefs defense, threw a pass into the air. Kincaid was right there, but the pass fell through his hands, effectively ending Buffalo's playoff run.
Likely facing similar criticism, Ravens fans saw the opportunity to return the favor.
"As many of you know, Bills TE Dalton Kincaid made a phenomenal attempt to catch Josh Allens last pass of the season but couldn't haul it in, upsetting a lot of Bills fans," a GoFundMe campaign created this week read.
"We want Ravens flock to donate to Summit Center for autism, the charity Dalton works with and try and return the favor Bills mafia did for us and Mark Andrews. Let's raise what we can, please repost!"
As of Tuesday, more than 400 donations have been made totaling over $13,000.
Kincaid has supported the Summit Center before through the NFL's "My Cause My Cleats" initiative this past season.

Multiple defensive linemen left in free agency, signing lucrative deals elsewhere. The fact that the Eagles allowed a player like Josh Sweat to walk proved that they are thinking about the future, knowing they need to break the bank on some younger homegrown players. If the rules applied to a guy like Sweat, who spent his entire career with the Eagles, then they would have to apply to Hendrickson as well. Never say never when it comes to Howie Roseman in the trade market, but Hendrickson's chances of going to Philadelphia were already slim. The fact that extension talks have picked back up, that could be a sign that Hendrickson is one of the top names off the trade block soon.

It has often been said that football is a game of inches, and it is. That has been proven time and time again at every level. Think about something for a second. If so many controversial discussions can be born by discussing inches, think how the field expands if we begin mentioning yards. Had Jahan Dotson's knee hit the turf one yard further than it had during his first catch in Super Bowl 59, he would have scored the Philadelphia Eagles' first touchdown in football's biggest game. Being stopped one yard short of the goal also prevented the Tennessee Titans from lining up to kick a potential game-tying field goal in Super Bowl 34. Instead, what was then Dick Vermeil's Saint Louis Rams raised the Vince Lombardi Trophy as Philadelphia fans celebrated for their former head coach but wondered when it might be their turn. Which brings us back to Jahan Dotson... An offense that doesn't air it out very often can't be surprised when the fourth option/third receiver doesn't receive many targets. However, as many are thinking, in a more balanced attack, things could change for Dotson during his second season in Eagles green. Much of the media, many fans, and several voices on Philadelphia sports radio are in favor of an expanded role. The Inquirer's Jeff McLane even made mention this offseason of him catching "every pass" he logged during three open workouts. Nick Sirianni has always been frank in stating the offensive attack runs through Jalen Hurts, A.J., DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley, and Dallas Goedert (as it should), but their WR3, Dotson, could enjoy more looks if Jalen is asked to air the ball out more. Jahan has enjoyed some chemistry with Hurts since his arrival, and thanks to his familiarity with the offense, discussions around camp center around him being more relaxed and off to a better start than he was when he arrived in the City of Brotherly Love last offseason. Don't expect 60 catches or more. Don't bank on a long-term, high-dollar extension being offered at season's end. After all, Philadelphia declined the fifth-year option on his rookie contract. This could be a massive year for Dotson by simply making the most of his opportunities when they come his way. That request seems feasible because, though this isn't discussed very often, no one would be wrong by stating that Philadelphia could do a lot worse than employing Jahan Dotson as the third wide receiver on their roster. He's going to do fine for this team this season.

Every position on the defense features an All-Pro or a star in the making. The offense is loaded with game-changers. A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley, and Dallas Goedert can score on any given play. The offensive line is the best in the business. Much of the young core is locked up and under contract for the foreseeable future. This is an exciting time to be an Eagles fan. Conversations about the depth will dominate the summer, and they may have found some in one of their young tight ends. Add Nick Muse to the Eagles' training camp and preseason watch list Though it isn't discussed as often now as it was when the news was fresh, one of the best stories of the offseason came when everyone learned that Dallas Goedert will remain in Philadelphia to play out the final year of his current deal before potentially entering the free-agency conversation next offseason. His backup is a former sixth-round selection who enters his fourth season at the professional level. Grant Calcaterra seems assured of a roster spot. The question is who the third guy might end up being. NBC Sports' Reuben Frank recently mentioned Nick Muse in his Roob's Observations column, mentioning a recent catch as one of the offseason's highlights: "Why are we even talking about Nick Muse? Because at the last OTA practice on Tuesday, he made the best catch of the spring, laying out to make a diving snag of a Kyle McCord pass. Muse also had a sweet TD catch from McCord earlier in the same practice. Those catches came after TV cameras had to shut down, so you'll never see them. But they were eye-opening." Muse, like Calcaterra, was drafted in the 2022 NFL Draft, albeit 29 spots later and in Round 7. He played his college ball with the William & Mary Tribe during the 2017 and 2018 NCAA seasons before transferring to the South Carolina Gamecocks and logging three seasons in the SEC. His professional career began with the Minnesota Vikings, but he won a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Eagles' practice squad last season. Now, he earns his opportunity to battle for a roster spot, but the climb won't be easy. Philadelphia has seven tight ends on the preseason roster, and Muse is battling E.J. Jenkins, Cameron Latu, Kylen Granson, and Harrison Bryant for what, in all likelihood, is one spot on the roster.
