Former The View host Meghan McCain shocked fans with bombshell family news during an interview with second lady Usha Vance on her podcast, 2Way's Citizen McCain with Meghan McCain. She revealed the unexpected update while discussing motherhood, work-life balance, and the challenges of raising a family in the public eye.
"I hope you don't mind. I wanted to let you in on something that's private that I haven't talked about publicly yet," McCain revealed. "I have two little girls. They are almost 5 and almost 3. And I just am entering my second trimester, I'm pregnant with my third."
"I know this is a weird way to announce it, but I'm very nervous. It's a boy," she added.
"I'm very nervous about having a boy. And I'm very nervous about having three children. Very," McCain concluded.

The political commentator told Vance that she admired her for the way she and Vice President J.D. Vance "incorporate their children in their life." The couple has three children, Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel.
Vance congratulated McCain on her happy news. She then shared her experiences on being a mother of three children and what the former View star can expect as the trio grows up together.
"They are just enough to be a pack," Vance explained. "The oldest one will always take care of the youngest one. My youngest is self-sufficient, always has been. It's awesome."
She added, "I thought zero to one was an enormous shock. One feels like the entire world has gone upside down. One to two wasn't hard, but two to three was shockingly the easiest of all."
Before the joy of her first pregnancy, McCain wrote an op-ed for The New York Times where she shared the news of a devastating miscarriage. "I had a miscarriage. I loved my baby, and I always will. To the end of my days, I will remember this child — and whatever children come will not obscure that."
McCain, who was a panelist on The View from 2017 to 2021, is married to Ben Domenech. They are parents to two daughters, Liberty Sage, 4, and Clover Jade, 2.

‘70s Music Legend, 78, Made Key Lyrical Tweaks to Song That Won't Die

'70s Music Legend, 78, Made Key Lyrical Tweaks to Song That Won't Die originally appeared on Parade. One of the unexpected highlights of 's new adaptation of Supermanis 'Punkrocker,' the song that plays over the film's end credits. Much like the Man of Steel, the song won't die. It just keeps popping up in new versions and places. The version heard in Superman was first released in 2006 by the Swedish group the Teddybears featuring proto-punk legend on vocals. 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 The song was originally recorded by the Teddybears, without Iggy, for their 2000 album Rock'n'Roll Highschool. That same year, it was remade by the Swedish indie rock band Caesars Palace (later renamed Caesars to avoid a possible legal showdown with the Las Vegas hotel). That band included of the Teddybears, and also gained notice for their 2002 song 'Jerk It Out' after it was featured in a snowboarding video and video games, as well as their version of Blue Oyster Cult's 'Don't Fear the Reaper,' featured on the Six Feet Under: Everything Ends soundtrack. 'Punkrocker' has since been covered several times, but the best-known version is the Teddybears 2006 update that has Iggy Pop on vocals. Iggy didn't just sing the song; he made key tweaks to the lyrics that change the song's whole attitude. The Teddybears original opens with the lines: 'You see me driving down the street / I'm just not looking good.' Iggy, however, turned that second line completely around by singing, 'I'm bored with looking good,' adding a swagger and aloofness missing from the original woe-is-me take. Iggy's lyric is also a throwback of sorts to one of his own songs, 1979's 'I'm Bored.' In that song, from Iggy's album New Values, he opens by singing, 'I'm bored / I'm chairman of the bored.' Iggy later adds further lyrical changes to 'Punkrocker' with the lyrics, 'See me die on Bleecker Street / I'm bored with being God.' Bleecker Street is widely associated with the '70s New York punk because the legendary punk nightclub GBGB was on Bowery and Bleecker. Following its original release, the Teddybears version of 'Punkrocker' featuring Iggy Pop became a minor hit after it was placed in a Cadillac commercial in 2007, but it failed to crack the top 40 of Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart at the time, only earning the 'bubbling under' designation. Now, however, the Teddybears/Pop version of 'Punkrocker' seems destined to become a legitimate hit. It's No. 13 this week on the Global Top 200 published by the music-identifying app Shazam. Moviegoers seeing Superman are likely using Shazam to identify the song as it plays on the box-office smash's end credits.A bonus bit of trivia: The Swedish group is not the first pop music act to go by that name. There was an American vocal group known as the Teddy Bears (two words), produced by Phil Spector, that scored a No. 1 hit in the late '50s with the song 'To Know Him Is to Love Him.' Why a '70s Singer Missed Out on Recording What Became the Beatles' Final Hit Song

Why a '70s Singer Missed Out on Recording What Became the Beatles' Final Hit Song originally appeared on Parade. Can you imagine anyone but Paul McCartney singing 'The Long and Winding Road'? Released in May 1970, a month after The Beatles broke up, the song stood as a makeshift eulogy for the band. Fans found solace and sympathy in McCartney's voice as he sang, 'The wild and windy night that the rain washed away / Has left a pool of tears, crying for the day / Why leave me standing here? / Let me know the way.' Released as a single in the U.S. (and oddly, not in the U.K.), 'The Long and Winding Road' went to the top of the charts. As of today, it's the band's last No. 1 song on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100—but, as Beatles lore goes, it was meant for someone else: . Recently, Tim David Kelly, aka Tim From Kicking Harold, highlighted how McCartney and Tom Jones 'were having a great time' while out on the town. After a few drinks, Jones asked McCartney to write him a song. 'Paul, who very much enjoyed doing this type of thing, told his friend he'd be happy to write a song for him.' McCartney soon had the song ready and sent it over to Jones. But McCartney included a catch. 'The condition was that I could do it, but it had to be my next single,' Jones told Wales Onlinein 2013. 'Paul wanted it out straight away. At that time, I had a song called 'Without Love' that I was going to be releasing.' Jones asked his record label, which was 'gearing up' towards the release of 'Without Love,' if he could 'stop everything' so he could record this new song. 'They said it would take a lot of time, and it was impractical, so I ended up not doing it,' said Jones. 'I was kicking myself,' he said. 'I knew it was a strong song and of course it subsequently appeared on[Let It Be].' 'The Long and Winding Road' was a source of contention within the Beatles. McCartney—who already resented the band's manager, Allen Klein—was furious that Klein, apparently without consulting anyone in the band, had producer Phil Spector record the orchestral and choral overdubs to the song. McCartney wrote a letter to Klein and Spector, demanding that 'in the future, no one will be allowed to add to or subtract from a recording of one of my songs without my permission.' He also demanded changes to the version, ending his note with 'Don't ever do it again.'Why a '70s Singer Missed Out on Recording What Became the Beatles' Final Hit Song first appeared on Parade on Aug 11, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Aug 11, 2025, where it first appeared.
