But nothing official has been confirmed as of yet despite the fighter's remaining two bouts in his contract.
Fans
have started speculating once again as the fighter posted another story on his Instagram account, urging
Dana White
to make some kind of
Octagon return
announcement.
Conor McGregor urges Dana White and UFC executives for an announcement as he shares an old introductory video of the fighter
The Irish fighter was last seen in a bout against
Dustin Poirier
at
UFC 264
, a rematch of their previous clash at
UFC
257. Ever since, the fighter has not been spotted inside the Octagon, even though Conor McGregor was scheduled to face
Michael Chandler
at
UFC 303
.
The Notorious withdrew from the fixture at the last moment owing to a toe injury, and since then, he has shown no signs of stepping back into the Octagon in any official manner.
The Irish fighter has been more interested in his political venture and the issues related to Ireland. On several occasions, he has commented on the present government policies and the unfavorable circumstances for Irish citizens. Recently, McGregor has started posting videos of himself training and in the past week, within a couple of days, the fighter posted a series of sparring videos and now a statement mentioning Dana White, which indicates the fighter's willingness to pick up the gloves once again.
McGregor shared a fan compilation of clips that shows the UFC boss announcing the entry of the Notorious before his bouts. The fighter wrote the same words, White used to address the five-time world champion, 'Let's get this show started'
Fans seem to be sceptical about the post owing to the fighter previously posting on the same lines and even claiming about the possible UFC negotiations, and then nothing concrete coming out of it.

The community took up this opportunity to reflect on the lack of accountability of such posts. One of the users wrote, 'How many times is he gonna say something along those lines then not make a return? It's getting old man, either return or don't. But stop teasing it then not coming back to fight'
Another one wrote, 'Took a slightly higher dosage today. That's all it is.'
One even assumed that vacating of title by
Islam Makhachev
to move up the weight ctagory might be driving factor for the fighter's return.
'So he is saying he was scared of Islam, and now that Islam is not in 155 anymore, he is ready to go?? or is this just junkie talk like usual?'
Also read:
McGregor's constant statement are not creating the desired buzz anymore. On the contrary, an official announcement might have some sort of an impact in moving the fan tides in favor of the fighter.

Pat McAfee's wife, Samantha, celebrated this on Instagram: 'Hearing over 400,000 people boo Tom Brady was a real highlight of the day. I'm sorry, but I have Colts blood running through my veins. The finger was a bit much, my bad.' Her post highlighted the intense Indianapolis fan rivalry. This animosity isn't a new development. Colts fans harbor long memories of Brady being the orchestrator of their gridiron heartbreaks. From crushing AFC title game losses to playoff eliminations, he consistently dominated Indianapolis. I Took Gronk to the Indy 500 His remarkable 16-4 overall record against them, coupled with 33 touchdowns – more than against any other team outside the AFC East – cemented his role as a recurring villain.
