Hugh Jackman & Deborra-Lee Furness Finalize Divorce As The Actress's Sad View On Dating Again Is Revealed
Following the breakdown of her marriage, it appears that Furness's interest in relationships has waned as sources claim she has been getting advances but "is just not interested" in them.
The divorce also appears to have affected Hugh Jackman's business, as fans seemed unwilling to purchase tickets to see his recent solo performance at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.
According to the Daily Mail, Jackman and Furness have finalized their divorce one month after the actress made the filing.
The former couple announced back in September 2023 that their 27-year marriage had crumbled and that they were going their separate ways. However, they delayed in officially filing for divorce as they sorted out their assets.
A judgment of divorce was filed on June 12, making it official, but the paperwork wasn't made public until Monday, June 23.
The news outlet reports that two additional documents were filed two days before the judgment was entered: a "Qualified Medical Child Support Order," which pertains to children's insurance, and "Findings of Fact/Conclusions of Law."
The divorce was settled two weeks ago and only required a judge's signature after a proposed judgment was entered.
Jackman and Furness met on the set of the Australian television series "Correlli" in 1995 and got married the following year, going on to share two adopted children, Oscar and Ava.
Their split was initially feared to be "messy" as the absence of a prenup proved to be a grey area in the settlement.
However, they were able to successfully reach an agreement and divide up their assets, as a source told the Daily Mail, Furness received a "handsome spousal support payment."
"A settlement was reached that Deborra is pleased with, which includes a handsome spousal support payment," the insider shared. "There was some back and forth regarding this financial agreement, but in the end, she got what she believed she deserved. Both are coming out of this financially secure."
"There is not going to be any drama as this gives the closure that she needed," they added.
It appears the "Angel Baby" actress doesn't want to have anything to do with romance for now, following her split from the "Logan" actor, who has since moved on with new girlfriend Sutton Foster.
Sources told the news outlet that Furness has "gotten offers to go out and honestly, she is just not interested in this right now."
Her friends have also repeatedly tried to match her with a potential suitor, but the insider said dating "is just not for her" at the moment.
"For decades, Deborra-Lee was certain that she had found her life-long companion," the source continued, adding that the actress "never thought in a million years that she would be here, at this stage in her life, single."
The insider also said that while Furness is not "jaded by men, she is taking the time to heal and she has turned down dates from some incredible guys."
"She knows what she brings to the table," the source said about the actress. "Once the dust settles on this divorce, she will be open to dating again."
The 69-year-old actress is also said to be focusing on herself by managing to avoid all news about Jackman and his new girlfriend thanks to "a Hugh-blocker on her phone."
Jackman's divorce from Furness seems to have affected him a bit, as fans appeared unwilling to pay for tickets to his recent solo performance at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.
As reported by The Blast, the actor took to the stage to perform his concert series, "Hugh Jackman: From New York, With Love," but struggled to sell tickets, with some fans even attempting to sell their tickets through resale websites for as low as $20.
His recent sales struggles are a far cry from the sold-out arena he recorded in April. Jackman's "From New York, With Love" concert series kicked off in January 2025, months after he and Furness announced that they were going their separate ways.

Kelsey Parker supported as she pens heartbreaking letter to 'angel' baby after tragic loss
Kelsey Parker has been flooded with support as she shared a heartbreaking letter to her 'angel' baby following her tragic loss. It was at the end of June that Kelsey announced the heartbreaking news that her third child, Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, with partner Will Lindsay, had been "born sleeping" shortly before her due date. The 34-year-old was preparing to welcome her first child into the world with her new partner, having welcomed Aurelia, six, and Bodhi, four, with her late husband, The Wanted star Tom Parker. READ MORE: Sue Radford reveals 'tough' reason she stops daughter visiting home with young son READ MORE: Tyson Fury appears at races with wife Paris to watch his horse in action Kelsey confirmed the tragic news of Phoenix's death by sharing a poem about her baby on Instagram, which was captioned: "Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved." The short verse read: "They grew quiet as you arrived, So loved, so longed for, yet not alive. Our precious boy, our angel light, Born with wings, took silent flight'. "We named you Phoenix, brave and bright. A soul of love, of warmth and light, Though we never heard you cry, You'll live in hearts that won't ask why. No breath you drew, no eyes to see, "Still, you mean everything to me. You'll journey with us, softly near, In every sigh, in every tear." Now, Kelsey has shared a new message in tribute to her baby boy. Alongside a video montage of her at the beach, she wrote: "A Letter to My Angel. It's hard to find the words. "There is no preparing for this kind of heartbreak. I had dreams for you, your first giggle, your first steps, the way you would cling to me when the world felt too big. All those moments I imagined are now part of a different kind of story — one I never thought I'd have to write to you. "But this isn't just about pain, it is about the quiet but powerful love you brought into this world. About how you changed me — made me softer, more grounded, and somehow even more grateful." She continued: "Grief and gratitude can exist together. I grieve what was lost, but I am so thankful I had the chance to carry you for 9 months and love you unconditionally, I told you every day I loved you. You will always be mine. My son. My light. My why. "I share this not because I have answers, but because silence can be lonely. And if you are walking through a similar kind of grief, please know you're not alone. There's a quiet sisterhood in this heartbreak, and I feel you deeply." Kelsey added: "For now, I'm learning to live with the ache, to breathe through the waves, and to find little pockets of peace in the middle of the storm. And I know that even though I can't hold you in my arms, I carry you in my heart, always." It comes after Kelsey took to social media last week with her first update since taking time away from her platforms to come to terms with her family's loss, sharing that she, Will, and her two children and headed away for some time together in the sun. She shared a family photo with Will and her two children as they soaked up the sun on a 'needed' holiday together. The heartbreaking image showed the family, dressed in summer attire, standing away from the camera, looking out towards a harbour, with a mountain in the background. Alongside the photo at the time, Kelsey simply penned to fans: 'Exactly what we needed [heart emoji]. Thank you @jet2pics for making it so easy. X."

Dakota Johnson's Complete Dating History
THE RUNDOWN Dakota Johnson has been in the spotlight pretty much since birth, as the daughter of Hollywood stars Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. But her career really exploded when she was cast opposite Jamie Dornan in the Fifty Shades of Grey series. Since then, Johnson has starred in action films, comedies, and more romances, including her most recent role in The Materialists as a matchmaker. With her success came more interest in her personal life. Johnson has dated a few noted celebrities over the years, with one of her longest relationships ending just this year. Here's Johnson's complete dating history do far. Dakota Johnson and Jordan Masterson started dating around 2012. In March 2014, she told ELLE that Masterson did some home renovation for her as a Christmas present. 'He gave me double sinks!' she shared. 'He did it himself. I think double sinks are the key to any relationship.' Masterson is part of a family of actors, including The Walking Dead's Alanna Masterson and Danny Masterson, and they are deeply involved in the Church of Scientology. In 2013, the Daily Mail reported that Masterson was uncomfortable with Johnson's fame associated with the 50 Shades franchise, as well as some of the explicit scenes in the movie, and had encouraged her to get involved with Scientology. There are no other reports on why they may have split. In July 2014, it was rumored the actress was seeing model and musician Matthew Hitt. Things were a bit off-and-on for the couple, and they seemingly split in December of that year. In April 2015, E! reported they were back together after they were seen in Los Angeles. In June 2016, E! News confirmed they had split up again, this time for good. 'Dakota and Matthew have dated on-and-off for the past two years,' said a source. 'They didn't get a chance to see much of each other recently because their work schedules didn't align. She's been up in Vancouver shooting the Fifty Shades trilogy.' Johnson was first linked to Coldplay's Chris Martin in October 2017. They were spotted grabbing dinner at Sushi Park in Los Angeles. According to a People onlooker, the pair appeared 'cozy, laughing and affectionate.' In December, sources confirmed the relationship to Us Weekly, saying, 'Dakota and Chris are definitely dating. They've gotten to know each other really well and are very comfortable from one another. Chris sends Dakota his music to get her opinion. It's more than just a fling.' The couple kept their relationship very private over the next eight years, never walking red carpets together and with very few public appearances side-by-side, though he did join her at events occasionally. In 2020, Martin's ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, talked about her friendly relationship with Johnson in a cover story interview with Harper's Bazaar. 'I love her,' Paltrow said. 'I can see how it would seem weird because it's sort of unconventional. But I think, in this case, just having passed through it iteratively, I just adore her. I always start to think of the ampersand sign—what else can you bring in, instead of being resistant to or being made insecure by? There's so much juice in leaning in to something like that.' In March 2024, Johnson shared rare details about her relationship with Martin and his children in a Bustle interview. She called his son and daughter with Paltrow her stepchildren. 'I love those kids like my life depends on it. With all my heart,' she said. As for Martin, she said that she loves watching him perform: 'I love watching him,' she said. 'I could watch him every day. I don't know how to explain it. I feel like, I don't know... I'm watching my most favorite being do his most favorite thing.' She added, 'When people are really good at things, it is [sexy.]' A few days later, a source told People that Johnson and Martin had been engaged for some time. '[They] got engaged years ago but were in no rush to get married,' a source close to the couple said. Rumors of their relationship being on the rocks circulated in August 2024. On August 16, a source claimed to Daily Mail that Johnson and Martin had broken up. 'Chris and Dakota have tried desperately hard over the past few months to make their relationship work,' the source alleged. 'They'll always have love for each other but they've both come to the conclusion the relationship cannot be sustained long-term. They're both busy people, Chris has been in Europe with Coldplay and they both have personal priorities, passions and work commitments which don't naturally intertwine with each other. They wanted it to work but it just hasn't, and they've now accepted it is best to move on.' A rep for the couple denied the statement, saying rumors that they had broken up are 'not true,' per E!. 'They are happily together.' In June 2015, multiple sources told People that Martin and Johnson had fully broken up after reports of their relationship still being off-and-on. An insider said that 'it feels final this time.' The sources described their relationship as being 'on-off' during its eight-year run.
