Epic Amazon headphone sale from $19 — here's 21 audio deals worth shopping ahead of summer

With summer right around the corner, now is the perfect time to invest in that high-quality pair of headphones or earbuds you've been eyeing. The good news? Amazon is currently hosting a summer sale with up to 40% off top-rated audio devices. Whether you need a new pair of headphones while you travel, work or head to the gym, Amazon's sale has deals to suit every need — and budget! Some of the best headphones we've tested from brands like Anker and JBL will cost you as little as $19. If you're open to spending a little more cash, we're seeing rare deals from pricier brands like Sony, Bose and Apple. For instance, the Bose QuietComfort Headphones are down to $249. Below, I've rounded up all my favorite deals on headphones and earbuds that will get you the most bang for your buck — all courtesy of Amazon! Keep scrolling to check them out. Plus, check out our best early Prime Day deals live blog. If you're willing to live without active noise-cancellation, these Soundcore by Anker P20i buds are fantastic value for money. Offering 10mm drivers for impressive "big" bass, along with Bluetooth 5.3, 30-hour battery life, water-resistance, 22 preset EQs and in-app customisation, which is great for this price. While they aren't technically true wireless, on account of the wire that connects the buds, the Flex are a great pair of fitness earbuds. They're super comfortable thanks to their lightweight, and this deal is a solid discount. These budget workout earbuds come equipped with adjustable ear hooks that can be extended and rotated for a comfortable and secure fit. Their active noise cancellation can turn the loudest of gyms into a quiet space. They feature a unique cavity design and Soundcore exclusive SweatGuard technology to protect the internal components against damage from water, sweat and dust. Plus, they'll last 12 hours on a single charge and 48 hours with the charging case. The Sony WF-C700N rank as one of the best wireless earbuds we've tested. In our Sony WF-C700N review, we praised their excellent sound, strong noise cancellation and great call quality. They're also lightweight and last for 7.5 hours of listening time with ANC on. Amazon has slashed the price of the Beats Studio Buds. You get active noise canceling, sweat resistance and up to eight hours of listening time, or 24 hours when combined with the pocket-sized charging case. Our Beats Studio Buds review called these "a small but feature-stuffed set of wireless earbuds." The AirPods 4 boast a new design, which Apple has refined with "50 million data points" to create the most comfortable AirPods ever. They also feature Apple's H2 chip, which delivers clearer calls with Voice Isolation, and a new, hands-free way to interact with Siri. The AirPods 4 also have USB-C charging and include up to 30 hours of listening time. In our AirPods 4 review, we said the Editor's Choice earbuds bring Apple's wireless earbuds lineup into the modern day with Pro-level features for less. Our AirPods 4 review found a pair of earbuds with surprisingly effective ANC, solid sound and a comfortable open fit. Though four hours of battery life with ANC on isn't the best, these pack a more open fit than Apple's last earbuds with ANC, the AirPods Pro 2, and transparency mode is a nice extra touch. The Powerbeats Pro are a solid pair of Apple wireless fitness earbuds. They have a seamless setup, just like AirPods, and good battery life. The earbuds themselves can play music for 9 hours, and the charging case adds an additional 18 hours. If you have an iPhone and need earbuds for your workout, these are a great pick — not that they aren't great for Android, too. If you're not a fan of over-ear designs, the QuietComfort Earbuds II bring Bose's elite-level noise cancellation tech to in-ear 'buds instead. They can withstand sweaty workouts, have head-tracking tech supporting a new Immersive Audio feature, and last up to 6 hours on a single charge. Plus, a 20-minute top-up gives you an extra 2 hours of playback. The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 Earbuds give the competition a serious run for their money. In our Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 review, we said they have well-balanced audiophile sound, class-leading aptX Lossless audio support, and effective ANC. In our best wireless earbuds rankings, they take the spot for the best mid-prices earbuds we've reviewed. A budget friendly option, these wireless headphones offer playback for up to 40 hours, and recharge in as little as 2 hours. They also have JBL Pure Bass sound. Although we haven't tested this model, they receive 4.6 out of 5 stars from Amazon customers for sound quality and value for money. The Anker Soundcore Life Q20 aren't top-of-the-line headphones and don't pretend to be. They're just a nice pair of over-the-ear headphones that won't cost you too much money. With the 40mm dynamic drivers, they still pump out powerful sound, so don't think just because they're cheaper, they won't sound great. The Beats Studio Pro are specifically designed to bring back that thumping bass Beats is known for. They offer improved active noise cancelation and boosted battery life (up to 40 hours with ANC turned off). There's also Spatial Audio support and Beats' signature strong brand look. However, our Beats Studio Pro review found the clamping force high, which may affect comfort levels for some wearers. As we noted in our Bose QuietComfort Headphones review, these are "excellent always-on noise-cancelers with enhanced sound and battery life." They come with enhanced sound, more features, and the same celebrated noise cancelation as their QC45 predecessor. Although now superseded by the WH-1000XM5, the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones are still a solid buy. They offer effective ANC, superior comfort, excellent sound quality, and an epic battery life that runs up to 38 hours. In our Sony WH-1000XM4 review, we said they're one of the best noise-cancelling headphones on the market. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 have some of the best battery life of any active noise canceling headphones we've tested. They last up to 60 hours of playtime with ANC enabled, which is incredible. They also offer excellent sound quality, effective noise canceling performance and a robust design. The Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2e are incredible sounding and feeling noise cancelling headphones. They're made out of super luxurious materials, including foam earpads with a fabric finish and metal detailing. And their sound wraps you up in comforting, warm audio. You also get 30 hours of battery life. The XM5s are Sony's premium noise-canceling headphones and our pick for the best headphones on the market. The large, over-ear cushions are incredibly comfortable and the active noise cancelation is excellent. Plus, despite ANC being a drain on battery life, these amazing headphones still give you up to 30 hours with ANC enabled. You can push that up to 40 hours of battery life with ANC turned off. Sony WH-1000XM6 Headphones: for $448 w/ free $30 gift card @ AmazonOur Sony WH-1000XM6 review said that while these headphones don't reinvent the wheel, that's no bad thing considering how excellent their predecessors are. Their excellent audio quality and active noise canceling continue to impress, and they now have improved clarity and codec support. You also get up to 30 hours of battery life with active noise canceling enabled, or up to 40 hours without. The AirPods Max are Apple's premium, retro-style headphones. They feature large ear cushions, a digital crown, active noise cancellation, and Spatial Audio. The latter feature uses head tracking to offer a surround sound experience. In our AirPods Max review, we said the 'phones offer exceptional noise-cancelling, a luxurious design, and sophisticated soundstage. The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 made our list of the best headphones as the best luxury pair of 'phones you can get. Their sophisticated sound, top-notch sound and up to 30 hour battery life make them a winner. Now that they're on sale, you can get that premium feel for an even better price.

Buckle up, folks — Amazon Prime Day is back this July, and it's longer than ever

Finally, the announcement we've been eagerly awaiting has arrived. Amazon has unveiled the dates for its Prime Day sale in Australia, and thankfully for you, deal hunters, you won't have to wait long. The online retail giant has confirmed that Prime Day 2025 will take place from 12:01am AEST on Tuesday, 8 July to 11:59pm AEST on Monday, 14 July. Yes, you read that right — it's a massive week-long sale! It's officially the longest ever Prime Day we've seen, beating its impressive six-day Big Smile Sale in March and Prime Big Deal Days last October. From the latest tech and kitchen appliances to everyday essentials, the e-retailer has confirmed top deals during that time frame for 19 countries, including the US, UK, Canada and Singapore. However, Australia and Singapore seem to be the lucky ones, with an extra 72 hours to shop the sale. Not much else has been disclosed about the event at this point; however, we can expect some of the best Amazon AU deals of the year. If you're not a Prime member already, it's about time to sign up! If Prime Day 2024 sales were anything to go by, we can speculate that there will be great deals on a range of products, including Amazon's own devices. We anticipate that there will be discounts aplenty on Echo smart speakers, Ring and Blink cameras, Fire TV sticks and more. We're even hoping to snag a good bargain on Kindle ereaders, but we're keeping our expectations in check since we haven't seen them discounted since Black Friday 2024. If you're completely new to Prime Day sales, you can sign up for a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial so you can get the most out of Prime Day deals. Some membership benefits include free and same-day delivery, a Prime Video subscription and, of course, early access to member-exclusive sales. That said, to fully encapsulate all that Prime Day 2025 has to offer, you may want to hold off starting your trial until July 1 rolls around. That way, your 30-day window will allow you to shop till you drop throughout the entirety of Prime Week. If you do decide to sign up early, you'll still make the most of the sale, but you may miss out on the final deals window. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. So, if you've been eyeing your next Amazon purchase or want to shop big before the next major sales event rolls around, there's no better time to bag a bargain than during Prime Day 2025. We will be on deck during the entire sales week to hunt down the best deals as they appear, so be sure to check back when Prime Week is upon us. Until then, start getting your Amazon wishlist ready — there are only 20 days to go!
