Miley Cyrus Unveils Spotify Billions Club Concert Film Weeks After Paris Performance
Miley Cyrus' recent show in Paris celebrating her biggest streaming hits on Spotify was an intimate affair, with only a few of her most devoted listeners on the platform getting to attend. But now, everyone else can see what they missed with Wednesday's (July 23) release of a concert film documenting the event. Now available to play back on Spotify, the pop star's Billions Club Live With Miley Cyrus: A Concert Film features her exclusive 30-minute set at Maxim's de Paris on June 18, performed in front of a group of handpicked admirers making up her top listeners on Spotify. Singing a handful of the biggest hits from her nearly two-decade career — including a mash-up of fan-favorite smashes 'The Climb' and 'We Can't Stop' — the rare performance gave Cyrus a chance to pay tribute to all of the songs she's had surpass a billion Spotify streams. More from Billboard Miley Cyrus' Magnifique Mash-Up of 'The Climb' & 'We Can't Stop,' Plus More Highlights Inside Paris Spotify Concert Jeremy Zucker Announces 2025 Australian Tour Black Sabbath Members Pay Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne: 'Goodbye Dear Friend' 'Tonight we're celebrating the Billions Club,' the star, dressed in a glamorous blue crystal gown, told the crowd after opening the show with eight-week Billboard Hot 100-topper 'Flowers' in the film. 'That's something I'm very proud to be a part of. Without each of you, the billion doesn't even exist. That's how important and crucial you are to the success in my life, the confidence and the goals that I've achieved because of you and your support.' The event — and now, the concert film — mark the latest chapters in Spotify's mission to commemorate its top artists and the fanbases they nurture on the platform. Ariana Grande and Cardi B have both looked back on their ten-digit-surpassing tracks on episodes of the streamer's Billions Club video series, while The Weeknd played the first-ever Spotify Billions Club Live show in December. Cyrus is fresh off the release of new full-length Something Beautiful, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in June. With it, the Hannah Montana alum unveiled an accompanying film, emphasizing throughout the rollout that the LP is a visual album. Her show in Paris was particularly special, as Cyrus rarely performs live these days. The Grammy winner has been open about why she's chosen not to tour anymore, most recently speaking on the subject with Good Morning America. 'I do have the physical ability, and I have the opportunities to tour,' she explained on the program earlier in July. 'I wish I had the desire, but I don't … It's really hard to maintain sobriety when you're on the road, which is a really important pillar of stability in my life. It's really hard to keep mental wellness [on tour]. You have so many thousands of people screaming at you, so dopamine, you're feeling a lot of love, and then you totally crash at the end of the show. You start thinking that one person loving you's not enough, it needs to be 10,000, it needs to be 80,000.' Watch Cyrus' Spotify Billions Club concert film below. Billie Eilish teases 'very special' James Cameron collab at Manchester concert: 'It's going to be in 3D'
James Cameron is taking a break from Pandora to visit Billie Eilish in the far-away land of… Manchester. The Oscar-winning director and Grammy-winning singer are teaming up for a special project, Eilish announced during her July 19 concert in the U.K. Though she played coy about the details, she did hint that all four of her shows at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester are being filmed — and revealed that Cameron was in attendance at her show on Saturday night. "So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here," Eilish told the crowd. "Basically, I can't say much about it, but what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron." After some riotous applause from the audience, she added, "And it's going to be in 3D." Promising she'll offer more info soon, Eilish continued, "Take that as you will, and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He's in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don't mind that, and also I'll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row." While Eilish offered no further details, the collaboration between the two artists seems to be a concert film or documentary. The "Birds of a Feather" singer has already released a few film projects over the years, including her 2021 documentary, Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry, and the concert film Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, the lauded Titanic and Terminator director has helmed and otherwise been involved in several documentaries, having most recently produced Secrets of the Octopus for National is currently on a world tour following the release of her third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which arrived last year. She kicked off the trek in September 2024 with shows across North America before heading to Australia and then Europe. Following her stint in Manchester, Eilish will perform in Japan before circling back to the United States to conclude the tour in San Francisco on Nov. 23. Meanwhile, Cameron has been tied up with the latest entries in his blockbuster Avatar film series. Avatar: Fire and Ash will hit theaters this December, with a fourth film slated for 2029. Black Sabbath's Back To The Beginning extravaganza is coming out in cinemas
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Footage of Black Sabbath's Back To The Beginning event will be released in cinemas as a concert film next year. Portions of the all-day extravaganza, which served as vocalist Ozzy Osbourne's retirement show and featured the final live performance from Sabbath's founding lineup, are set to be compiled into a 100-minute film by production company Mercury Studios. It's also been announced that the concert film, entitled Back To The Beginning: Ozzy's Final Bow, will get a home media release later in 2026. As well as a solo set from Ozzy and a climactic performance from the original Sabbath, Back To The Beginning brought a who's who of rock and metal to Villa Park in Birmingham, with many acts appearing onstage and paying tribute to the Prince Of Darkness and his band. They included Metallica, Slayer, Guns N' Roses, Anthrax, Gojira and more. Famed actor Jason Momoa compered and Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello served as musical director. This morning (July 18), UK rock musician Yungblud released the version of Sabbath's 1972 track Changes that he performed at Back To The Beginning to streaming services. A music video for the performance will drop at 5pm UK time today and offer a taste of the Back To The Beginning: Ozzy's Final Bow film. Ozzy retired from touring in 2023, a result of the physical effects of Parkinson's disease and numerous surgeries. However, talk of the original Sabbath members – Ozzy, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward – reuniting started in 2024. Ozzy said on his podcast that the band's original farewell in 2017 felt incomplete, as Ward had been absent from the lineup since 2012. Back To The Beginning marked the first time the four men graced the stage together since 2005. The all-dayer was a charity event, with all proceeds going to Birmingham causes, and Morello estimates that it will raise north of $190 million overall. Though Sabbath have played their last show together, the members are still active individually. Ozzy has been open about his interest in making another solo album, the follow-up to 2022's Patient Number 9, and Iommi is working on his own album. Ward is working on two albums, which will follow his 2015 solo effort Accountable Beasts, and Butler is 'fiddling about' with new ideas. Solve the daily Crossword

Bono's memoir gets a third iteration, this time on the small screen
'Writing a memoir is a whole other level of navel-gazing,' the eponymous navel gazer tells us at the top of the new Apple TV+ release 'Bono: Stories of Surrender.' What, then, is a concert film of a stage show adapted from a memoir?
