Thrilled with her high-street plant which cost her just £4.50, Emma then added: 'I get one every year and they also come back every year.'
Thanks to these iconic Lily plants, which are known for their vibrant blooms and strong fragrance, your garden is sure to glow this summer.
The perennials are a striking addition to any garden and are said to be relatively low-maintenance, often returning year after year.
Such plants thrive in sunny to partially shaded locations, with well-drained soil.
Gardening enthusiasts should note that Lily bulbs are recommended to be planted about 12 cm deep and 20 cm apart.
And in order to keep your Lily plants looking good, deadheading faded blooms and ensuring proper watering is recommended.

8 must-have plants to brighten up your garden
Nick Hamilton owner of Barnsdale Gardens has shared his favourite plants and flowers you should consider adding to your garden, borders and pots.
Tricyrtis
A spectacular plant that gives a real exotic feel to any garden with its orchid-like, spotted flowers giving the impression that this plant should be tender but it is 'as tough as old boots!'.
Penstemon
I love this plants genus of because most will flower all summer and autumn. They'll grow in sun or semi-shade in a well drained soil and produce a non-stop display of tubular flowers in an array of colours and colour combination to suit all tastes.
Luzula sylvatica 'Marginata'
With the evergreen leaves edged with yellow it's great asset is that it
will grow in sun or shade in any type of soil and is great as groundcover in the hardest spot to fill - dry shade.
Eryngium x zabelii 'Big Blue'
A stunning, nectar-rich plant that will feed the beneficial insects in your
garden. Leave the flowerheads once they have turned brown because they look stunning with winter frost and snow, extending the plant's interest period.
Sarcococca hookeriana 'Winter Gem'
If you need winter scent then look no further than this compact, evergreen shrub. The scent is stunning and the evergreen leaves create an excellent backdrop for the summer flowers.
Cornus sanguinea 'Anny's Winter Orange'
A dwarf version of 'Midwinter Fire' the very colourful stems create a stunning winter display, particularly on sunny days.
Rosa 'Noisette Carnee'
A very well-behaved climbing rose that is perfect for training over an arch, pergola or gazebo. The small, 'noisette' flowers are blush-pink and produce the most amazing clove scent constantly from June to November.
Sanguisorba hakusanensis 'Lilac Squirrel'
I've never seen a squirrel with a drooping, shaggy lilac tail, but this variety will give your garden an unusual and different look throughout summer. It does need a moisture retentive soil but will grow in sun or semi-shade.
A third commented: 'I need some!'
Meanwhile, someone else beamed: "They'll grow back every year.'
At the same time, another gardening enthusiast wrote: 'How pretty.'
While another user thought the lilies looked 'gorgeous', she also shared a stern warning for cat owners, as she advised: 'Don't forget to cut the stamen out so you don't poison your kitties.'

Kieran Trippier reveals he split from his wife Charlotte a YEAR ago as he speaks out after months of speculation about his marriage

Former England footballer Kieran Trippier has revealed he split from his wife Charlotte more than a year ago. The Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur star announced the news after months of speculation over the state of their marriage. In a statement on his Instagram stories, Trippier wrote: 'I have never commented on my private life but the tabloids seem to want to continue Writing force narratives I feel I have no choice but to confirm publicly that myself and Charlotte separated over a year ago. 'I have not commented previously as it is a private matter and we want to protect to our children.' Tripper's announcement comes days after it was claimed that Charlotte was consulting divorce lawyers. Meanwhile, the footballer, 34, was reportedly seen mingling in Ibiza with another woman this week. The Newcastle United player was spotted partying with Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry and her pals including Love Island star Jess Harding at Ushuaia club on the White Isle. Kieran and Charlotte married in 2016 and have three children together. Sources say that they were keen to keep their split a secret so their kids would not have to deal with any upset. However, it has been reported that Charlotte has a new property where she lives without Keiran. Rumours of their split began during last year's Euros in Germany when Charlotte unfollowed her husband on Instagram on the end of the England's final group game. She also didn't jet to Germany like the other WAGs. She then posted a cryptic message on social media, saying: 'Sooner or later you get over the s*** you swore you'd never get over and it's the best feeling in the world.' Further posts included the caption 'the sun is shining, happy Monday', where Charlotte was seen sitting in the car listening to music while she waited to pick up her children from school.

Influencer slammed for ‘inappropriate' wedding guest dress that will ‘upstage bride' & is so low it shows her knickers

AN INFLUENCER has been slammed for an 'extremely inappropriate' wedding guest dress that will 'upstage the bride'. Not only did many hail the frock 'a solid no for a wedding ' but the young woman even admitted the back of the dress was so low you could see her knickers. 4 4 4 4 Posting on social media, Ellena Hoad, a fitness influencer who is dating Love Island star Kieran Nicholls, showed off her floral mini dress as she got ready for a friend's big day. As she posed in a hotel room, the content creator said: 'I'm going to a wedding today, so let's get dressed - I've got this dress which I actually rented from HURR, however, I have had the biggest drama with this dress and I just hope it's all worth it.' As her Love Island boyfriend did up the backless dress, she asked: 'Can you see my pants?' to which he simply confirmed: 'Yeah.' After admitting that she would have to 'take off' her knickers to avoid them being on show, Ellena then gave her followers a close-up look at the cut-out frock and beamed: 'This is the dress - it's very different to what I would normally wear, but I thought it was cute and very wedding vibes.' Ellena then exposed the nightmare she had with the designer dress, which is originally from pricey brand Zimmermann, but she rented from HURR - the UK's leading rental and resale fashion marketplace. She acknowledged that not only did the dress arrive late, but when she opened it, she realised it had been worn and claimed it 'absolutely stunk.' Despite the mishap, Ellena, who runs her own online coaching service and has built an impressive following, including 403,000 Instagram followers and 52,000 YouTube subscribers, paired the dress with a strappy set of white heels and a small clutch bag. Ellena, who also has her own recipe app, Ell-Evate, then continued: 'Kieran absolutely hates it, I think it's quite cute, it's quite different. I love the back. I think the back is the moment.' Ellena's boyfriend Kieran, the reality star who made his bid for romance in the Mallorca villa back in 2018 and then met Ellena just before lockdown in 2020, then rated the dress a 6.5 out of 10. Not only this, but he also confessed: 'I'm not a big fan of the dress but you look good in it.' Frankie Bridge slammed by fans again for SHEER wedding guest dress that's 'too much' and will 'upstage the bridge' The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ ellena_fit, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 156,000 views. It also amassed 1,718 likes and 468 comments, with many fashion enthusiasts left stunned by the short frock. Not for a wedding. The day should be focused on the bride!! TikTok user One person said: 'A solid NO for a wedding.' Another added: 'The dress is giving "trying to upstage the bride" vibes, "all eyes on me".' Wedding Guest Outfit Etiquette If you're struggling to decided on a dress to see you through wedding season, here's a few rules on what not to wear so you don't get in trouble. Folklore says that wearing red at a wedding means you slept with the groom. Casual attire like jeans and flip flops should always be avoided. Any colour that could be picked up as white or cream - even if it's not. Most would agree that your cleavage needs to be covered. Wearing white is a massive no-no if you're not the bride. A third commented: 'It's a showstopper for sure, especially at the back. I'd only wear it if you hate the bride and want to steal her thunder.' Meanwhile, someone else slammed: "Not for a wedding. The day should be focused on the bride!!' The bride is a close friend and was fully aware of what I was wearing and it was perfectly ok Ellena Hoad Not only this, but another chimed in: 'It's extremely inappropriate for the wedding.' But that wasn't all, as another woman recognised: "That's for a holiday. Not for a wedding at all." In response to the negative response from trolls, Ellena later wrote back on the 'dress that apparently divided TikTok' and penned: 'I'm glad I've got thick skin because you were all brutal with your comments. 'Also… the bride is a close friend and was fully aware of what I was wearing and it was perfectly ok.'

Abbey Clancy packs on the PDA with husband Peter Crouch as the couple put on an amorous display during day two of Royal Ascot

They've been married since 2011 and share four children together. And Abbey Clancy and her husband Peter Crouch were packing on the PDA as they enjoyed a loved-up outing on the second day of Royal Ascot on Wednesday. The couple were pictured sharing a kiss as they watched the action from a balcony overlooking Ascot Racecourse. Abbey, 39, who shared snaps of her look on Instagram, showed off her model physique in a slinky white satin dress from Magda Butrym. Meanwhile Peter, 44, put on a dapper display in a sharp cream suit as he leaned in for a kiss from his stunning wife. Royal Ascot, the jewel in the crown of the UK racing calendar, kicked off on Tuesday with the Queen Anne Stakes and will run until Saturday. King Charles and Camilla have been once again arriving in the famous carriage procession along the course and past the stands that will welcome hundreds of thousands of punters during the five-day meet. It is a royal tradition that has reached its 200th anniversary this year after it was first held in 1825 during the reign of King George IV. The festival was founded by Queen Anne in 1711 after she declared Ascot ideal for 'horses fit for kings' and it is now a major social event and sporting attraction. It comes after Abbey told OK! magazine that she would love to have another baby, but her former footballer husband Peter joked he would 'leave' her if she considered it. She said: 'I'd have 10 kids if I could but Pete is like "absolutely not". I think he said he'd leave me if I bring another living thing into the house. 'All the kids are in school now so I could easily have a newborn, but my husband says "no way".' The couple, who have been married since 2011, share four children - Sophia Ruby, 14, Liberty Rose, 10, Johnny, seven, and Jack, six. While Abbey said that she typically gets her way with her husband, she acknowledges that adding another child to their family is one subject he will not change his mind about. As she watched the racing unfold with her pals, Abbey was in high spirits She has previously spoken of her husband's affection for their children, admitting that whenever they do get the opportunity to enjoy a date night, they end up missing their brood The model joked: 'I've actually just got a lovely new baby who's 18 hands - Enzo, my horse. 'He's five minutes from the house but I'd like him to live in my garden and sleep in my bed but that's not possible either!' She has previously spoken of her husband's affection for their children, admitting that whenever they do get the opportunity to enjoy a child-free date night, they end up missing their sizeable brood. Abbey said that while they are a well-off family, she does her best not to spoil her children so that they understand the importance of working hard.
