Shoppers spot ‘banging' new Cadbury's chocolate bar on shelves of bargain UK supermarket
EAGLE-EYED shoppers have spotted a brand-new Cadbury's chocolate bar on the shelves in a bargain UK supermarket.
Cadbury teased the launch of the twist on a fan-favourite chocolate bar earlier this month, but has already said the treat won't be on shelves forever.

Sharing a video of the Twirl White Dipped, the British chocolatier said: "OK but we've really outdone ourselves with this one."
The chocolate makers described the new bar, which is similar to a Twirl bar, but dipped in white chocolate as being "unreal, indulgent, smooth, swirly, creamy, melty, new, and mouthwatering".
And now, the new bar has been spotted by hawk-eyed snack fans in Morrisons.
Posting in the Newfoodsuk Facebook group, one confectionary lover said: "The new Twirl Bars are now available at Morrisons."
Attached to the post was a picture of the limited edition bars on sale for £1 at the supermarket.
The price tag indicated that the chocolate bar is part of Morrisons' £4 Meal Deal.
Excited shoppers flooded the comments section of the post, to share their love for the sweet treat.
One person said: "I've tried these and they are gorgeous."
A second person said: "Tried it, was banging."
A third person, tagging a friend said: "They're in Morrisons now!
'So excited' say Cadbury Ireland fans as new chocolate bar flavour to hit shelves TODAY
"I know where I'm off to tomorrow."
The chocolate bars have also been spotted in local convenience stores, with another Newfoodsuk post stating: "Wow, these are outstanding - closest bar you'll ever get to a Cadbury Snowflake!
"We spotted these at our local convenience store!"
Katya Savelieva, Brand Manager for Twirl at Mondelez International, said of the new bars: 'Cadbury Twirl has always been a fan favourite, so it's no surprise that limited editions like Cadbury Twirl Orange and Cadbury Twirl Mint had everyone talking.
How to save money on chocolate
We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs...
Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars.
Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
"With smooth white chocolate surrounding our iconic milk chocolate swirls, the new Twirl White Dipped is an indulgence you won't want to miss - grab it as soon as you can and experience Twirl like never before.'
The bar first hit shelves on June 2, and since it won't be around for ever, sweet-toothed snack fans should consider stocking up whilst they're still on shelves.
Twirl bar were first released in Ireland in 1985, as a single finger bar.
They hit UK shelves two years later in its classic double finger form.
Eventually the Twirl bar solidified itself as a fan favourite among Cadbury customers.
It has since earned its place in the coveted Cadbury's Heroes tin, available at Christmas.

Holly Willoughby and husband seen at Glastonbury as she helps out festivalgoer
Glastonbury Festival attendees are in the company of former This Morning host Holly Willoughby and her husband Dan Baldwin this year, with the couple at Worthy Farm together Festivalgoers at Glastonbury are in the company of Holly Willoughby this year. The presenter and her husband Dan Baldwin have been spotted among the crowds at the festival today ahead of the first headliner performing tonight. Holly, 44, and TV producer Dan, 50, arrived at Worthy Farm in Somerset earlier. The couple, who have three children together, have joined the thousands of fans in attendance for the five day festival, which opened on Wednesday. Former This Morning host Holly was seen queuing for refreshments at Workers Charter Bar, which is located by the Pyramid Stage. One photo shows her later reaching the front of the queue for the bar alongside one of her pals. Holly, who was seen chatting to friends, appeared to be in good spirits and relaxed on site. Helping out a festivalgoer, she gave directions to someone at one point and was seen beside her husband Dan, whom she married in 2007, whilst standing by the bar in one photo taken earlier. She opted to wear a white dress and coordinated jacket for the festival today. Holly matched her brown boots with a matching hat and bag as part of her outfit. Her husband Dan instead sported a black t-shirt and dark shorts. Holly teased on Instagram this afternoon that she was at the festival. She shared a photo of herself sat at a table beside an iced bucket of wine. The post had been uploaded by rosé brand Lady A with the caption: "Glasto incoming." The former Dancing On Ice host's arrival comes ahead of the first headline act performing tonight. The 1975 will take to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury later this evening as the debut headliner for this year's festival weekend. It was revealed by the Mirror earlier that the band - which consists of Matty Healy, Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald and George Daniel - have "pulled out all the stops". A source told us: "Everyone was so blown away that Matty, Ross, George and Adam were headlining, but it's no surprise given how loved they are universally." The source added: "They've played Glastonbury before, but this is the boys at their very best and then some. They're one of the biggest bands in the world, and their tours sell out almost instantly, but to see them on the Pyramid Stage in the headline slot, nobody could have expected this." They went on to tease that fans should "expect a few surprises" when they take to the main stage. The source said: "Everyone behind the scenes has worked so hard to pull out all the stops - fans should expect a few surprises." The 1975 - known for songs like Chocolate - are the first of this year's three Pyramid Stage headline acts. Their set on Friday night will be followed by performances by Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Tom Holland, Jacob Elordi and Harris Dickinson at top of James Bond wishlist
Tom Holland, Harris Dickinson and Jacob Elordi are rumoured to be at the top of Amazon's James Bond wishlist, according to a new report. Variety has learned from insiders that the new iteration of 007 would be under 30 and the three actors could be fighting it out for the role. No meetings have taken place and Amazon has yet to confirm anything. The report emerges days after the Dune and Arrival director Denis Villeneuve was announced as the first director of Bond's new era under the Amazon-MGM banner. The French-Canadian film-maker, now working on the third Dune movie, reportedly beat out Conclave's Edward Berger, Westworld's Jonathan Nolan, Paddington's Paul King and Shaun of the Dead's Edgar Wright for the role. 'I intend to honour the tradition and open the path for many new missions to come,' Villeneuve said in a statement. 'This is a massive responsibility, but also, incredibly exciting for me and a huge honour.' Early rumours had suggested the Gravity director Alfonso Cuarón would step up, having worked with Bond's new producer David Heyman before, but he removed himself from the race. Cuarón is set to work on the darkly funny drama Jane with Charlize Theron instead. Holland, best known for playing Spider-Man, has also starred in the video game hit Uncharted and Apple series The Crowded Room. He'll next be seen in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey before returning for the fourth Spider-Man movie. The 29-year-old actor once tried to pitch a 007 spin-off to Sony. 'I had a meeting after or during Spider-Man 2 with Sony to pitch this idea of a young Bond film that I'd come up with,' he said in 2022. 'It was the origin story of James Bond. It didn't really make sense. It didn't work. It was the dream of a young kid, and I don't think the Bond estate were particularly interested.' Dickinson, known for Triangle of Sadness and Babygirl, recently received rave reviews for his directorial debut Urchin at the Cannes film festival. 'I mean, listen, man, you'd be a fool to not entertain that role,' he said when asked about playing Bond in 2023. 'I'm loving seeing the development of James Bond and seeing how it changes over the years. I think Daniel Craig was such a good Bond that I'd almost be quite frightened to try … Who knows what they're doing with Bond? I'm intrigued.' Elordi is the only Australian of the bunch, but could follow in the footsteps of George Lazenby who played Bond in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The actor, best known for his role in TV drama Euphoria and Sofia Coppola's Priscilla, will soon be seen in Emerald Fennell's unconventional adaptation of Wuthering Heights with Margot Robbie. In 2023, Elordi called rumours that he was being linked to the role 'beautiful' and added: 'I just like that people maybe want to put me in their movies. That makes me really glad.' The release date for the next film is yet to be announced, but Variety is claiming that anything sooner than 2028 would be impossible. The 26th Bond film will follow Daniel Craig's final outing No Time to Die which made over $774m at the global box office. Earlier this year, in a reported $1bn deal, Amazon MGM bought the rights to gain 'creative control' of the franchise. In March, producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman were hired to take charge of the new film.
