Simply Red concert film given woke trigger warning because it features Mick Hucknall singing about SEX
SIMPLY Red fans are being warned a new concert film features the band's frisky frontman Mick Hucknall singing about sex.
Viewers are cautioned they will hear lyrics about 'making love and sexual attraction'.

Other trigger warnings on the film, marking the Manchester band's 40th anniversary, include ones for boozing and mild bad language.
Holding Back the Years — 40 Years of Simply Red, Live in Santiago is released in cinemas today and features hits from a Chile gig in March including Something Got Me Started, If You Don't Know Me By Now and It's Only Love Doing Its Thing.
Despite being rated U and suitable for all ages, The British Board of Film Classification warns: 'Song lyrics occasionally make brief, undetailed verbal references to 'making love' and to sexual attraction.
'People are briefly shown drinking alcohol.' It also warns of 'infrequent very mild bad language', including the word 'damn'.
Toby Young, of the Free Speech Union, blasted: 'Does a concert film about a supergroup really need a trigger warning about references to sex and scenes in which alcohol is consumed? You might as well warn viewers that the film may contain rock and roll.'
Simply Red singer Mick, 64, once claimed to have slept with more than 3,000 women in just three years.
In 2010 he told an interviewer that between 1985 and 1987 he had sex with up to three women a day.
He said: 'When I had the fame, it went crazy. I never said no. This was what I wanted from being a pop star. I was living the dream and my only regret is that I hurt some really good girls.'
He later added: 'I regret the philandering. I'm truly sorry.'
The BBFC has been slammed for slapping trigger warnings on comedy classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail ahead of its 50th anniversary rerelease this year.

"Sam was adored by his family. As a son, brother and nephew, he was loyal, funny and fiercely protective." His last Instagram post showed the contestant enjoying a stunning beach in Australia. Posting from Whithaven Beach, he captioned it: "This place needs to be on people's bucket list, pure beauty." He posed with parrots and showed off the gorgeous coastline in January 2024. Before his death, Sam had been working on the west coast of Scotland as a landscape gardener before making the journey down to Stockport, Greater Manchester. He had travelled south for a family birthday celebration earlier this week, according to his uncle. Speaking on Sam's time on the popular BBC show, Andrew added: "Race Across The World opened his eyes to the wonder of adventure and travel. "He was willing to go wherever the trail might lead and he touched everyone he met on the road. "He found great happiness working as a landscape gardener on the west coast of Scotland. "Sam brought warmth, laughter and a smattering of chaos wherever he went. He leaves behind a huge hole in our hearts. "We will miss him endlessly, but we'll also remember him with smiles, tall tales, and a depth of love that will never fade." The landscape gardener and his mum traversed South America in their appearance on Race Across The World. While they were unable to compete in the final leg, as they ran out of money, Sam described the experience as "life-changing". A spokesperson for the makers of Race Across The World said: "We are all deeply saddened to hear the tragic news about Sam. "Everyone who worked with him and indeed everyone who watched Sam could see just how precious and transformative the trip was for both him and his mum, Jo. "Sam embraced the seven-week trip with an energy, love and a determination that saw the pair enjoy adventures across Mexico to Argentina making audiences fall in love with them and their special bond as a result. "Since filming, both Sam and Jo have been an integral part of the Race Across The World cast family, and on behalf of us all from the BBC, production and the rest of the cast, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to his parents, Andrew and Jo; his brothers, William and Charlie; his step mum Justine; his family and friends." In light of the tragedy, a poignant clip of the landscape gardener and his mum has resurfaced. "How many 19-year-old's can say they've done this and travelled with their mum," said Sam as they looked out into a sunset. Jo replied: "I think just you really. We've got long journeys, you're trying to balance it with enjoying yourself, but also have a budget, there's bound to be stresses. "But I think our relationship is still in tact even if you find me slightly more irritating that you used to," she laughed. 'Irreplaceable' gig venue fears noise complaints from new flats
A music venue which hosts heavy metal gigs and punk bands has said it feared becoming embroiled in a noise row with residents of a new city centre tower block. The owners of Rebellion on Whitworth Street West in Manchester said they "cannot afford to fight" a legal battle if there were complaints. The application, from property firm Glenbrook, to build a £118m 44-storey development next to the bar has been approved by Manchester City local authority said it was aware of "sensitivities relating to the proximity of Rebellion to this development, and the potential noise nuisance which could be created in the future" and work was ongoing to ensure a solution. The venue's co-owner Alex Kostyakov said an appropriate acoustic assessment had not been completed and he had not been consulted by developers. "They did [the assessment] on a Friday and Saturday night and didn't event mention that we're an all-week venue in the planning submission," he said."We have heavy metal gigs on Monday nights, people moving in aren't going to be expecting that," the 31-year-old from Swinton said."If you've got a Sunday off and you're trying to relax in your flat and we've got a loud punk bank playing it's not going to work."It's about quality of life for the resident not just us." Manchester City Council said a clause in the planning agreement would ensure that work would only begin when it was "satisfied that it can take place without any noise nuisance being detected in future properties".However, Mr Kostyakov, who has co-owned the venue since 2021, said there was no way to know if there would be noise issues until residents had moved in. "The worry is that residents move in and the council turns round and says we have to pay for £50,000 worth of soundproofing," he said."Or if they say we have to be ending gigs at 10, for example, we will lose a big chunk of our income."That would basically be the end of us, we'd have to shut." 'Well-loved locally' He said he was concerned the venue could end up in the same situation as Northern Quarter venue Night and Day Cafe, which was subject to a three-year legal battle with the council over noise complaints in 2021."Our pockets are nowhere near as deep as Night and Day," he said. "We both have other jobs because running a music venue isn't enough."Mr Kostyakov is calling for an amendment to the planning permission requiring the developer to take responsibility for "any remediation and acoustic works" in future. The BBC has contacted Glenbrook for a Whitworth Street West development had been approved last month but the application had to be reassessed after the Music Venue True (MVT) submitted an objection on the basis of its proximity to MVT said: "Rebellion is not only well-loved locally and nationally, it is an irreplaceable part of Manchester's live music infrastructure."It said the risk was "not hypothetical" as there were "obvious correlations between noise complaints and venues closing"."Responsible planning should create places where people want to live because of the cultural life on their doorstep, not in spite of it," it added. 'It works quite well that we don't live in each other's pockets, and to have your own life separately, and then come together and do those things as a family. Spending time as a family is what we love to do most.' Asked how she helps Riyad if he's hard a hard day at work, Taylor insisted the couple don't speak about his career much at all. She said: 'Me and Riyad don't really speak about football, so I think when he comes home it's a good distraction, and it's time to switch off. 'We do everything else other than speak about football, and I think that's a nice thing. Even if the games gone really well, or it's gone really bad, he can come home and talk or do something completely different. I don't really cook, but I am trying'.
