During the interaction, Aamir said in Hindi, "My family organised a party for me on my 60th birthday. It was one of those occasions where you have a memorable day with your friends and family. But what happened was… now I don't drink much nowadays, it is almost negligible. But that day, everyone insisted that I have a drink with them because it was a special occasion and I gave in. With me, the point is that I'm not someone who restricts himself; I'm an extreme person. Because I haven't been drinking much, my body wasn't used to it. We started at around 7 pm, and by 9 pm, I knew that I was buzzing.'
He went on to add, 'This has happened to me a few times. When I woke up the next morning, I had no memory of the previous evening. There were videos and photos, and they told me that everyone said nice things about me, but I didn't remember anything. It was a blackout. I was conducting myself normally with everyone during the party, but the next day, when I woke up, I had zero memories of my 60th birthday celebration. There were pictures and videos from the day, but I had no memory at all, of how I reacted to the people when they were giving speeches. It was a clean blackout.'
Aamir is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film is a remake of the Spanish movie Campeones. It is set to release in theatres on June 20.

Aamir Khan reveals he refused to edit 'Dangal' for Pakistan release; was asked to remove Indian flag and national anthem
Aamir Khan is ready to return to the big screen with his much-awaited film 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. But before that, many of his fans would remember that when 'Dangal' was released in 2016, it became one of Aamir Khan's biggest hits. While the film was praised across the world, it was never released in Pakistan . Now, years later, the actor has finally revealed the reason why. Why 'Dangal' was not released in Pakistan During a recent appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, Aamir opened up about the real reason behind 'Dangal' not being released in Pakistan. He revealed that the Pakistani censor board had made an unusual request. 'When the film was released, Disney was one of the producers; they presented it. Pakistan's censor had asked them to remove the Indian flag and the Indian national anthem from the scene where Geeta Phogat wins a match. They said they won't release this film unless this is done,' the 'PK' actor said. The producers were worried that skipping the Pakistan release could hurt the film's earnings. But Aamir made his decision instantly — and stood firm on it. The 'Rang De Basanti' actor further added, 'Within a second, I told them that our film will not be released in Pakistan. I did not want to think about it either. They said this might impact our business. I said, 'I have no interest if somebody asks me to remove our national flag and national anthem . I do not want this.' Despite not releasing in Pakistan, 'Dangal' went on to become a massive blockbuster across the world. It not only dominated the Indian box office but also broke records internationally. According to Sacnilk, 'Dangal' achieved a staggering worldwide collection of Rs 2070.3 crore, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films. Aamir's next film: 'Sitaare Zameen Par' After taking time away from films, Aamir Khan is now all set to return with 'Sitaare Zameen Par', which hits theatres on 20 June 2025. This film, directed by R. S. Prasanna, is a sports comedy-drama where Aamir plays a fun and confident coach. 'Sitaare Zameen Par' stars Genelia Deshmukh alongside Aamir and introduces ten new actors to Hindi cinema. These include Aroush Datta, Samvit Desai, Rishi Shahani, Simran Mangeshkar and others. 'I saw the same josh in Sushant that I had,' Shatrughan Sinha says Sushant Singh Rajput's loss was a National tragedy
On the solemn occasion of Sushant Singh Rajput 's fifth death anniversary, veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha opens up with rare emotion and candour. In a heartfelt conversation with ETimes, he reflects on the enduring pain of Sushant's untimely demise, the mystique that surrounds it even today, and the legacy the young star left behind. Drawing parallels to his own struggles in the industry, Sinha offers not just memories, but also wisdom for young dreamers chasing stardom in Mumbai. Shatruji, five years have passed since we lost Sushant Singh Rajput. What a loss! The country has still not gotten over it. Some tragedies are such that even time cannot heal the pain. Sushant's death remains a mystery? It's the love of the people that keeps his death shrouded in mystery. People tend to mystify the passing of those they deeply love—especially when they die young—like Guru Dutt , Meena Kumari , and everyone's favourite, Sridevi. Do you empathize more with this loss? Sushant's loss is not a regional tragedy. It was a national one. But yes, I do identify with his struggle to find a place in the Hindi film industry without a godfather. When I arrived in Mumbai, I had no contacts and no idea about how to proceed. I just had a few hundred rupees in my pocket and endless josh (enthusiasm). I saw that same Josh in Sushant. The films he did are a legacy that's hard to ignore. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Infertile Man Visits Orphanage And Hears, 'Hi Daddy.' Keep working hard. But give yourself a timeline. If things don't work out in 4–5 years, go back home. Re-set your dream. Would you recommend a biopic on Sushant? He doesn't need it.

Even according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the fifth instalment of the Housefull franchise, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala and Firuzi Khan under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, is likely to make major earnings during the second weekend due to the absence of any other big film releases. A day earlier, Taran Adarsh, in a post on Instagram, discussed Housefull 5 's first-week collection and wrote, '# Housefull5 continues to remain consistent on weekdays, maintaining a steady trend. The film is now eyeing Rs 133 cr [+/-] in its Week 1,' adding, 'The absence of any major release this Friday is likely to work in its favour… Expect another jump in business over the weekend.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Taran Adarsh (@taranadarsh) Besides Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, the thriller comedy has a star-studded cast. It includes Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueliene Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangda Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer, and Johnny Lever in key roles.
