Khloé Kardashian Won't Accept 'Shame' For Having Nannies For Two Kids: 'It Takes A Village!'
is getting real about parenting with help. She believes that raising children is a lot of work and will not accept shame for needing assistance. The American socialite has two children, a daughter named True, 7, and a son named Tatum, 2, with her ex-boyfriend, Canadian professional basketball player Tristan Thompson. The public once slammed Kardashian for admitting that she was exhausted when her live-in nanny was away. Khloé Kardashian Gets Honest About Needing Help With Her Children During a recent episode of her podcast, "Khloe in Wonderland," the reality star openly discussed her struggles with co-parenting, parenting, and mom guilt. She also touched on a topic she usually isn't open about, nannies. The "Good American" co-founder said that parents always have some form of help raising their kids. As such, she doesn't understand the reason for shaming people who hire nannies to help out. Khloé said on the podcast, "People that talk sh-t about nannies, we all have help in some capacity. You can call it daycare, you can call it a school, you can call it in-laws, your mother, sister, [or] whoever. A babysitter." She continued, "For some reason, the term babysitter people find way less offensive than a nanny. I don't know why. We're all blessed, and it takes a village to raise a family." The mother-of-two concluded, rebuking the "shame" given to parents that have some form of help. "There is no shame in that," she declared. The Mother-Of-Two Was 'Exhausted' Without Nannies While rare, this isn't the first time Khloé has admitted to needing help with her children. During a May 2024 episode of 'The Kardashians,' she briefly touched on the topic during a discussion with her sister, Kourtney Kardashian. Khloé explained that at the time, Thompson, with whom she co-parents, was away in Ohio. Additionally, she didn't have nannies to help with the kids at night, and the stress of caring for the children all by herself was taking a toll on her. The reality star admitted, according to The Sun, that she often crawled into bed at the end of each day due to exhaustion. In her words: "It's the weirdest thing. Because you're exhausted and you're like, I'm gonna die, and then literally when they're asleep by 10, I'm like I miss them. Like, get it together, Khloé, snap out of it." However, fans did not have any empathy for her plight. Instead, they criticized her for complaining when she should have been grateful for having help. "But she has a nanny all day .....something most moms don't have the luxury of," one harsh comment read. The Reality TV Star Stood By Her Decision to Sell Her Children's Used Clothes Khloé is no stranger to facing backlash from the public for her decisions. Earlier this year, she was also criticized for selling her children's used clothes online. The founder of 'Khloud Popcorn' had advertised some of her son's clothes online, stating that she was putting them up for sale because he had outgrown them. She also shared a link to her online shop, 'KardashianKloset,' where fans could purchase other used items. The post was met with heavy backlash for selling the clothes rather than donating them. However, Khloé expressed no guilt about her decisions. An insider stated that the mother of two only saw it as a smart way to recycle and make a profit without being wasteful. True Thompson Suffered A Health Scare Just Last Year As much as Khloé strives to provide a safe and homely environment for her children, it isn't always a smooth ride. Her seven-year-old daughter suffered a health scare just last year over the holidays. The 41-year-old told her Instagram followers that her two children had fallen under the weather shortly before Christmas. While Tatum was able to get back on his feet in time for Christmas, True wasn't. When speaking on the situation, the media personality said that it was 'really scary.' Khloé Shares Raw And Honest Conversation With Her Brother, Rob Kardashian Khloé, a family-oriented person, not only dedicates her time to her children but also to her siblings, especially her only brother, Rob Kardashian. The pair is known to share a special bond. During last week's episode of her podcast, she had a brief discussion with the 38-year-old on why he chooses to stay out of the limelight, unlike the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. While on a call with Rob, she pointedly asked him if his decision to stay under the radar was due to bad blood between him and his sisters. According to The Blast, he said that there was no animosity between him and his family members. However, he simply chooses to remain low-key because he isn't comfortable enough to be vulnerable on camera. Solve the daily Crossword

Meghan Markle's Former BFF Going Through Major Life Change: Report
Meghan Markle's Former BFF Going Through Major Life Change: Report originally appeared on Parade. Jessica Mulroney has reportedly split from her husband of 16 years, Ben Mulroney. On July 29, Page Sixreported the news and said that Jessica, 45, has taken off her wedding ring. "They're split. Jessica seemed sad, but also relieved to have some clarity," a Canadian source told the outlet, while another source said the pair separated "some time ago." A source also confirmed the reported breakup to Us Weekly. In Instagram selfies posted on June 28 and July 24, the Canadian fashion stylist did not appear to be wearing her wedding band. However, Jessica did share a birthday tribute for Ben, 49, on March 12, writing, "Happy belated Birthday Benny! Hope all your wishes come true as well as Bruce Wayne's dream to try my cheesecake. Xx." The former best friend of Meghan Markle also celebrated the pair's wedding anniversary via Instagram with a series of sweet photos on November 17, 2024, admitting that they had forgotten about the special day. "Ok so our wedding anniversary was a slight oversight this year ( ie… we forgot). But the love all year round makes up for it," she wrote. "Which reminds me, how many years has it been @benmulroney? I feel lucky everyday so what's a number?" Jessica and Ben—who works as a radio host and is the eldest son of late former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney—tied the knot in 2008 after having met as teenagers. In a heartfelt 2018 Instagram post, the marketing consultant detailed the pair's love story. "We met when I was 14 years old. He was of course MUCH older. Ben's family moved back from Ottawa to MONTREAL four blocks away from my family's home. We met. We hung out. We kept in touch through so many moves and failed relationships," she wrote. "12 years later, we went on our first date. (thanks to my sister Liz for pushing me to go). It was the best date of my life. 9 months later we were engaged. 9 months after that married. "It was a beautiful wedding (if you were there, highly likely you don't remember it) I was lucky enough to inherit the most wonderful in laws (brothers and sisters included) imaginable. "We had twin boys. Then a little girl. We've worked hard. We've laughed harder. And we will continue to make the most wonderful memories. "I felt like the luckiest girl ten years ago. I feel even luckier now. Ben, you are and will always be, my everything. Hopefully we will get to see the whole world together. Until then Australia." The pair welcomed their twin sons, Brian and John, in August 2010. Their daughter Isabel was born in June 2013. Jessica and Markle, 43, were once close friends, but haven't been spotted together in quite some time. Their reported rift allegedly began in June 2020, when Canadian lifestyle influencer Sasha Exeter publicly accused Jessica of showing "textbook white privilege" and "very problematic behavior and antics," People reported. In September 2020, Jessica took to her Instagram Stories to seemingly deny a falling out with Markle. "I'm going to tell this once and for all. Meghan and I are family. She is the kindest friend and has checked up on me everyday. Tabloid culture is atrocious. It creates lies and hurtful storyline[s]. Stop feeding into it. Done," she said, according to People. However, the former best friends "haven't been seen publicly together in years," per the outlet. Peter Phillips, the son of Britain's Princess Anne and eldest grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II, announced his engagement to nurse Harriet Sperling on Friday. 'Mr Peter Phillips, the son of HRH The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips and Ms Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr Rupert Sanders and Mrs Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, have today confirmed their official engagement,' the couple's spokesperson told CNN in a statement. 'Both families were informed jointly of the announcement and were delighted with the wonderful news of their engagement. Their Majesties The King and Queen, The Prince and Princess of Wales have been informed of the announcement. 'No date has officially been set for the wedding,' the statement added. The couple first announced their engagement with a photo shoot in UK celebrity magazine Hello!, in which they were pictured in a field, with Sperling's ring prominent. They have been a couple since at least May 2024, when they were pictured together at the Badminton Horse Trials alongside Phillips' daughters and Queen Camilla. Sperling is a pediatric nurse for Britain's National Health Service and a freelance writer, according to an online biography attached to an article she wrote for Christian magazine Woman Alive last year. Phillips, 47, was previously married to Canadian-born Autumn Kelly with whom he shares two daughters – Savannah, 14, and Isla, 13. They announced their 'amicable' divorce and decision to share custody of their children in 2020.
