Earlier in the day, Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie were seen sharing a warm embrace.
King Charles was later seen talking to the family during day four of the races.
Sarah is an outspoken philanthropist, and has appeared at various royal events in recent years, despite divorcing Prince Andrew in 1996.
The pair have two children together - Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
It comes after the King suffered a streak of bad horseracing luck on day one of the event.
The family horse, Reaching High, suffered a 'stinker' in the closing stages under jockey Ryan Moore.
Meanwhile, his horse, Rainbows Edge, was smashed into a 7-2 favourite for the Kensington Palace Stakes.
Earlier this week, Princess Kate pulled out of the event in a last minute decision as she adjusts to her royal duties.

Liverpool agree £40m fee for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez

The move has been touted for some time, with the Cherries holding out for £45m, but the PA news agency understands a compromise has been reached which will see the defender make the move to Anfield. Kerkez, 21, is viewed as the long-term successor to Andy Robertson. The Scotland international, who is in the final year of his contract, is a target for Atletico Madrid but Liverpool will not force him out the door. . Hungary international Kerkez will be the third signing of the close season, with Jeremie Frimpong already on board and his Bayer Leverkusen team-mate Florian Wirtz finalising the details of a potential British record £116m deal after flying into Merseyside for a medical on Thursday. With Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Marmadasvili set to join the squad when they reconvene next month, with a deal having been done with Valencia 12 months ago, head coach Arne Slot will have £215m of new talent available for the defence of their Premier League title. And the incomings may not be finished there as, with Leverkusen interested in 22-year-old fourth-choice centre-back Jarell Quansah in a £34m deal entirely separate to the one sending Wirtz in the opposite direction, Liverpool will be on the look-out for another central defender. Crystal Palace's England international Marc Guehi, who has a year left on his contract, is a player the club have been interested in but there will be other contenders for his signature.

Rangers ‘in transfer battle with one other club for highly-rated Croatian defender'

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) RANGERS have reportedly joined the race to sign Croatian defender Luka Jelenić. SunSport already told you how Russell Martin is closing in on moves for Max Aarons and Kwame Poku, but reports in Croatia now suggest the manager is looking at a new centre-back too. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Luka Jelenic playing for NK Osijek Credit: Alamy Jelenić, 25, is believed to be on his way out of his current club Osijek this summer just one year after they signed him from league rivals NK Varaždin for a fee of around €800,000 (£685,000). He made 40 appearances across all competitions last season - 32 in the league as Osijek finished seventh. Jelenić even featured four times on the continental stage but his side failed to qualify for the Europa Conference League after losing on penalties to Zira FC in the third round. The defender still has two years left on his contract after penning a three-year deal last summer but Croatian outlet 24Sata state that he's expected to leave the club in the coming weeks amid growing interest. In the report it's suggested Rangers are set to battle it out with Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes for his signature. The 25-year-old was a key player under the manager who signed him, Federico Coppitelli, and current gaffer Simon Rožman - who took over in March. But after failing to qualify for Europe this year, it's likely the club will cash in for a nice profit. It's unclear just how much Osijek will as for, but they are hopeful of securing "serious money" for their prized asset. Their sporting director Alen Petrovic has revealed the club need to sell first before they enter the transfer market themselves - so a quick deal could be on the cards. The club have reportedly made it clear they are willing to part ways with Jelenić and team-mate Rok Jurišić this summer.
