vivo's T4 Ultra is coming in June, according to a new leak. It will then join the T4 and T4x in the company's roster in India, and there may even be a T4 Lite on the way as well.
The T4 Ultra is going to be powered by the Dimensity 9300+ SoC, which makes sense since the T3 Ultra employed the Dimensity 9200+. The new device will run Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15. vivo T3 Ultra
It will allegedly be advertised to come with a lot of AI features like AI Image Studio, AI Erase 2.0, and Live Cutout. According to a previous report, the T4 Ultra has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with "1.5K" resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, a 50 MP main camera using Sony's IMX921 sensor, a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera, 8GB of RAM, and support for 90W wired charging. vivo T4 5G vivo T4x vivo T3 Ultra

Honor Magic V5 spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version

The Honor Magic V5 has surfaced in the Geekbench database with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, specifically the so-called 'Leading Version'. This version runs its two prime cores at 4.47GHz instead of the usual 4.32GHz and is also used in phones like the Honor GT Pro. Here is the Geekbench 6.4.0 result from the MHG-AN00: Honor Magic V5 (MHG-AN00) results from Geekbench 6.4.0 This is one of the model numbers associated with the Magic V5. Another is the MBH-AN10, which we saw in a CMIIT certification that confirmed the 6,100mAh battery. The V5 will be 'the thinnest and lightest' foldable, according to one Honor exec, though they didn't provide concrete numbers. The Geekbench scorecard shows that the Honor Magic V5 was equipped with 16GB of RAM and ran Android 15. The V5 is expected sometime this month, but we don't have an official date from Honor yet. Via

The iPhone 17 and 17 Air may have 120Hz displays, but without the ProMotion features

We've been hearing for a while now that the whole iPhone 17 family will have 120Hz displays and everyone assumed this means ProMotion – but that may not be the case. To be fair, every display from Apple with higher than 60Hz refresh rate has been branded 'ProMotion', so it was a reasonable assumption. However, there is more to ProMotion than just the top refresh rate frequency – it has a wide range of frequency options, ranging from 10Hz to 120Hz on the iPhone 13 Pro. The lower limit was dropped to 1Hz with the iPhone 14 Pro generation. ProMotion on the iPhone 13 Pro Some high refresh rate displays only offer a few options, e.g. 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz. Presumably, this will be the case for the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max should have LTPO panels that can save power on static content by going below 60Hz - this is especially useful in Always-On Display mode. AOD isn't available on non-Pro iPhones and it's not clear whether that will change with the 17-series. LTPO isn't that expensive these days and can even be found on some mid-rangers. Still, we're just glad to see that Apple is ready to leave 60Hz displays in the past where they belong. That may not be entirely true - it's not clear whether the iPhone 17e will be included in the 120Hz upgrade. Remember, the 'e' phones will be yearly releases and a new one is coming in early 2026. International Oppo Reno14 Pro shows up on Geekbench

Oppo launched the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro in China in mid-May, and the devices are soon headed for a global launch - this has been indirectly revealed by the company itself last month when it advertised their integration with Google's Gemini AI. Now, the global Reno14 Pro has been spotted in the Geekbench database, with the model number CPH2739. This model number confirms the fact that it's not the Chinese variant - in Oppo's naming scheme, the international devices always start with "CPH" while the Chinese ones don't. Oppo Reno 14 Pro CPH2739 Global/Indian variant runs on geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 8450 Chipset. Specifications 🔳 MediaTek Dimensity 8450 1 Core @ 3.25 GHz Cortex A725 3 Cores @ 3.00 GHz Cortex A725 4 Cores @ 2.10 GHz Cortex A725 🎮 Mali-G720 MC7 GPU 🍭 Android 15 - 12GB… — Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) June 3, 2025 The Reno14 Pro that ran Geekbench is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8450 SoC, just like its Chinese counterpart, which is good to see because sometimes Chinese companies like Oppo downgrade the chipset for their global models. Not in this case, however. The phone has 12GB of RAM, but of course more options could be offered here. It runs Android 15, which is most likely the version of the OS it will launch with, even though its timing could be better - Google plans to release Android 16 this month and the international Renos are now said to be coming in July. Hopefully Oppo can be quick about updating them to Android 16 once they're out. If the global Reno14 Pro turns out to be identical to its Chinese relative, then it will come with a 6.83-inch 1272x2800 AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 50 MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS, 50 MP ultrawide with 116-degree field-of-view), a 50 MP selfie camera, and a 6,200 mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
