Notre Dame has 3 of the most valuable returning players according to Pro Football Focus
It's safe to say that Notre Dame football has plenty of star power entering the 2025 campaign, and Pro Football Focus backed that up on Wednesday. PFF released its most valuable returning players list, and three Irish players made the cut. Only one on offense, and it's not at all a surprising pick as running back Jeremiyah Love was named as the top returning player at his position. The junior is coming off a massive season, where he ran for 1,125 yards with 17 touchdowns while having 237 receiving yards and another two scores. Defensively, Notre Dame placed two on the list, linebacker Drayk Bowen and cornerback Leonard Moore. Bowen had his coming out party last season, with 78 tackles, a sack and three forced fumbles. The former 4-star prospect has lived up to his billing, and could be even better this fall after opting to hang up his glove and bat and focus solely on football. As for Moore, a highly decorated first year on campus has led many to believe that he's the next top prospect out of Notre Dame's secondary, following a very impressive lineage of players. Last fall he had 34 tackles, 2 interceptions, and forced two fumbles. The trio make up the core of a team that many expect to make a return trip to the College Football Playoff. It's a stacked roster that should return dividends early and often for Irish fans this fall.
